Patiently waiting for soft naturals😊
...and soft classic :)
And soft dramatic😊
She said next week 😊
Agree
Still waiting😂 SN here
I postponed my haircut appointment until your video of soft gamine is posted 😅
Wow I had no idea we FN’s could pull off the long sleek hair. I learn something new everyday with kibbe. Thanks!
always remember don't match blunt hair with blunt bones
With Cameron Diaz the difference of the haircuts is so huge! Sleek geometric bob definitely looked much worse on her than slightly feathered hair.
It's shocking, how different her appearance is with the different haircuts.
“A soft geometric shape with a feathered outline” - so helpful 💜
I love these videos!
Im an FN and dye my naturally dark blonde (which I lightened for years) to a warm copper. I dont plan on going back to my roots, the red hair suits me, but my blonde did the tousled hair look so perfectly. The copper hair doesnt have the same effect, so waves with some texture spray is how I style it. So interesting how certain pairings go together.
I just got bangs and I enjoy having fluff/volume around my face. My inspo was Nicole Kidman in Practical Magic which is apparently a wig but I think it was one of Nicole's best looks.
❤ this series! For soft classics my inspiration for hair is Kirsten Dunst and Dianna Agron. I can’t wait for that one.
Thank you, Ally!
Thoroughly enjoyable to listen to your opinions/ insights.
I believe I am pure natural.
I did a little modelling in the early 90's, and many of styles at that time worked well for me.
I understood my colours, and minimising shoulder line, but now I understand better how I was getting many haircuts wrong, and why some, although I did not like, were commented on positively by others.
Wish I could go back and do it all with this knowledge, but VERY grateful I have it now.
After 20+ years of playing around with different haircuts and colors, I basically agree with everything said.
Except that I am that rare exception, where a drastic color change (dark, ashy blonde to black) looks natural. I'm very cool + bright and mousy brown looks absolutely awful on me. I tried basically everything in between, but the sharp contrast to very dark hair just works really well for me. There are people with light skin, dark blue eyes and black hair naturally though, so it's not an unnatural combination per se.
But cut wise, layers and a slightly tousled style or loose curls definitely works best. I tried short hair and geometric bobs and that, sadly, looked awful on me.
Great video thank you! Explains why everyone hated my hair when I cut it all off 😂
I think ashy blond is the such great look for Aniston. 😊 Also red hair looks absolutely amazing on her. 😍
So excited!!!
As a flamboyant natural I used to have deep brown hair (dark eyes). Now at 65 my natural hair is a slightly creamy white with no dimension to it. How to pull it off without hair dye? Any other ways to add depth to balance things out?
Have you tried a grey or black shampoo or some soft layers?
What haircut do you have?
As another older natural white blonde FN I say the heck with worrying about variation in your color. People pay lots to try to achieve that color. Focus instead on your clothing colors and style and have fun with your haircut.
Great video - thanks 💙
Beautiful! Thank you so much!
Dramatic family please, going to the hair salon tomorrow :D :D :D
Ohhh I was missing Blake Lively in this! Gorgeous hair.
Thank you Aly for all of your insights. I'm patiently waiting for dramatic classic haircut and color. Thank You.
I feel like I would kill it in the hairstyle on the left in 1:07
Thabk you, Aly! ❤ 🙏🏽
Aly ur videos are amazing..i learned so much from u..thank u very much 🌸💖🩵🌼
I heard someone else say blunt was better on naturals, jennifer does look better without blunt cut
Dramatics do blunt cuts well.
Their enemy must be a natural
Yes! Natural more dry…well said🎉
17:02 😂 Very funny! An image of Paltrow getting her blonde hair touch up.
thank you
I grew up when spider man and Bring it On. I would always get you to look like Kirsten Dunst. More recently it's been Jennifer Lawrence(maybe), Taylor Swift(i don't think so), and Harley Quinn(Margot Robbie). I think that was more my outfit and hair. However, I have a light olive skin tone and can get medium/olive in the summer. I keep going back to soft dramatic, Soft/Flamboyant natural, or maybe soft classics. I'm 5'8 and fleshy, long/leggy, not too leggy my torso is normal. I appear taller usually 5'10. I did/do get called 90's super modelish.
My original color was dark auburn. I went salt and pepper/grey, dyed it auburn again. I like it auburn but it's hard on my hair and I don't like the chemicals, so it's back to grey. 😏😄
If you want auburn, plant hair color might work well for you.If you do it correctly, it is actually possible, to dye white hairs with that, despite what many people think.
I got my first white hairs in my mid twenties already and have mostly been dying my hair dark brown with henna and indigo ever since. The result is actually better than with conversational hair color, because it has more depth and reflexes. Regular hair color tends to look flat and artificial in comparison.
Grey is classy.
@@raraavis7782 I'm allergic to Henna. I tried dark Henna; I lost a lot of hair and my scalp was itchy for a long time. I'm embracing the grey now. 😊
@@LowSlungBadBitch thanks. I'm liking it. 😊👍👍
Thank you!! Sooo useful..
Very interesting. Nice job!
Ally hi, can you transform yourself into Agnetha from ABBA please, your Madonna transformation was the best
Are you saying FN needs sleeker hair than N and shouldn’t do the lion’s mane as much? I have curly and very thick hair.
I just did the kibbe quiz and I'm a flamboyant natural! Perfect timing😄
Hi Aly. Do you work in this as well? I mean, if I would like to know my body type and what suits me, can I hire your services?
Yes, you can write her personally
This was really interesting and liked how the 90s supermodels brought back the straight hair in glamorous way. However Linda Evangelista is an exception who suited short hair best, sleek too, does that make her dramatic? How was she able to be a chameleon and suited so many color hair and styles?
Yes, she is a Dramatic I believe.
She’s definitely a dramatic
7:47 FN
So what style for a almost 70 woman whose hair is very fine and of course, thinning. Also an oblong face who's hair looks like drowned rat if longer than earlobe length. 5'7" so probably flamboyant natural (wide bone-structure)?
I'm not happy with being FN, especially having straight sleeky hair, any volume is almost impossible. I have layering, but I think I need to cut the hair shorter as I started looking heavy and not really bright.
Get some bangs!!
@@LowSlungBadBitch Nevermore! NEVER!
Being a Flamboyant Natural with fine stick straight hair 😭
Ohhhhh I wish this video existed abooooouuuut 17 years ago!
Love your advice! 💃🏽
So was Jennifer Aniston's real colour dark brown? Interesting. 😏
I have to disagree with so many things mentioned in this video. And what you perceived as cheap I thought looked elegant. But anyway 🤷🏻♀️ each to their own!
I'm FN and agree with all of it 😅 I found it so helpful!
