    I love having Natural Essence ☺️😍 I also have Soft Natural Kibbe Body Types. With Taurus (Venus 2nd House ruled) in the 9th House Stellium(Ruled by Sagittarius and Jupiter which is very carefree). Virgo Rising also an earth Sign. I also noticed that people are not afraid to approach me. Most of these descriptions if not all resonate to me

    I'm an FN and this really helped me understand why some gamine elements resonate with me- I've got some gamine in my essence, but i'm mostly natural essence. This video is an amazing pep talk for Natural women, both Kibbe and Kitchener. I'll come back to it when I need some inspiration.

    I’m a kibbe dramatic body type. It my essence is natural. I love the masculine lines of the dramatic, unfussy clothing with softer natural fabrics, natural hair and make up. Love clothing that’s comfortable and feel the best in casual pieces. my hair I love to wear with soft highlights and often worn curly and long. I love to be wild and free but simple and natural.

    So happy to see you back in action! A suggestion--put something on your website directing us here. I kept checking back in hopes you be posting again, but found your channel by accident. I would love your kibbe content, especially visuals and explanations on why some things are more flattering than others on each type.

      Hi Amy! Thant's an excellent suggestion I have just acted on! I plan on getting all my blog content into video form and then starting up on new content for both the blog and channel- so please check back in periodically. :)

    New subscriber over here ! love your thorough explanations and your voice is really easy to listen to, and the examples you give are amazing , colored and non- western examples in these style videos are often so hard to find ! thank you !

    Thank you for these extensive explanations of the essences! Also, as a person of colour mostly living in an environment with white people, it is nice to see so many examples with people of colour, as it is somewhat easier for me to compare myself to them.
    One small point you might want to consider is the parts in the different videos that you repeat, luke the general information. For someone like me who watches all you videos, it is not so interesting to hear the same information so many times and it is a little bit of a hassle to skip through it. You might want to consider splitting the general infornation and the essence specific information in different videos. Cheers!

      Different likes I guess bc I like it. And I I don’t want to hear it moving forward is convenient. Not sure why just skipping ahead is such an inconvenience lol, it just takes a second 🤣

    • @MyAuthenticStyle-MAS
      @MyAuthenticStyle-MAS  7 місяців тому

      Noted- I will keep this in mind moving forward, but I try to give as complete a video as possible assuming someone is watching for the very first time. I do add time stamps so you can easily navigate and skip to the parts you haven't seen yet- is that helpful?

      @@MyAuthenticStyle-MAS yes, this is helpful! I gave this feedback recognising from myself that I also always want to be as complete as possible, but most people like things short and to the point, I noticed. So I think 'the people' will be more quick at watching two shirter videos, than one longer video.

      @@MyAuthenticStyle-MASHonestly, the hobo stereotype is very boho in nature. I picture 19th century bohemians and 1960s hippies.

    For me, the N essence always seemed like the Hufflepuff house, whatever was left over from the other essences. I could think of a look/vibe for all of the other essences; however, I would draw a blank with N essence. What does "nice" look like?
    However, this video actually solidified the N essence. I love this video and your work. Thank you so much!❤❤🎉🎉

    Really pleased to see the combo of natural and gamine with the Solange example

  • @NormieNeko
    @NormieNeko 7 місяців тому +2

    My actual body type embodies the flamboyant gamine, but my face showcases natural and ingenue essences. My dress style is extra petite soft natural in order to balance all of this, so my personal aesthetics are farmcore coquette, buckle bunny, farmer's daughter, and nature/prairie girl. There's a touch of morute and trailer park princess...but I keep it conservative. So that's what happens when mixing natural + ingenue + gamine. I like figuring myself out.
    You could make videos about essence hybrids. Many people love variety and combos. Well, I do, lol.

    This was very interesting to watch. I just went through all your videos (they are great btw). I'm a Kibbe body type soft dramatic (pretty much text book, very similar to Sofia Vergara body). But watching the essences, I think I have a mix of primarily romantic but mixed with some natural and dramatic in there.

    Omg I love this content. I learnt so much and the examples were so good. I felt so seen in your personality description of naturals. But also realised although im a soft natural body type my essence is actually romantic, which was a big missing piece as I was choosing the wrong hair and make up. Erykah badu has been a style icon for me my whole life and know I know why!
    I'm subscribing right now and im off to watch your other vids. Your thoughts on style are so nuanced, thoughful and well researched. Thank you ❤
    Will you be making any videos of colour seasons? Im a soft summer and there is very info for women of colour who are soft summers. 😊

    I need help to find out my kibbe type... i am absolutly confused, i feel like i am a classic with more elongation, but not wideness like the DC... heavy fabrics look absolutly not good at me... 😵‍💫 can i reach youbsomehow?

  • @SofiA-nf7os
    @SofiA-nf7os 4 місяці тому

    I don't think the third picture @ 3:26 is FN as the fabric is so flimsy, not suiting the heavier bone structure of a natural that well.

  • @RuffiRaggaMuff

    I’ve always felt like a soft natural but I have so much soft gamine in me too. If I’m petite curvy but with delicately broad bones and thick flesh (not soft and romantic) more athletic would I still be soft gamine? I don’t feel tall enough for soft natural lines but I’m too muscular for some of the soft gamine lines!

      @@em945 I’ve found that I really am both. I can pull off SG elements with SN lines. My face is somewhere between a SN and TR so I can do puff sleeves and a little lace but too girly or too flowy doesn’t work. I’m really having fun with some different formulas 😊
