Nice system. I only would take a T- pipe as an out-pipe so you avoid getting a siphon-effect and air can pass through the pipe downwards to your green zone. such a long pipe towards your garden creates a powerfull suction effect and might suck out your container.

Looking nice, very inventive and creative at special the skimmer !!!. Only one question, are you gone use it in the winter ? If so isn’t there a risk of the outlet pipe freezing shut?

Hi Dirk! Only one way to find out! lol.. wait and see. :) So far it hasnt but we will see. We do get below freezing temps but i dont think low enough to freeze 15lt of water. Having said that i do plan to buuild a little cupboard around it mostly for aesthetic purposes but maybe i should insulate it once i do.

Hi! Great video! Clear, concise, with no nonsense. You’ve given me the solution for an ongoing problem.
One question. Could you please tell me what you used for the food particle filter?
Thanks and keep up the great work.

What about dish soap? How do we get that out of thw water ? Is it harmfull for the plants?

How much grease actually comes out? We tend to wipe down our plates to the compost container, and use paper towels on greasy stuff. Certainly interesting to know how much comes out a typical property. People tend to think fatbergs are from one idiot pouring down their deep fat fryer, but I assume it's just residual build up over time from many.

I take ours to the local recycling centre but I guess you could look into making biodiesel.

I was a chef and in 25 years and many restaurants we never did that. By law you have to a grease trap..there must be somewhere you can drop it off.
