Was reading an article on that statement made by Brady and it probably was the worse thing he'd do in his career. The Giants defense (namely Michael Strahan) said that they didn't need any motivation for the game because they were confident after the WEEK 17 matchup. He said when the Giants defenders heard how Brady laughed at Plaxico's prediction, Strahan said it genuinely made them upset. Hence why you hear Strahan in the Mic'D up before kickoff he's in the huddle mocking Brady saying " Brady ? He can't be touched. He can't be hit. Us ? We don't stand a chance " They were angry and it showed on defense. Had Brady not made that statement the Patriots may be 19 - 0
One of my favorite playoff wins ever, not just because it was the star heads, but that Terrell Owens was on the cowboys, and always talking trash. Best moment...post game press conference with fake tears in his eyes..."that's my quarterback..." Lol
Loved this entire championship run, especially beating the Cowboys in Dallas. After growing up watching the Roger Staubach led Cowboys kick my Giants' arse twice a year every year, it seemed, this was a very sweet victory indeed.
Giants beating the Cowboys was one of the biggest upsets in NFL history, but Giants beating the undefeated Patriots was one of the biggest upsets in all of sports.
The Giants were BIG TIME gangsters that year. Went into everybodies house and kicked their asses then went to the big dance and spoiled Tom Brady's beauty pageant of an 18 - 0 record holy shit 😂
A great 2x superbowl champ Eli Manning along with Great Big Ben. Two great legends. Oh btw cowboys got decimated once again by 49ers in 2022. Never seem to please me with the cowboys toxic fan base and team. Hope you guys do great this coming fall in 2022. Real champs right here👍👆from steelers fan to Giants. Good memories.
The Cowboys won't be getting back to an NFC Championship in Jerry's lifetime. As long as he's pulling the strings, Dallas will continue to UNDER ACHIEVE. He'll just do what he always does, overpay for those not worthy (ie Dak and Zeke) and let others take their skills elsewhere.
@@TRockNFL You're forgetting they lost to the 49ers with Jimmy G under center. They didn't even get the chance to lose to Brady or Rogers or Stafford. Plus, they'll probably lose a few players to free agency this offseason so they might not even be as good next year.
Not to mention the week before the game Romo and Witten partied it up in Cancun. And the play before the INT, Crayton let up on his route. Had he kept going he would've been hit in stride
I remember that game, Micheal Strahan saying this T.O. & Patrick Crayton 84 GET YOUR POPCORN 🍿READY, YOU CAN WATCH THE ( US N.Y. GMEN) IN THE CHAMPION ON 📺 at Home. Cowboy football has been this way SINCE.
When is he ever is. Jerry jones is a con artist and manipulator who can only afford injury reserve players. Now he owes money and paid hush hush money to a duaghter he kept in secret with another woman. Dude, is worst owner i ever seen compared to other owner s of nfl. This coming season in 2022 cowboys dont have a chance. Which makes me a happy camper😂. Giants deserve better than the desperate toxic fan base cowboys fan and their corrupt organization.
If he ever was right. The 13-3 team was build by Bill Parcels. Once Parcels got the team ready, Jerry Jones ran him off, put in butt puppet Wade Phillips and started standing on the sidelines again. Jerry is such an egomaniacal jack off. It's all about camera time for him. He deserves to never win again.
Brady's intention grounding SB 46 was way up there too when it came to Poor Decisions. He scored the GIANTS first 2 points, and a GIANT didn't even touch em'. Thanks Brady, without that Safety the score would've been 19-17 in the last minute meaning the Pats would've only need a FG to win instead of the TD.
Wait actuallyyyy, it would’ve been a two pt game after the touchdown but New York would have kicked the PAT instead of going for two to make it a 6 point game, so Brady would’ve gotten the ball down three to tie it with a FG and send us to OT or win, but they wouldn’t have won in regulation off a FG attempt
I remember Cowboys fans were so confident they talked about this game being another Bye week for them. They were already talking about facing Green Bay then going to the Super Bowl to face New England to win it all. Who actually won it all? That's right!
Tony Romo is the ultimate empty stats, numbers guy. After seeing Dak in this system for six years, and having the same problem, I’m starting to think it’s not ALL Romo’s fault. And that it’s not ALL Dak’s fault. But, yeah, the Giants 2007 run was pretty awesome. Especially watching them stun an overconfident team every step of the way.
Romo and Daks teams have had all the talent in the world too, but coaching is their downfall, a decade of Jason Garrett and Mike McCarthy 💀, and yeah idk who saw New York beating the top 2 seeds in Dallas and GB then beating the only 16-0 team in NFL history…
Tony can see single coverage on a receiver all day in the booth but cannot find T.O in single coverage at the bottom of the screen with 16 seconds left in the game. . . .
At least for y’all the NFC is wideeeee open this year with Brady’s retirement and the Packers collapsing on themselves with Rodgers and Tae contracts, only real threats is the Rams, and 49ers? then who else? Lol
3:08 changed it all with the Crayton drop . There was plenty of green space and if the Cowboys score 7 they go up by 10 with all the momentum. That didn't happen the Giants got the ball back and scored and their defense shut the Cowboys down.
Jerry wasn't assuming they would win by getting his players NFC champ tix, he was trying to motivate them. It just ended up motivating the Gmen a lot more
Another one would be when they were up on Green Bay by 28 pts. and the Cowboys found a way to lose that game. It wasn't easy, but if it was everybody would do it. By the way Aaron Rodgers was running on ONE leg. And still won the game thanks to his teammates.

Saying Super Bowl 42 was Brady’s beauty pageant that got spoiled sounds better lmfao I’m sticking to that🤣
Love watching Jerry Jones mad face after another loss 🤣🤣🤣
Jerry Jones the only professional sports team owner to make George Steinbrenner look like a saint.
As a Yankee fan I wish my villain owner was still alive.

Always amusing when they say Eli managed the game, 15 tds and 2 int in two Super Bowl runs sounds a little better than managing.
They love the taste of Peyton's jock strap that's why
