I feel it still has room for improvement (and yeah, hunter rank is one of those few things), but as it is, it really has changed the game for the better overall.
Can i play this on steamdeck? Any tutorial how to play this game please?
I think if X9 treats navigator calls like kid icarus uprising's mid stage character banter it could become a really fun feature
X9 ? You like dream my friend , it's your right ^^'
@@rockmanx8011 At this point I wonder what Capcom tries harder to avoid, an X9 or Legends 3. At this point I wouldn't be shocked if they made another Darkstalkers game before either one, and that is likely to never happen as well.

You're totally right, they do everything to dodge a new game, and the worst thing is that the pigeons are happy to have yet another compilation of games that are over 20 years old. Check out the comments in the official trailer of Battle Network Collection, "Thanks Capcom for this collection" "Oh it's so great thank you Capcom..." Capcom doesn't even have to make a new game with these idiots pigeons. Next step : Star force collection. "Thanks Capcom!!" It's deplorable.
The collections are nice for people who never played these games before. Capturing a bigger audience with these collections will increase sales for new games.
@@MrMeowMeowSaysPurr They can play them for free with emulator...
21:22 What a timing, and it comes with a interesting glitch
The matrix
i think zero boss definitely need some improvement tho, they can make it as much masochist as it were, like zero can use the z saber and spin attack whenever x try to jump.
Indeed, because as it is, both the Normal and Awakened Zero fights have a VEEERY exploitable nature that makes the fight a joke (especially with Awakened Zero it would be great to force you to find optimal ways to deal with more moves before he does his instant-kill move, not to mention that Zero Nightmare in X6 can be exploited in a similar way).
Remake from original game?
not remake but this mod uses the original ps1 game
One of the best games out there
How do you apply the addendum?
Question for the lava part is, how is X's ride armor not destroyed? I mean look at it swimming in the lava without the upper part protecting him. Also, I was today's old to have found it you can just simply blast that puzzle door with a charged ground fire, instead of going all through the trouble of solving it with f-laser
I believe in the original, only f-laser can destroy it
Yeah, CJR is right. In the original game, the F-Laser was the only thing that could destroy the puzzle door in Dark Necrobat's stage. Here, this hack has it to where you can utilize multiple weapons to destroy it. Burn Dinorex's Ground Fire is merely just one option, to my understanding.
@@DrakeNightwing as long as it can go through walls, it can break it I believe. Same with the whale stage and goo shaver. Any special weapon can destroy that too.
What about D hold. I never knew it can make you invulnerable to spikes
@@raiga5-6-42 I think you've seen a mod like that. Because the last time I checked it on an emulator, it doesn't nullify fatal zones when time is frozen/stopped
19:53 Was that possible in the original game?🤔
No
Do you know if they intend in the future to make the bosses more agressive? While the changes are very impressive, the bosses are still slow to act and react to the player.
Yes. The author of this mod said that in a future update, he will make the bosses more challenging.
@@TheSaiyanGamer25 Awesome, that would put MMX5 on top tier.
@@HolyMarmot Agree. Can't wait
@@VGear Yeah, he does look stupid whenever he jumps. Can't wait how the author of this mod will make bosses more brutal.
Could you do a tutorial on how to set this up and play?
Seeing Gaea's huge quick charge buster without it's movement debuff boots is cursed.
Man Zero sure loves his rekkohas
I love the new font
19:46 - What?? I didn't know that the fire full power can destroy the wall... Since 2007 that i play this game and i never think this...
1:20:40 this thing is bad…figure it out yourself
The only things I want from an improvement project of X5 is to not have to revisit Duff's stage 3 times, and an option to just kill dialogue (mostly Alia)
In the options menu of the game (with the improvement patch), you can actually turn off Alia.
And as for Duff's stage: 49:13 & 49:37
This is the actual canon ending. Zero is supposed to moved on to his own series after x5 but Capcom loves money so they made x6 - x8.
How can you make an upgrade to X5 without switching off all the irritading Alias monolouges?
You can switch it off in this project, it was just left on in the video lol
U might be the best MegaMan player ever my g I get high and watch ya no damage runs all the time
How do you play this? is it a installer or do I have to play on an emulator?
Play on a emulator, I played on EPSXe
