I absolutely LOVE the twist on the boss rush! You can choose the number of bosses (Copy Reploids simulating Mavericks, in this context) you want to square up against at once. That dramatically speeds up the biggest roadblock of the final grind in the games and gives you the ability to go at full-bore with hardcore difficulty, or relaxes it if you want to ease your way through it. Also worth noting is that this serves as a callback to the 8-on-1 onslaught offered as a stand-in challenge in the beta build of the demake before the final stages were incorporated. I wish the newer Mega Man games took note of this. Lastly, the Copy Reploids using the ZX games transformation pose and sound effects is a clever touch!
The older games simply couldn't handle it with the vast amount of slowdown, and even some bosses USED slowdown attacks in their video games, e.g., Crystal Snail.
For real, i never heard nor expected a demake were released recently. I just remember megaman X from PS1 era and searched speedrun videos, but then i stumbled on MX8 demake and now i wanna try it lol. Kudos to those who poured their heart and soul to create my favourite game
Hello, the developer team of megaman x 16 bist, I'm very happy to witness the game, I love the saga of boy x. I would love a 16-bit demake of x7 in this format, the gameplay will be great.

I recognize some classic Sonic the Hedgehog sound effects in this game. particularly those huge vertical lasers firing during the Optic Sunflower boss fight.
Dude I want to see the other characters desperately. At least zero because he could realistically have a fully functional moveset in the 16 bit setting using x3's model as a base
@@Kamawan0 It may be a surprise for a lot of people but this run uses "saves states" too. Doing perfect runs for over 1 hour is only for those that want to do Speedruns, hours and hours of trying, maybe days or weeks. But the effort of doing perfect levels are quite the feat too. The route to get this game 100% achievements requires at least 23 levels, 22 of those played almost perfectly. So the work done in those videos are incredibly demanding and of the highest quality. XMaverickhunter se rifa xD

It really isn't. The guy playing thru the game tanked most of the enemies/bosses with relative ease. Now imagine if he knew the patterns and dodged instead?

This was a great run. The fact that this was fanmade by ONE person and had such great detail is amazing. Capcom needs to go back to roots

Can you disable all the dialogue text, the achievement pop ups and the grading system that appears on-screen? Is that in options?
Yeah, you can disable the achievements pop up. Which grading system? The ones in the optic sunflower level? I don't think so
