Android Auto absolutely works wirelessly. Just bought my wife a new 2021F150 Lariat with the 502a package earlier this week. She uses Apple, I use Android. Both work wireless.

I ordered my new F150 Lariat with the old man step , way better than G M's offering . btw , column shifters and dial shifters are not great , floor mounted shifters are way cooler .
My new Sheriff's vehicle is a 2021 F-150 XL, SSV, 4x4 3.5L, 4 door with the 5.5 ft bed in Stone Gray. Just need 5 Star to get on the ball and get an 87 octane tune and speed governor delete.

Powerboost is not a mild hybrid system like the rams, the Powerboost is a full hybrid.
They really had an embarrassing understanding of the Powerboost hybrid. Oh you have an insane 500 lb-ft of torque in the regular 3.5? How about another 70 lb-ft AND how about 40% better fuel economy in the City?

I just bought the 2021 STX supercab 4x4 with the 2.7. Bigger bed for work, enough room in the back seat for the kids, plenty of power for hauling, decent interior and gadgets for the price and 4 wheel drive for Missouri winters. It’s perfect for work and family and didn’t cost 50 or 60 grand.
Good call. We love the 2.7. In fact it's probably the sweet spot for value and performance. Very reliable and plenty of power.

My father got a brand new lariat fx4 in late 2021. Has the mid package in guarde green and stone grey with the baja interior and also equiped with the 3.5. By far the best looking curent gen f-150 by a mile imo
Here's one for ya..... I have the rapid red 2021 xlt....with the full lariat trim. 3.5 ecoboost. Truly something very rare and special. Truck is fantastic on every level.
bought mine in Sept it does very well we have weather extemes +40 c and now were at-30 c and truck feels the same great heater and air conditioner great performance my 2021 Lariat is my 6th Ford pickup i like my Fords
I ordered a lariat in stone grey with the 2.7. Best bang for your buck hands down in the f150 lineup.

Just bought this: 2022 F150 Lariat FX4 Sport Package 6.5' box with every option but power running boards (fixed ones) and I love this truck. Here in Norther Ontario our roads are real bad and this thing rides like a luxury car. Ford has hit the ball out of the park with this vehicle. Forget the price just drive one and you'll see what I mean. FYI the 18 speaker sound system is great as long as you don't turn it up to rock concert volume, the sound quality degrades real fast.
First the tailgate "man step", and now a shifter that automatically folds into the console, to make room for....uhhhh....something.
Very nice truck. Better interior improvements. Ram is still my pick for interior and truck over all. Ram and Ford are sure putting pressure on all truck manufactures.

Android auto is wireless now in the new 2021 Ford. I’ve heard this several times now. I could be wrong though. Also, I would love the 3.0 diesel.
Ordered the same version and engine, sport package, 4x4, 6.5 bed. I hope to get it by April. Long wait right now but it’s worth the wait.

I have a 2021 Ford F150 lariat FX4 Full leather interior. Chrome package 3.5 L eco-boost V6 which I love all-around great truck although I have the FX four package I don’t know if I will ever take it truly off road lol!

I wouldn’t by an F150 without the centre shift it’s manly ,gutsy .in ram little button to shift is to feminine.
It has wired and wireless CarPlay and android auto.

I do love the F-150. However, there are 2 items that I would like to change on all Ford trucks. Get rid of useless left and right siding open the back window. I much prefer the older Sport-Trac (ala the 'ancient' Continental/Mercury) style closing from the top to bottom. I would also like the handle grip over the roof doors instead of the 'A' pillar.
We agree on both points. The drivers seat also needs a oh crap handle. If you want a glass down rear window, Toyota has you covered with the Tundra.
Android Auto DOES work wirelessly now... if your car/truck is equipped to do so also

Can the 7.3 fit in the F150? I know Ford would never do that but is it physically possible? Man, I would buy that in a flash. I still have my 2013 F150 with the 5.0 because I just can’t bare to buy a full size truck with a 6 cylinder. Might just end up buying a F250 with the 7.3.
You have hit the nail on the head. Craig and I have had this debate several times now. Yes it will fit. No Ford does not have any formal plans to put the 7.3 godzilla in the 1/2 ton trucks yet.
If they do, I will be getting one. Craig would probably still get the 3.5 turbo. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more.
traded my 2022 pro 4x frontier in for my 2021 fx4 lariat . thanks to the gross prices of trucks and how hard I nailed the guys at Nissan I'm all into this baby for 50k canadian and only 15k km (do the math I can't to miles haha) I've owned 2 ford's that had cam phaser issues so I wasn't sold on the trade until I got into it. f it ipl replace the engine I'm 3 years for this comfort. amazing truck.

Great to hear! The current ecoboost 3.5's are really sorted by now. We even had a first generation that was problem free with a ton of miles. Enjoy it!

Just had to reorder a new F150 Lariat FX4 w Slate Gray interior because the original F150 Lariat Sport came w the crappy 2tone interior that was never brought to my attention at the dealership... Soo I'm settling on having Ft, R, SideVents, & Chrome Grill. Hopefully in time I'll have the Bumpers painted & change out the grill & side vents so I can have the sport "appearance" package... FORD screwed up on this 1!!! Interior should have been a option NOT 1 size fits all!!!

I thought the 3.5 eco is 510 lb torque
We have seen that number float around as well (we know the gen 2 raptor has 510), but our press kit on the 2021 has it rated at 500. Either way its a beast!
I’ve been a Ford per for years, I order a 2021 Ford F-150 in August 2020, and as of today I still have not received my truck. I’m very unhappy with the customer service I have received not only from my deal but how long it has taken to a day new truck. Dan
Dan - I am really sorry to hear that. I wonder if by passing the dealer and reaching out to Ford directly might yield better results for you? Hang in there, it is a wonderful truck that you have ordered.

Huh? What do you guy call expensive then?
Chase - we should have explained this more. What we mean is that for the money and space, and respective capability -they are good value in the new vehicle market place. A super crew full size F150 can be found for about 30k after rebates. That amount of room and comfort is hard to find in that price range.
Lariat is a really nice truck! Won't get the V8 because of cylinder deactivation problems. Probably won't get the Lariat version or the xlt because 50k to 70k is like a down payment for a house. That leaves the STX and I'm not paying 45k for an STX. We're down to the XL and I'm not paying 38k for a bare bones truck with rubber floor mats. Screw these new trucks and the a hole white collar idiots that have driven the price sky high and don't even use their trucks for work. Just gonna keep my old Tundra with 200k that runs great and take that 70 k and pay off my house. Be debt free.

These trucks are pretty cheap? Oh my God mine was $64,000 sticker. Period
Just ordered a 2021 XLT SuperCab, 4x4 (no FX4), 3.5L EcoBoost, 302a, max towing, Guard Green w/ the two-tone carbonized gray. I kept going back and forth on the 5.0 or the 3.5L but this guy ua-cam.com/video/74XHxfJcUZw/v-deo.html convinced me to get the 3.5L.

@@TexasTruckChannel Theoretically there is nothing preventing the column shifter. It is just a choice of Ford to use the console shifter on all the high-end models

Ford is looking really dated from the outside. And it sits so low - kind of like a minivan. Maybe the advertising should say “Ford - the truck for chubby, bearded metrosexuals.”
Looks are subjective, but the 2021 certainly looks better in person than on the internet. This is a 2wd variant so it is lower. The 4x4 models are a lot higher.
Is there anything good about the truck? I bet you don’t like pets
