They make trucks for the upper class now. I'm out. I'd rather have a refrigerator full of groceries and for my lawn I fault down the seats of my affordable Camry .
The F150 Sport with STX Appearance package seems to be the best deal going, coupled with the ridiculous discounts, if you’re not in a hurry to get a truck, they can be found for a decent price, when compared against the going prices for SUVs/CUVs.
Agreed. I would rather have an XLT F-250 than a $60,000 F-150. Although I’m one of the only people that prefers the analog stuff and the not so futuristic interior. Also, the more I look at both F-150s, I’m beginning to like the 2020 exterior more on the XLT trim.

Not a fan at all of the gimmicky shift handle. I get why they are doing it but that is just something else to break or cause a problem. Did you miss the center arm rest folding forward? In the ad I saw when you collapse the shifter you can unfold the arm rest forward to give a large flat surface. That might be an option idk. I like a lot of the other stuff and it looks good. Ram still is top truck in my book with this a close 2nd.
Ford makes the best looking trucks in America. And now the most functional trucks too. The design and functionality of interior features tells me they had the owner in mind when they designed this truck. Ram may be giving Ford a run for their money but Ford is still on top. A naturally aspirated V-8 is the best option engine wise. The heck with those turbo options and an LED speedometer display makes it even better. I want one, time to go buy a lottery ticket and hope for a winner.
I'm amazed by ford's way to deliberately stealing money from its customers by just doing a couple of different body lines, new lights and grille, putting technology that has been in other brands for yeeears, a foldable(BREAKABLE) shifter instead of dial or push and pull buttons like all others and save all that space for the driver. And presents it as totally redesigned and put a sticker price of "60K" for a lariat and if you want more fancy options and unnecessary "Bling Bling" you gotta go to higher trim with the Killing ranch at "$80,000.00" what a way to fool me right on my face!!!
1 of the key things to mention is that this is a 502a. There are 3 different Lariat choices. Some UA-camrs need to let people know what series Lariat it is there viewing... Great video otherwise 😁👍🏼

Man ford really missed up the front end of the f150 Bing a RAM and GMC fan currently owning a 2016 ram 1500 larime and 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 slt I always had a soft spot for the f150 but this current model and the last have the worst front end.
I’m honestly curious on which cars you liked the most so far out of 2020 that you reviewed. Per class: truck, sedan, coupe, luxury, muscle, sports, etc. would be cool to see your input but I understand if not doable. Great review and can’t wait to see these in the market in a couple years
Better looking truck a little overpriced but you can get a nicely equipped XLT but I'm wondering will the F150 ever get air ride suspension I believe that really only thing that separate ford and Ram because ford got the better engines choices and the interiors is about the same I like ford 12inch a little better not a fan of the iPad style

I don't like the open rear wheel wells, after two months all those shiny new parts will be rusty and look like crap, exhaust, springs, axle will be rust. Needs Liners in the back to hide it all.

Excellent presentation and breakdown. I'm in the market for a new truck. Getting rid of my 06 Titan LE. After 222k miles it's time and Ford i think is going to earn my business this time. Nothing wrong with the Titan at all but F150 has gained some needed luxury in the last few years.

I like the new F150, I'm glad Ford finally updated the Tech. I hope a Pano roof is a available with the Lariat trim. I kinda wish there sideview mirrors were bigger and also a dead pedal and I didn't see a tailgate step. If the Lariat trim is like this, I can only wonder how the 2021 Raptor is going to be.
I just bought a fully loaded 2011 f150 lariat super crew cab 100% stock with 100,000 kilometres on it for $15,000 cash. I figure this truck will be worth the same in ten years.
F150 2021 became much more expensive..No it doesn't worth the price...you can get a top Ram limited much more loaded than a lariat...I just did that and it was the best deal I've done...

This gentleman does very good reviews. Was waiting for him to review this truck. If you’re going to spend 50k on a truck this is the way to go. I test drove this truck. Best truck I’ve ever been in. Smooth driving powerful and efficient. Interior is finally nice. Didn’t like the out going F-150. The inside just had too many cheap feeling plastics even on the highest trim levels. This truck still has plastics of course but they are much better. Test drove a 2.7 EC, 3.5 EC, and the 5.0. That 2.7 is no joke.

Joe, you forgot to show how the center arm rest open up on top of the area where the shifter folds down! A nice mini table surface which really does make the interior that much more usable. Great review as always!
Modern trucks come with a lot more tech and power than they did in the past. Sedan sales are also down across the board while full trucks are in high demand. Not to mention inflation of the US dollar.
Back in 2015 I wanted a F-150 changed my mind bought something else. Still like the previous generation but the 2021 is best now seems new vehicles getting pricey better buying it used or toward the end of year when sales start going down. I don't know why companies skyrocketing their vehicles prices though adding more tech features.
I personally would go for the XLT FX4 5.0 with sport appearance package and 302a grouping plus rear sliding window. That priced out about 4-5k less than a similar Lariat. Sure you still miss out on leather and a few other items but the more you can stay under 60k the better.
Nice review brother. Nice truck. They made some really nice improvements. However I have to say the Ram still holds the best truck interior. But when it comes to payload and towing nothing touches the fords numbers.
The max recline option is not even available on the lariat. I just found it funny that even though the seat didn't fully recline he played it off as it did lol
It's a shame that Ford quality has dropped to an all-time low. Over 5, 000 waiting to be fixed due to poor quality control. No more "Quality is Job 1." I will be keeping my 2011 5.0L F-150 for a long time.
Nice update to the 2014 FX4 we've got. A V-8 would be nice, though our EcoBoost v-6 isn't that much of a slouch, I just feel the 8 would last longer under full loads. Thank you, Lori, for the great camera work!
I gotta zonk the fact that there's no head up display. Especially at that level. Dodge does it. Ford makes a great truck, but Dodge has been taking them to task in my opinion.
FYI: This early production F-150 Lariat did not get the folding center console armrest table. That is why I did not show it.

Toyota Camry is $25k. F-150 is $36k minus all the rebates. Not that expensive unless you load it up.

I thought 70K was crazy for a pickup. Then I saw that remote control hideaway shifter. That makes it well worth 70K.

Believe it or not the forward folding armrest is not on these early F-150s.

One thing I like about my 2021 f150 Lariat is how sturdy it felt. I had a 2019 f150 XLT ecoboost and it felt flimsy.

The 2.7 ecoboost has probably been the most reliable of the F150 engines, the second generation 5.0 has had some issues.

Man, when you really think about it, American truck buyers are suckers. These prices are insane.
The prices are getting out of hand.
I just bought a fully loaded 2011 f150 lariat super crew cab 100% stock with 100,000 kilometres on it for $15,000 cash. I figure this truck will be worth the same in ten years.
F150 2021 became much more expensive..No it doesn't worth the price...you can get a top Ram limited much more loaded than a lariat...I just did that and it was the best deal I've done...

@@RaitisRides do you remember that review you did about the limited I commented that you messed up my mind as I was intended to get a 2021 f150... so I ended up getting the ram limited cheaper than the new f150 Lariat..RAM since 2019 are outstanding.. thankfully your reviews are very professional and not biased this is very ,very important for us as a consumers.

If you’re going to spend 50k on a truck this is the way to go. I test drove this truck. Best truck I’ve ever been in. Smooth driving powerful and efficient. Interior is finally nice. Didn’t like the out going F-150. The inside just had too many cheap feeling plastics even on the highest trim levels. This truck still has plastics of course but they are much better. Test drove a 2.7 EC, 3.5 EC, and the 5.0. That 2.7 is no joke.
One of the longest lasting trucks on the road! My 01 is still running like new with 235k miles. The day it dies is the day I'll get a new one.

Joe, you forgot to show how the center arm rest open up on top of the area where the shifter folds down! A nice mini table surface which really does make the interior that much more usable. Great review as always!

Things are changing for sure!
Modern trucks come with a lot more tech and power than they did in the past. Sedan sales are also down across the board while full trucks are in high demand. Not to mention inflation of the US dollar.

Back in 2015 I wanted a F-150 changed my mind bought something else. Still like the previous generation but the 2021 is best now seems new vehicles getting pricey better buying it used or toward the end of year when sales start going down. I don't know why companies skyrocketing their vehicles prices though adding more tech features.

I personally would go for the XLT FX4 5.0 with sport appearance package and 302a grouping plus rear sliding window. That priced out about 4-5k less than a similar Lariat. Sure you still miss out on leather and a few other items but the more you can stay under 60k the better.

Nice review brother. Nice truck. They made some really nice improvements. However I have to say the Ram still holds the best truck interior. But when it comes to payload and towing nothing touches the fords numbers.

The max recline option is not even available on the lariat. I just found it funny that even though the seat didn't fully recline he played it off as it did lol

It's a shame that Ford quality has dropped to an all-time low. Over 5, 000 waiting to be fixed due to poor quality control. No more "Quality is Job 1."

Nice update to the 2014 FX4 we've got. A V-8 would be nice, though our EcoBoost v-6 isn't that much of a slouch, I just feel the 8 would last longer under full loads. Thank you, Lori, for the great camera work!

I gotta zonk the fact that there's no head up display. Especially at that level. Dodge does it. Ford makes a great truck, but Dodge has been taking them to task in my opinion.
