    Hi there,
    Outstanding video, thank you for sharing
    Quick question, do you
    ever use live worms ?
    And do you have the
    convenience of digging your own ?
    It looked like you were
    using a Mepps lure ?
    Panther Martins are great also. Thanks again for always making great videos and please take care
    👍🏻🇺🇸

    • @ADVENTUREISMADE
      @ADVENTUREISMADE  2 роки тому

      Thanks mate! So yeah I have used them before and can normally find them out on trips, but some places don't like the use of live bait for fishing so I prefer just to stick to lures. It was a mepps yeah, I've not tried one of those yet but I've heard about them. I'll have to give them ago. Cheers mate, appreciate it, atvb, Matt 👍🏻

    Bloody hell mate I didn't realise you caught so many! As always, a real pleasure to be out with you pal, your always great company Matt.
    I'll have to keep an eye out for that pine resin too bud, went up great didn't it. Bannock was mint, went well with the "nearly" full English.
    Until the next time matey!

    • @ADVENTUREISMADE
      @ADVENTUREISMADE  2 роки тому +2

      Haha yeah got a decent few, just wish it was a few trout or a decent pike to cook up lol. Thanks mate, same to you and Rick, both top blokes and always a pleasure to get out on a camp with you lads. Pine resin is great mate, sometimes can take awhile to get it lit but once it's warmed up goes really well and burns hot and for a long time. Haha yeah was some breakfast that 🤣🤣 cheers Ant 👍🏻

    This was great Matt. Really enjoyed it! I need to give canoeing another try. I tried it last summer but the paddle was about 3 inches shorter than i am tall. I’m wondering if that had something to do with how awkward it felt. I’m a kayaker so I don’t know if the biomechanics are just weird gor me or if i need a shorter paddle. I need to try it again. Great to see you out there again and you take care of yourself. NQU

    • @ADVENTUREISMADE
      @ADVENTUREISMADE  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks mate 🙌🏻 so yeah generally the paddle length should be from the floor to your chin or there abouts. Its a great way to get out, I love being out on the water 👌🏻 cheers buddy, appreciate it as always - Matt 👍🏻

      @@ADVENTUREISMADE yeah fair one mate 😂 What's the deal with perch, are they inedible or something? Everytime I see people catch them, they release. Or we not allowed to eat them in UK?

    • @ADVENTUREISMADE
      @ADVENTUREISMADE  2 роки тому

      @@Woodsman_wildcamper no mate they are edible too, just generally they are too small to make it worthwhile cooking them. Ill definitely give it ago one time tho 👍🏻 I believe they were a popular eating fish back in the day 😁

      @@Woodsman_wildcamper In England you have to catch and release all fish, unless u have paid to keep at a fishery. not sure about scotland

    • @Woodsman_wildcamper
      @Woodsman_wildcamper 2 роки тому +1

      @@steveovery3127 I'm not to sure either, I know there are designated places where you must have a permit to fish. Some of the lochs I've visited in Scotland don't have any signage saying you cannot fish, so I'm assuming you can, and that it's up to you to catch and release, or keep your catch. I need to have a proper look into it 👍
