3:10 Did anyone else notice that's morse code for SOS (3 dots, 3 dashes, 3 dots) in the score when Blaster sends the distress call?
I'll admit that I never noticed that before, but now that you mention it, that motif definitely does sound like it was influenced by the morse code SOS. Very cool observation!

I love the lead riff insertion at 2:29. It sounds so triumphant, like breaking free from gravity... which is of course exactly what happens in that scene. 🙂 Vince Di Cola is a sorely underrated genius.

Technically he was. Metroplex is inside the core of Autobot City, giving it the ability to transform. It's basically like an armoured shell/exo suit that he wears. You can even see some of his weaponry in the film.

I actually don't like doing fade-outs, however, that is how the original song ends and I was wanting to keep it as close as I could to the actual recording.

A lot of my leg sleeve is from hip to ankle of different scenes from this film. Hearing your covers of his stuff is awesome. I remember getting the soundtrack back when the film came out.

I've wanted to do this in my band, along with other tunes from the movie, for years. I wanted to Djent this up on 8 strings as its groove driven as f*ck with all the funky slap bass as well. I'm a drummer, play in metal bands and life long Transformers fan, so you have struck a chord with me here...literally ha ha. I really love these tracks that you have done!!! Superb work and much respect.

this fighting scene is how I see the uac base of phobos when the demons came in in classic Doom, really if they ever made an animated movie about Doom they should do it like this
John Stalvern waited. The lights above him blinked and sparked out of the air. There were demons in the base. He didn't see them, but had expected them, now for years. His warnings to Cernel Joson were not listenend to and now it was too late. Far too late for now, anyway.
John was a space marine for fourteen years. When he was young he watched the spaceships and he said to dad "I want to be on the ships, daddy."
Dad said "NO! YOU WILL BE KILL BY DEMONS!"
There was a time when he believed him. Then as he got oldered he stopped. But now in the space station base of the UAC he knew there were demons.
"This is Joson," the radio crackered. "You must fight the demons!"
So John gotted his palsma rifle and blew up the wall.
"HE GOING TO KILL US," said the demons!
"I will shoot at him," said the Cyberdemon and he fired the rocket missiles. John plasmaed at him and tried to blew him up. But then the ceiling fell and they were trapped and not able to kill.
"No! I must kill the demons," he shouted!
The radio said "No, John. You are the demons."
And then, John was a Zombie.
