Fantastic work..always loved Reanimated's stuff so I'm glad to hear he mentored you. Love that you corrected the Cassettes animation errors but just wondering why the choice to include the flying Ironhide?
I love that you included the animation error with Ironhide flying above Autobot city with the Decepticons (even though he was already killed). Those little nuances add to the greatness of this video. I’m floored by it.
Maybe he somehow survived getting shot in the head by megatrons fusion cannon and joined the decepticons for revenge after Optimus ate the last of the energon Italian subs. Of course he died after Optimus shot him while saying “I didn’t even have lunch yet you whiny ass.”
@@carlosmunoz632 for some reason I read that as "Shockwave and 'Putin' " lol? Although it would be totally fucking awesome if that sick son of a bitch got massacred. The guys a complete dick. Shockwave on the other hand, loyal as shit.
I don’t know what I’m more impressed by: the fact you stop-motioned/rotoscoped the whole thing, or that you own every screen-accurate MP and FansToys bot! There are a few of those sitting on my shelf, too! Fantastic work!
This is superb. The Blaster Roundhouse Kick is the highlight for me. The whole thing is practically frame by frame to the Movie. Super impressive to all involved in this project.
Beautiful and amazing work! Blur's "blur" and Starscream's stretch as he tries to free himself from one of Autobot City's closing doors are some great animation work! I also marveled at how clean and seamlessly you integrated the movie animation elements with your stop-motion animation. 👏👏👏😁👍
Anyone else notice how he did the deliberate error with reflector and put ironhide in when you see the attack from the air after Kup and hot rod deal with the insecticons, brilliant touch love it
This had me in tears. I felt like the kid I was when the movie was released back in 86 when I was in the fifth grade! The attention to detail was amazing!
This is damn impressive, really want to see a remake of the movie in this manner or really and transformer movie done in stop motion to this quality. Never felt unnatural to watch and really added its own independent artistic value even with the basis of the battle. Nothing by high praise.
Why does this look even better than the original? I almost wanna see the whole movie animated like this, complete with the scenery, but I don’t wanna drive you crazy
It's one thing to splice up shots, make masks, sync the voices, etc.....but then you go and add in the stop-motion aspect. This is unreal. SOO much work goes into something like this. I hope they don't ding you for copyright. This is epic and needs to be worth your time.
Thank you so much for this!!! Really great work! I can't even imagine the amount of effort needed. Very talented with the animation, compositing, and visual effects. Hard not to tear up a little watching this as it brings me back to my childhood. They say the cartoons were made to sell toys but this stop motion production takes it to a whole new level! I hope you can make more of these because they are sooooo awesome!!
I watched this in theaters when it first came out and watched it so many times on VHS. These scenes are burned into my brain and seeing it recreated and rotoscoped is amazing. Massive thumbs up 👍
My hats off to you sir. This is an amazing recreation of the Autobot City battle from the movie using the toys in place of their animated counterparts.👍
Holy shit, I wish I saw this sooner, better late than never though! You made a beefy, more on the stiff side for articulation MP Magnus look so good. That scene when he starts delegating order gives me chills every time, it looks so good!!! Absolutely amazing job with this man!
Amazing. I imagine the Springer and Arcee run with Starscream pursuiing was a nightmare to animate; however, Soundwave walking to the ledge to release his minions looked very natural. Well done!
That was... wow. Just...wow. I remember seeing this movie in the theater (and about 4,000 times on VHS, DVD, and bluray since) and this brought it ALL back! The detail here... for example, Springer's foot falls running through the tunnel as it's transforming... Thank you. A simple, humble... thank you. ~Chris
Good stuff, mate. As someone born in the early 80s, I'm honestly surprised I lived long enough to see the toys become advanced enough for something like this to even be possible. Back then most transformers had the possibility of a brick. 😂🤣
I've probably watched the Transformers movie 500 times in my life (I was ridiculously into TF as a kid) and this is so spot on it's unbelievable. Excellent job!
Omg this is too damn good. Thank you ! Brings back good memories! And you even made them proportional in size! And you got so much movement out of the articulation to make it look just right. I remember most toys were very limited in points of articulation, so I’m thinking maybe you use some of the newer toys?
I had a Takara Soundwave toys and this is how I play with them when I was a kid. Reenacting Transformers episodes. This animatio is the true purposes of the toys. Thumbs up!
I just want to say these videos were inspired by Masterpiece Reanimated. I would say he is the true GOAT. I would like to thank him for mentoring me.
@MasterpieceReAnimated Here! Here! The GOAT! 🔥🔥🔥
Yeah! he helped me through the intro as well. absolutely stellar guy
Great job now just make the whole film XD
Maybe you and reanimated can take turns making scenes from the movie and then combine them to complete it.
Fantastic work..always loved Reanimated's stuff so I'm glad to hear he mentored you. Love that you corrected the Cassettes animation errors but just wondering why the choice to include the flying Ironhide?

It’s not iron hide. It’s reflector
Anyone who is familiar with the original sequence knows the incredible accuracy of this remake. I take my hat off to you!
Incredible work after all these years I just noticed that the Decepticon tapes went for Perceptors head in an attempt to possibly decapitate him.

Decepticons Vs autobot
I am astonished that some of the scenes were able to blend stop motion and the actual animation from the movie together so well.
Incredible!! The amount of painstaking detail is truly impressive.
Exactly... truly epic
I've watched the movie millions of times.. and the accuracy of this stop motion is unbelievable.. fascinating work of art..
Loving the blend between stop motion and actual footage, this looks great.
Can't wait to see what you do from here
Coronation Starscream? This is bad comedy!
This is superb.
The Blaster Roundhouse Kick is the highlight for me.

Super impressive to all involved in this project.
Most amazing stop motion ever made. Period

This makes me want to make an entire gritty, dark, action oriented, and story driven show in Stop Motion.
That sounds sick ngl

The 1986 movie is the best Transformers movie to date!!! Hell, even this stop-action version is better than any of the live action movies.
Very true. It's sad what those other movies brought to the table. Not even remotely close to actual Transformers.
Agreed!

Let me know yall thoughts on TF One. Seen the early screening here, it’s up there with ‘86.

Just stumbled across this and I don't know why it took me so long to find it. Amazing work here!
Never in my life did I think I’d see this scene done in stop motion like this. Absolutely fantastic
THANK YOU SO MUCH for making this. I know this took a long time, but so many of us deeply appreciate this from a movie we love.
The amount of passion in this is evident from the first shot of Perceptor. Good stuff.
Now this is the high quality entertainment I come to youtube for.
The fact that someone took the time and care to reenact this just proves why Transformers: The Movie is forever goated.
This was incredible. I'd pay to watch the whole movie like this.
Wow! I absolutely have no words to say! You need a stop motion award for your work! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love how it uses the movie’s animation mixed with stop motion! Really gives it an unique look to it
This brings me so much joy from the original movie! Thank you so much for making this!
Astounding! Utterly astounding!
I have said it before, I say it again, this is Impressive, most Impressive, and Fantasic, absolutley Fantastic. Geronimo....

This is unbelievably amazing. I can’t imagine how long this took. Would love to see a “director’s cut” with cut scenes added back in.

This is outstanding, love seeing all these classic MP's brought to life! Also, corrected several animation errors too 😁
One word.....Wow!!!!
If they were thinking of doing a reboot of this film, this would be it! The Animations of the transformations are well executed.
This was absolutely incredible!
It's also nice to be able to see all the cassette bots in the correct colors
Yes, in the movie the colors were not consistent. It felt good to fix that.
Pure excellence. Legit, there is no reason for this to be this well executed.
Look out and Shout! Because damn, this is very impressive! Thank you, for doing Blaster and his crew, Rewind, Eject, Ramhorn, and Steeljaw.

I just have one things to say, that was amazing. Still by far the best transformers movie and cartoon movie of all time. You help make it even better.
I’ve watched this movie 100x, really impressed at how true to the source you captured the animation frames.
When things like this are done by a true fan, it definitely shows. Absolutely awesome
This is amazing, can't imagine how much effort went into this. Perfectly captured the 86 feel.
Nice work!
Two years later and I can't stop watching this awesome work
Deserves 1M+ views. Gorgeous. Really appreciate the work the stop motion artists bring to this fandom.
Dam that good I love your remake of this movie 🎥 part..😅
I was so hoping this would make it to Devastator forming. I'd love to see what you'd do with that. This was just unbelievable.
As someone who’s seen this film well over 100 times from when I was a kid till my mid 30s this is such a great take on it !
omg the accuracy to the original!!

Yes the old toys were like brick.
That was amazing! The blending of the figures with the original animation was top notch 👍
Wow this must be a lot of work and alot of time looks awesome i love it. Thank you very much for sharing it im very impressed :-)

The attention to detail in this short film is amazing. Even Shrapnel’s animation flaw (missing horn) is captured in this masterpiece.
1:30 If I had made this, I would have replaced Starscream with Skywarp in this scene, because he was the stupid one.

Every. Single. Frame.
