I own this car in a mint 2007 model.. I absolutely love it and will never sell it ..guaranteed a classic one day

Since Lexus came out to the public, some English media had something negative to say about them. Most of the Jaguar, BMW and Mercedes from 2001 have depreciated so badly or wound up in a breaker's yard to patch up their siblings limping on the roads. Subscribed :D
Love mine.. I dont care what anyone else says, its NOT a sports car, it's a weekend honey let's go and have fun car. Any gentlemen or someone with a bit of class should not think on it, DO IT!

I own a 2005 and Love it.! I live in California and its a great car to cruise quietly up the coast. Timeless and classic!

Mine with a sorted suspension is a lot of fun to drive, creamy power train, plenty of get up and go.
A lighter roof? You realise it’s aluminium from factory. Maybe titanium?
What is wrong with your camera lens? Did you smear oil/grease all over it?
I feel like a Superhero and Luxurious, most people mistake my car for new, so I'm positive my car is ahead of it's time, damn sure drives new 💪🤙😁
How can you say the roof is heavy where in fact it is made out of aluminum, also how can you says that this car were made in the wrong generation where in fact a lot of people (including me) says that this car is a timeless car which means it was made not only for past generations, this generations but also to the future generations.
Really impressed with the thoroughness and your deep insight in this review!...its Different than most reviewers and im sure its becuz ur a genuine automotive enthusiast ....Having just test driven a 2005 sc430 and stomping on it, I loved ur description of it as "accelerating like a locomotive" ...that Very accurately describes it... the tranny though is slow to respond and downshift but once it does, there is alot of acceleration for sure... sports car? no not at all
the rear seats are so you do not pay 2 seater insurance rates ,the rear head rests also hide the roll bars ... the engine is aluminum hand assembled by an expert,i love my early sc with no sat nav. it has 65th klms i will never sell it , funny what that big ape clarkson says ,as i never hear owners complain, its not slow but you have to press the throttle hard , almost like it resists being driven like a hooligan... lexus do not want that tire shredding image
Lmao!!! So much for so called “ reviews”: I own the SC430 , I have a full Borla system and Lexani wheels. Car is pearl white with the saddle leather interior and I can’t tell you how many times a day I’m out and get not only oohs and ahhhs but dealership reps coming up to me wanting to buy it on spot…. These cars are highly sought after and 2002 models are selling for damn near 20 k on Market Place etc…. In Power Mode these cars rocket and inside you have more amenities than most Bentleys
so true! you Do have Really step Hard on it to wake it up , but when you do, it moves out Fast!

I will admit that it is a very boring car to drive, and feels like a boat, especially in the first day of driving it. BUT, it's also the best car ever made outside of that. I've found that the SC430 has taken all of the fun out of driving, almost completely, but its quality and sheer beauty are second to none, especially in the price range of what they're being sold for nowadays.

superb video. i've acquired an 02 pearl white sc430 about a year ago and have had mixed feelings on it up until recently. its uniqueness, classy-yet-sporty design, and overall build quality have made me grow to love this car.

~~ Indeed...SC 430s with my silver brown spec have become quite desirable and now cost thousands more than I paid for mine...
I fitted good quality gas shock absorbers to mine and it transformed the car, ride, steering and handling. It is a great car, comfortable and economical on long trips. I love the creamy smooth power train. Clarkson is a publicity seeking egomaniac. I wonder how worn the suspension was on the test car. The roof is Aluminium the motor is all alloy and the weight distribution is very close to 50 50 front and rear.
Which gas shocks did you use? I have a 2004 and disappointed in the ride.

show me a 20 yr old merc , bmw ,ferrari or Porsche , where the interior is mint, and everything still works,with no rust
