I've had pretty good luck with Sukin products so far, but I'll totally admit that it was the brands claims that sucked me in. I haven't heard a lot about A'Kin, which seem to have a similar jam as Sukin. Anyway! great video! You've reignited my search for a good SPF that won't make me look like a greasy lake monster during summer!
+Rebekah etc etc Thanks, hun, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! 😊 I hiiighly recommend checking out the Asian sunscreen videos on Gothamista's channel -- she reviews several in each of them and really knows her stuff regarding the ingredients and what makes an effective & comfortable sunscreen ☺ I tried that Etude House sunscreen on her recommendation -- it's just a shame my skin is too dry for it 😧 xox
Just as a more general skincare question, have you ever tried anything from the essano rosehip line? NZ and vegan. I picked up the toner in coles because it was cheap and accessible and my skin was desperate - its not quite on the level of the royal honey toner but for me it comes pretty dang close. I wanna go get the moisturiser soon because the "YesTo cucumber daily calming moisturiser" is not good. Its not calming at all. Even if I've gone a number of days without using my BHA that motherfucker burns. Oh and for people with oily/combo don't waste your time with those $5 casuelle mud masks you see in chemists. Even the oily targeted ones leave a residue that is not hydrating, difficult to remove and has caused me breakouts.
+Max Thanks for the warning about those masks -- I've heard they're pretty bad 😓 Unfortunately, my skin reacts terribly to rosehip oil 😧 Like, epic rash & breakouts. It's pretty dramatic, lol. Because of that, I haven't really looked into the Essano range, but I do know Mike's mum absolutely loves it 😊 I can certainly do a review video talking through the ingredients pros and cons of each product, if you like? It would be more of a scientific, researched review than a personal take.
+Chelle S Yeah, it's such a shame 😧 They're such a wonderfully eco-conscious, vegan brand and I'd love to support them, but any product of theirs I've tried has irritated my skin.
You looking so gorgeous ,,your hair cut and color is So beautiful ❤❤#xoxo
your hair color and cut are super cute!
+Poprawx Beauty Nawww, thank you! 😘

I have a similar response to sukin. I like the smell of their products but totally not worth the irritation.

Chronically Fabulous yup. Nature's quest is much more gentle. Mokosh is divine. Melrose is pretty awesome too. These are my go to brands
