- Dodge has unveiled its newest special-edition model, the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170, at the Dodge Last Call Powered by Roadkill Nights Vegas festival in Las Vegas. The Demon 170 is the fastest and most powerful muscle car ever produced by Dodge, featuring a 1,025-horsepower engine that can reach 60 mph in just 1.66 seconds and has the highest G-force acceleration of any production car at 2.004 gs. The vehicle is also the first factory production car to run the quarter-mile under nine seconds with a National Hot Rod Association (NHRA)-certified 8.91-second ET at 151.17 mph. The Demon 170 is delivered with red key fobs and unleashes horsepower levels based on sensing the percentage of ethanol fuel content. According to Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand CEO, the Demon 170 is "the world’s first sustainable-energy, eight-second, factory-production, street-legal muscle car," and celebrates the end of the HEMI muscle-car era.

@@keithsada1380 Depending on the model you couldn't get one even if you wanted to. That's ok for most people who don't care about more driving engagement and just want to go faster. It is a matter of taste. Personally I prefer AT only for boring drives, specially with ACC.

The thing is that im pretty sure that when they switch to ev their sales will go down (since many muscle car owners dont like evs) and they will start to loose money therefore i think that they will go to synthetic fuels and hydrogen
