Tuned into this today as I heard Shakey talking about it on BSB. I'm sorry I've missed it for all these months, but I'm delighted to say I'm now fully subscribed! 😉👍🏻 Your reviews of both vehicles were excellent; fun, informative and engaging. Shakey needs to do more of this kind of thing; he's knowledge, has a great sense of humour and he's a natural in front of the camera. Ariels' Atom and Ace are two extraordinary pieces of engineering, but they're also incredibly beautiful. If I had a few grand kicking about, it would be, 'Somerset, here I come!'
Welcome aboard TLBS! Glad you enjoyed the episode. Shakey's got a ton of ideas for two wheeled content on the channel, which we hope car and die-hard bike fanatics will appreciate.
Halfway through the video and had to stop to comment just how much I like it. Love seeing shakey on a bike, but the combination of both of you just being totally natural, it feels unscripted, it feels honestly made, I honestly think it’s superb work. Well done JS and SB, maybe we can see more content from you as a pair going forwards?
Sorry. But I have to agree too. There IS a good chemistry between these 2 characters; and the larrikin that exists in Shakey Byrne comes out in a good manner for TV. Thankfully, you don’t use those on/off flickering montages that seem to be so prevalent and beloved of UK car shows. Great work and I’m looking forward to more. Another instant subscriber.
Absolutely EPIC! Top work lads and Chops, just brill work. I’d love to see Triumph and maybe any other electric bikes maybe? Tested against other electric cars possibly? Dunno, but it was a great format, well done.
Sexy ladders and weapons of mass distraction. What a debut to have for Shane! Loved the 0-60 test, noticed the speedometer was blacked out 😉😂 "of course we stuck to the speed limit officer" Watching you two was like seeing an old pal down the local pub, chatting about the things you love and adore! Just bundles of enthusiasm which is so infectious! Quality viewing as always 🙌
It’s a match made in automotive heaven , what a great start to hopefully many more Byrne outs , well done Jonny on taking the risk on branching out , Shane is a great addition to TLBS.👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Great to have you back on two wheels Shakey. As someone who bought the old Fast Bike mags and VHS you still had that crazy laugh as you were doing the stuff that us mere mortals could only dream of. Now how about those 4th mingers, next episode eh?
Great first episode, setting up for a really entertaining. I'd like to see a good balance of high-end performance bikes and more obtainable, everyday bikes, and some more bike vs car videos will definitely be good to sprinkle in too.
What a pairing you two make. This has to be the best all round motoring show on TV, UA-cam or any delivery channel. Well done everyone involved in producing this. I look forward to more like this.
Welcome back Shakey!! So so good to see him back on a bike, ripping it in a car & generally reliving the old fastbikes style road testing. Please keep this going guys ✊🏻
Great to see Shakey back on a bike. I know he may not be able to race but he has alot of knowledge and people want to listen to him. Hope to see more videos. Good effort Jonny👍
Shakey in hooligan mode!!! Sticking to two wheels here but can Shakey please recreate the hotel to restaraunt scooter wheelie and if he can draft Jamie Whitham in to do the same with his R1 test ride from many moons ago, that would be a hoot. Not sure how well they would go down today lol...and apologies again Shane for calling our GSD Kiyo!!! 🤣
Once again a great LBS video, review(s) and also, insight into a great little company. Great to see Shakey on board and hope it's the first of many more as 'Byrne Out' is a winner for me, Shakey always comes over as super-personable and someone you want to listen to. Great also to see, for me anyway, was that Aerial has an identity that carries over from the car to the bike...you look at the car and it tells you it's an Aerial and it's the same with the bike...it can only be an Aerial. Top job as always by the LBS Team 👍👍
Jonny and Shaky, sounds like a comedy team at a carnival. this was a very fun review of two fantastic vehicles! Great job and Shakey is a fantastic addition to your team!
Superb video. Smiling all the way through. Been subscribed to the channel a while now, and always look forward to the new videos. Great move bringing the legendary Shakey on board. Obviously enjoys 4 wheels as much as two. Keep it up guys 😁
wooohoooo! great video from both of you. Just recently got back on a bike after 16 years. I am 76 years old now and I think I know how you felt Shakey.
I also had to stop halfway through the vid and say that THIS BODES VERY WELL! Awesome to have Skakey on board - if there's a person I'm going to listen to about motorbikes - it's him. Top work team. And aren't those bikes (and cars!) gorgeous ;-)
That was really good to watch, but then that's not a surprise. And like Shakey (and others) I'm getting back into riding after some "life-changing injuries", so it's good to see the message that you can do it and overcome.
Awesome video. It is not very common, at all, to have a legendary bike racer doing reviews of anything. Add to that on the Late Brake Show!! I hope to see more from Mr. Byrne and the Byrne Out segments. I love cars and ride bukes, no garage at the moment. I've been riding since a young man and have owned many bikes, ridden many more that weren't mine and have built and owned 40+ cars and beater cars. I started flipping cars, buying junk and rebuilding them, as a teenager in the '80's. I bought mostly used bikes and fixed them up or modified them, starting in the 90's, after leaving home (Mom would allow me to own a bike, one of the reasons I bolted at 17!). So, Jonny, you now have brought my two favorite things together. The two of you seem like old friends, which is nice. Shakey's knowledge of bikes and riding is gonna be a GREAT addition to the Late Brake Show.
I stared following Shakey from his first day on Fast Bikes, total legend! It’s great to see him back on a bike and back being a journo! He once did a wheelie challenge in France on a scooter, be great to see that recreated, but carefully…
You’ve done it again Johnny, absolutely brilliant. Shakey is a natural, mind I enjoy his punditry on Eurosport BSB coverage. Keep up this great content.
Absolutely epic to have got shakey. I remember when he did his magazine work many moons ago . And some9ne who will really thrash a bike not just pop along for pictures outstanding
I never thought the late late show would go in this direction, alavert this is possibly only so good because of the chemistry!! And the presenting skills.
Great video as always. Really good to see you and Shakey together. Would love to see a video review of my dream bike - Aprillia Tuono Factory. Thanks for the excellent content as usual. Much appreciated.
Great video! First time I've seen a video of an Ace... Funnily enough, I've heard a VFR1200 in real life, this sounds better somehow. Might be down to the microphone too, but god isn't this a masterpiece of a bike!
Bloody Fantastic episode.... 10/10 well done to you both, Shakey is a natural and great to listen to, loads more stories to come I think (If you can broadcast them) ...... How about 1 or 2 retro bikes... Maybe a Yam RD 350 or CB 750.....Are our memories of them true?? :-)))
Brilliant to have the two of you making content like this. I'd like to see Shakey join Jonny on a few car reviews too. Keep up the excellent work. Thank you.
Well done gents, I really enjoyed it. You both do well together. I'm hoping for a lot more bike content (maybe a bit more general, this was very much niche but fine). I do think this kind of bike is more art then riding really but I agree that for the price it does look more "exotic" then comparable bikes. The Atom is very special, really a track and summer beast.
That's a great video shaky was a great addition excellent driver shaky was in the atom when he drifited it around and then put his foot down look forward to the next one
Wow what a start to introduce yourself shackey. Nice and natural and relaxed in front of the camera. It's the first time I've seen someone give the ace some beans 👊.
I have watched most of your vids Jonny first time i have seen you looking distinctly worried!! thought your breakfast was about to decorate the carbon fibre dash - also a biker - none of the you tube bike reviewers come close to casually hitting the rev limiter and launching off like Shakey still grinning now - i recall many years back a mate of mine that did some BSB sponsorship doing a two up lap of Brands Hatch with Shakey but could be wrong - keep doing what you doing - great presenting both of you
I have had the privilege of driving an Ariel Atom in Chobham proving ground on a driving experience and i can tell you forget your Lambo"s , Ferrari"s Posrche"s etc The Ariel Atom is totally insane you just can not change gear fast enough salute Jhonny for the great content !
Monster Jazz & Shakey making Jonny tremble.... goes to show these two are capable & able in trusting each other with ideas, knowledge & having fun on 2 & 4 wheels... nice discovery for me, thx a ton, people✌️🤙👍☀️
Love the Jazz comments so had to send these to a friend who has one :) Great video, great new dynamic. Hilarious riding/driving and hope and makes me miss my bike just a little. Always been a fan of the Girder front Ace ever since i saw it launch at the NEC many years back. As for what next? Who cares, just more of it
Gentlemen, really great vid, thanks for the entertainment. Shakey is a natural in front of the camera, great delivery Sir, congrats and keep bouncing those valves. I think you guys need to take a Nomad out on Salisbury plain with some Foxhounds snatch armoured vehicles and then around Thruxton with some bikes when the weather improves.
Love it. Got my atom4 350bhp last week and it's everything as good as you guys express. I'm a retired biker of super fast rockets. Don't think I'll ever get back on 2 wheels again but tell you what the atom4 is every bit as exhilarating as my 200bhp bikes were.
Tuned into this today as I heard Shakey talking about it on BSB. I'm sorry I've missed it for all these months, but I'm delighted to say I'm now fully subscribed! 😉👍🏻

Yeah Shakey is a good addition 👍🏽
Well said, I was just thinking this is epic. Great stuff
Totally agree, fantastic stuff all round!
Sorry.
But I have to agree too.

What the hell is a ladder???? UK language at its best!

I’d absolutely love seeing Shakey on some classic motor bikes! Maybe even antique. Great episode excited for more.
What a pairing you two make. This has to be the best all round motoring show on TV, UA-cam or any delivery channel. Well done everyone involved in producing this. I look forward to more like this.
Many thanks Steve.

The two of you work really well together. A great professional episode, and nice to see some bike action at last!!! Do more like this. 🙂
Big fan of this channel & Shakey is an excellent addition. Keep it up!
Damn, for him being such a massive legend, he is so down to earth, such a humble and genuine guy! Love him!
Thank you both for yet another fresh, new dimension to The Late Brake Show. Ultimate respect to Shakey - a legend, giving us his thoughts and wisdom 👌
Once again a great LBS video, review(s) and also, insight into a great little company.

I'd watch Shakey launching different bikes for hours! What a hero on the limiter 😁
Haha Jonnys face pulling down on the harnesses with Shakey giving it the beans ALLLLL the way up to 60mph! 😉 - loved it! Keep it up guys!
60.... 😶
Loving a bit of bike content lately, Shakey and Jonny make a good team !
The first time for a long, long time I’ve watched a vid all the way through, from start to finish…great job

Shakey - I've not ridden for years.
5 mins later - lights up the rear
Excellent stuff 👍
That was really good to watch, but then that's not a surprise. And like Shakey (and others) I'm getting back into riding after some "life-changing injuries", so it's good to see the message that you can do it and overcome.

You’ve done it again Johnny, absolutely brilliant. Shakey is a natural, mind I enjoy his punditry on Eurosport BSB coverage. Keep up this great content.
Awesome new series, love it. Watching while teaching myself to TIG weld so that I can make mad stuff like this myself one day
He wasn't shy at the crossroads! Good man!!

Excellent balance of presentation. More of it chaps!
Two legends having fun, I will be smiling all day 👍👌
Another tremendous episode. Loved the bike and the car tests intertwined. Also liked shakeys burn outs. Efffffing brilliant!
Great video! First time I've seen a video of an Ace... Funnily enough, I've heard a VFR1200 in real life, this sounds better somehow. Might be down to the microphone too, but god isn't this a masterpiece of a bike!
Awesome to see and hear Shakey reviewing what I’ve always thought of as a fantastic bike.
Please do some more collaborations - this was great to watch - especially the bikes - gorgeous !!
Not that I needed another reason to sing the praises of Shakey, but awesome to see him back reviewing bikes after what, nearly 20 years??
Now with shakey on board by far the best motoring channel 🤛🤛👍❤️❤️
👊🏻
Enjoyed that lads. Looking forward to Shakey's next episode now!
Big Shakey fan and have subscribed to see more. You two work really well together. Look forward to warmer test's!

The way that Atom got pushed was so exciting! Bravo ...
Love the content covering these small independent companies 👍
Just brilliant! Well done Shakey. How about some nostalgia - Royal Enfield vs Morgan
Great video, thanks for making it!
Well done gents, I really enjoyed it. You both do well together.

Shakey - you did great in front of the camera. Jonny makes it look easier than it is!
Love the idea of bringing bikes on to the channel and what a guy you've got to do it . Brilliant 👏
Great video and Shakey is a great addition to the channel. Who needs TV!
I remember Shakey at Fastbikes - and he’s back!!!!
Wow what a start to introduce yourself shackey. Nice and natural and relaxed in front of the camera. It's the first time I've seen someone give the ace some beans 👊.
Amazing to see Shakey, amazing job, this channel has just become my favourite ! 👍🏻

Paul, much appreciated your comment. Thank you for taking time to send this.
Great to see an enthusiast coming back from injury and sounding like this! Interesting bike too.

Stunning representation of the newest Ariel lineup.. job well done gentlemen..

Thanks for this polished episode with a great duo and brilliant editing.
Pandemic spec windshield lol. Great episode guy's very interested in more from this series.
Love the Jazz comments so had to send these to a friend who has one :)

Congrats. You bought a four wheeled firework.

Shakey is a natural presenter, you two together make a great programme - more please!
Oh ok then…
Hahaha "I've not ridden a bike in years! Baaaababbababababbabaaaaaaaaa. Yep the traction control is definitely off!" what a legend!
Brilliant episode Jonnie (as usual), you and Shakey were great together. More of that please 👏👍
Awesome video, thank you 👍🏻 👏🏻
Great to have Shakey on the show, more please
My Ariel had girder forks, 1937 VG500 twin-port, loved that bike.....
