Hi you are really amazing on the different characters you do and the calming effect. I'm not a big technology guy but love UA-cam. More for the music lol. But I came across this ASMR stuff and got hooked. It clicked on some stuff as a kid on certain noises that gave me the calm and sleepy feeling. One big one was being in the back seat on a family road trip and hearing the car tires hitting the line's in the road at high speed. Put me out cold lol. Well I did get into a few ASMR channels but you are definitely a Queen 👑 at it and always improving. Thankyou! Once in middle school the mean/popular girl gave me a makeover in the library, I have no idea if she made me look bad or not (as I had no experience in makeup) but I do remember feeling paranoid and washing it off as soon as she left. Anyways, the vibes this gives is pretty spot on lol.
This reminded me of when I was in kindergarten. This boy in my grade would sit behind me on the carpet during story time and just play with my hair. Didn’t bother me at all and I found it tingly even though I didn’t know what ASMR was yet. I asked him why he did it though and he said it was because he was bored😂😂😂 he was a nice guy though I hope he’s doing well.
I had the same thing! A girl in my kindergarten class loved playing with my hair because it was the closest to her hair type (mines curly, hers was coily). She’d braid my hair so well that it held up without ties. That’s saying something since my hair is thick, but fine, so it’s got a lot of volume and is slippery. Miracle hands that made logic defying braids.

I actually really appreciate the “mmh, childish” comment. As someone who’s in the older bracket of gen Z, we were really trying to act grown up in middle school. I remember the girls wearing really promiscuous clothing, all in attempt to seem “grown.” It’s truly sad. We should really give our younger generations more support.

There was another UA-camr talking about this, and she brought up a good point: before, there were a lot of clothing stores specifically for preteens. I remember Justice, Rave Girl, GapKids, etc. which were specifically for tweens. All of those stores closed or were bought by another company (Justice is now a Walmart brand, and Rave closed in 2006). Our local Children's Place was closed yesterday.
i've always had extra long hair, so i've often had classmates braid me and me braiding them back! i remember one time in Elementary school a random girl told me i should cut it cuz it made me look like a old school latina church lady, it made me feel super insecure but then a meanly nice girl like the video told her to shut up and to being jealous just because her hair was thin and short. why was the back tracing and tickling so ubiquitous back in middle school? whenever my friends and i had sleepovers, we’d all lay next to each other and take turns tracing each others backs, rolling over to the other side every couple of minutes so whoever was on the ends got to have their backs tickled too. the middle spot was a coveted place to be since you got your back traced the whole time! 😂 we’d do this shit until we finally passed out. (although it was common for a friend to jolt you back to consciousness if they hadn’t gotten sleepy enough yet and still wanted you to tickle their back!)

This video just unlocked a memory in primary school. None of the girls really liked me in primary school cause I was the weird kid (I actually can't recall how I got that title, guess they just needed one lol). We had a thing every friday called golden hour. We would get bring our own toys, books or DS to play with others our by ourseleves. There was a kid in my class kind of like that a few years ago. Hated everyone, a total bully and refused to talk to anybody they didn't have to. They got sat next to me in the seating plan the one day and we found out we had a lot of things in common. We're really good friends, even to this day

I’m using my husbands account so I get the name may seem weird lol. I was always the weird Pentecostal girl growing up that wasn’t aloud to cut my hair, so I had hair past my waste since 4th grade & this was the one perk I loved about it…every girl who sat behind me wanted to play with my hair! I LOVED it 😂. I’d literally pick a seat behind any girl I could bc I knew at some point they’d feel comfortable enough to do this. From grade school to high school it was one of the few things I loved about my hair.

I had a friend who would do things like this which made me feel nice but the next day or even later the same day she would be so mean and the worst friend. I stayed friends with her for 6 years, dated her (big big mistake but it set me free of her completely) then as an adult 3 years later almost fell into the same trap with her again. If you're in school and know girls like this or have a friend like this; run. They will drain all your confidence out of you and alienate you from everyone else. Otherwise for asmr this is tingly. Is it because I'm finding comfort in the trauma? who knows but its relaxing me well.

This reminded me of when I was in kindergarten. This boy in my grade would sit behind me on the carpet during story time and just play with my hair. Didn’t bother me at all and I found it tingly even though I didn’t know what ASMR was yet. I asked him why he did it though and he said it was because he was bored😂😂😂 he was a nice guy though I hope he’s doing well.

I had the same thing! A girl in my kindergarten class loved playing with my hair because it was the closest to her hair type (mines curly, hers was coily). She’d braid my hair so well that it held up without ties. That’s saying something since my hair is thick, but fine, so it’s got a lot of volume and is slippery. Miracle hands that made logic defying braids.

There was another UA-camr talking about this, and she brought up a good point: before, there were a lot of clothing stores specifically for preteens. I remember Justice, Rave Girl, GapKids, etc. which were specifically for tweens. All of those stores closed or were bought by another company (Justice is now a Walmart brand, and Rave closed in 2006). Our local Children's Place was closed yesterday.

why was the back tracing and tickling so ubiquitous back in middle school? whenever my friends and i had sleepovers, we’d all lay next to each other and take turns tracing each others backs, rolling over to the other side every couple of minutes so whoever was on the ends got to have their backs tickled too. the middle spot was a coveted place to be since you got your back traced the whole time! 😂 we’d do this shit until we finally passed out. (although it was common for a friend to jolt you back to consciousness if they hadn’t gotten sleepy enough yet and still wanted you to tickle their back!)

This video just unlocked a memory in primary school. None of the girls really liked me in primary school cause I was the weird kid (I actually can't recall how I got that title, guess they just needed one lol).
We had a thing every friday called golden hour. We would get bring our own toys, books or DS to play with others our by ourseleves. I was always the weird Pentecostal girl growing up that wasn’t aloud to cut my hair, so I had hair past my waste since 4th grade & this was the one perk I loved about it…every girl who sat behind me wanted to play with my hair! I had a friend who would do things like this which made me feel nice but the next day or even later the same day she would be so mean and the worst friend. I stayed friends with her for 6 years, dated her (big big mistake but it set me free of her completely) then as an adult 3 years later almost fell into the same trap with her again. If you're in school and know girls like this or have a friend like this; run. They will drain all your confidence out of you and alienate you from everyone else.
