2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk 2.0T - Redline: Review

- More refined exterior styling, a new turbocharged 2.0L engine, and new tech features make the 2019 Jeep Cherokee more appealing to compact crossover buyers. While the Trail Rated Trailhawk trim gives you nearly 9" inches of ground clearance and a real 4WD system for those who actually plan to use their Cherokee off road. However, those who plan to keep it on paved roads will find that its on-road dynamics continue to place it behind rivals and its frustrating 9-speed transmission still needs further improvements in shift response and smoothness.

So car review guys says i don't like sport mode cuz it turns of traction control and then complains about it downshifting slow and was lagy.... UHH try putting it in sport mode that's what its for! I have the 200s with the V6, the 9speed is designed to get you the best MPG it wants to always be in the highest gear possible to save MPG. You switch it to sport mode and most of that lag and slow downshift goes away. It then wants to stay in lower gears and keep RPMS up.
Another pet peave of mine is people comparing it to the CRV and saying well it doesn't handle as good as a CRV. Who is cross shopping a CRV and a trailhawk? If your going to say it doesn't handle like a CRV you should also say but the CRV can't climb a hill.
Tim Sisco exactly
Correct.
Exactly my thought. Put it in Sport mode and the transmission doesn’t have any lags.
You know the acceleration isn't good when he doesn't giggle.
Logical Nerd 😂😂 thats so true
Wrong person 😂😂
Straight face = Lame acceleration.
Giggles = Good acceleration.
HOLLLYYYY SH[ beeep ]T!!!!! = Brutal acceleration.
Social Justice Warrior lol
someone needs to list all his videos where he at least giggles, so that I can skip all the ones where he doesn't.
Not in the market but just to watch your car reviews. Honest and no sugar coating.
I love my 2019 cherokee trailhawk. No problems with the transmission. With the active drive II option I'm able to tow it behind a motorhome.
I have a 2019 cherokee limited. I always have problems with the transmission and differentials
Totally addicted to your videos no matter what you review.
A classy touch from Sofyan with the Sergio Marchionne tribute to start the video. That's why he's one of the most respected UA-cam reviewers.
That was really nice! Thank you for that! We try to follow what happens in the automotive news all the time, we work for you guys! We never met Sergio but we really respected his role at FCA over the last 14 years. Let's hope his vision continues to improve FCA for years to come.
agreed!
RIP Sergio👍👍👍
I have the 2020 limited turbo, I think they made some more refinements to the 9 speed. It definitely downshifts quicker, and I have no trouble passing people to the left. There is still that quarter second lag, but once the torque kicks in you're off.
Watched this review while sitting in a Cherokee at the dealer. (I’m going to start doing This more) the interior portion of this vehicle is biased and not truthful (cheap feeling materials ) touched everything he did at the same time and same way he touch and poked and everything is very well built.
He has hate for anything FCA. it's like he doesn't even give the car a chance and has a pre-conceived opinion of FCA vehicles.
Beautiful video and hello from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 guys
Greetings Redline Review!
I've been watching your channel for quite some time and really enjoy learning new vehicles and there features with some history about the vehicles too. You guys rock, keep doing what you do!
I am curious thou, if Redline Review has a 'Vehicle Review Request' from the subscribers? If so, I'd love to see a review of the 4th Gen Toyota 4Runners. I mention this on the Jeep Cherokee review, because Jeep and Toyota are huge rivals.
I’ve always been a fan of your videos and the fair, unbiased reviews. The one gripe I have is how you say compac instead of compact. Please enunciate.
I have a 2020 with the turbo and it just goes when I put my foot down. Maybe the refinements in the 9 speed for 2020 made a difference.
Do you have a video that just explains the 4 wheel drive system. I am not new to 4x4 but i am new to Diff Locks and wanted a video to explain the best ways and times to use it. I have the 2019 Cherokee Trail Hawk and want to make the most of it. Great review video.
I pick up my 2019 trailhawk on friday. Excited to have a Jeep for mn winter.
I have a 19 Wrangler and absolutely love it. We plan on getting my wife a 19 Cherokee. How is yours now?. We test drove it and loved it. Very comfortable and quiet.
I have a 2014 trailhawk with 70 thousand miles and 3.2 v6 pentastar the offroad capability is worth the money...the trans I hate...always searching for a gear
@@ggolds5 Love the heck out of it.
How has it held up, any issues. Looking at buying a low mileage 2019 trailhawk or overland edition but worried about Jeep reliability.
@@kevindsmith10000 Really great I have had no complaints on the Jeep.
So nice. I would love to drive this...only thing is I have heard bad things about the transmission and maintenance in general. Anyone have any experience with newer Cherokees?
I want that car since a long time
Always liked the aesthetics Jeep has to offer , but for the price point , I feel you can get more with some other makes. That being said , the trailhawk trim is very handsome.
Good review. I really appreciate how honest your dislikes are conveyed. Question tho wouldn't a toyota 4runner trd pro be a better comparison than a CRV or Rav4. Mainly because of the trailhawk package your testing? CRV and Rav4 are nothing more than big grocery getters.
He seems so excited doing these reviews. The monotone voice is great for putting you to sleep!
This looks the BEAST !
It's got great torque. I took the 2020 2.0 turbo and the v6 for a test drive. I'm picking up the 2.0 turbo tomorrow with 8,000 $ in savings compared to the 2021 v6....can't wait. One more sleep.
I really like the design and off road capabilities of this SUV, I agree with the transmission. I drove different cars with the same 9speed and it just sucks. I wish at least they would have a manual option on this car. Overall I think it has character and it’s a comfortable car for families.
I still think that ZF 9-speed is better in Honda and Acura's cars. I honestly think it works better with the 3.5L V6 in Honda and Acura cars. But yeah overall, I think ZF should just stick to their lovely 8-speeds.
I like your honest review.
The V6 engine is still by far the best engine. Don't get fooled by the optional more expensive 2.0T engine. Might as well enjoy having a V6 engine, such a rare breed nowadays.
I drove the v6, and the turbo non 4wd , and the turbo is way more fun, faster, and geared better off the line and passing power with 295 lbs of torque
The 2.0T is actually the second quickest engine off the line in class.
Negative. The 2.0t Hurricane engine is bad to the bone, making more horsepower and torque than the 3.2 V6. See my channel for videos of it climbing at Moab like a boss.
We bought a 2021 V6 engine and love it!!
The very first thing I do with every video of yours that I have time to watch is give it a thumbs up, because I know your videos are just as interesting as action movies. Now, on to this one. As always, I appreciate what you do, Sofyan. Keep it up!
Agreed , Sofyan and Redline never cheat us .. their videos are always in depth and jam packed with information and analysis.
Nahin Khan oh yeah? How do you explain the
Devon Gee What ?
Nahin Khan it was a joke . There was no video where he doesn't do a good job
Compilation Corner, it's not about being gay; it's about the information he provides us on the latest cars hitting the market. He does it so excellently.
It's a heavy car, expect it not to accelerate that quickly. Plus it has a lot of 4x4 gear. I owned a V6 Limited, loved it. I also found the transmission very smooth, perhaps on rare occasions it may have jerked forward. My seats felt great, not sure why Sofyan was uncomfortable. I had a smilar issue with my 2017 Countryman.
We have a 2019 Trailhawk and it’s just now turning up to 30,000. Miles and we love it so much. It has a plate underneath the transmission so it’s not too easy to steal or take parts off of it. It’s a 9 speed transmission and a 6 cylinder turbo motor with good gas we just float on the ground. We live on a mountain and if we have to leave it there and get away from it for our own safety this car will do the job. We love the fact that nobody can steal the catalytic converter or anything under our vehicle. 😊
An SRT-6 Cherokee would be really run to drive @RIPPSupercharger. The 3.2 Pentastar shares the same block as the 3.6, just need a Pedalmax to remove throttle lag.
I leased a 2017 Trailhawk, after 4 trips to the dealer they finally fixed my transmission so it doesn't jolt me out the front window! With that said I have driven some other CUV size models and am liking this one more and more. However, I still leased it and will likely get out early, but I have no idea what I really want. I want a PHEV with most of these features you can get on the Jeep, but its not happening so far. The lack of instant acceleration does suck! The PHEV's are instant with no gear shifting, but you give up power and features so not ready for that just yet. Nice review! I love the ventilated seats and many do not offer it, well in my price range! I am just thinking of keeping the Jeep for 15 years, but not sure it can make it, I do drive low miles....
i like the red hooks, you gonna need them
picked up the 2019 limited, usually if im passing people or something of that nature, ill throw it in the semi-manual setting and it feels quicker , atleast to me.
This man should have done this review with the Limited or Overland model. The Limited and the overland models would compare nicely to the other competition reviews. The Trailhawk Elite is in a league of its own (off-road). POOR CHOICE BY THE REVIEWER . I drive the 2019 Limited and I am very pleased these last 8 months, comfort, design, engine performance (v6 3.2L) and the 4x4 in the Limited model is great for my Western New York winter that has hit us so far. I originally was looking at the Trailhawk but I have a family now and a budget. 4x4'ing (off road) in any Vehicle will cost you money and my bright white limited with chrome rims, less aggressive tires (MPG) and panoramic roof is my stress reliever these days. its a treat to drive! Its my first Jeep and I LOVE IT!Thank you for your time.
Exactly, his videos are geared more for the sophisticated Asian market. Typical Americans love Jeep. Yeah it's a domestic.
@@jamesdewer I watch his videos, he likes the Porsche and BMW's turbo 6's and 8's. He doesn't know what Jeeps are made for, off road capable first and on road comfort second. I have been driving Jeeps for 20 years since I moved to Colorado and really enjoy my 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 318 motor.
Want to see this head to head with Discovery sport.
I have no clue why I watch reviews from Redline Reviews whenever a FCA product is being evaluated. Even the Trackhawk GG was not enough to garner your satisfaction.
This Jeep is in a class alone. Only 4WD Lo available in the States in it's class. Gives you 2 top engines. Your "favorite" thing to have on a car, a pano roof. I loved that you called the 9HP ZF trans garbage in this review, but said NOTHING of the sort when tested in Honda/Acura products. I get it, you don't like FCA products, but a good reviewer knows how to be "objective".
He’s actually pretty dam objective. I sell Jeeps for a living the 9 speed is absolute crap. Honda makes the best cvt around and Acura’s 8 speed dual clutch is also fantastic.
@@jjchockey Bs. How do you put the Honda as example against Trailhawk? Honda CVT???
@@jjchockey Nice try John but Subaru has the best CVT. Have you driven a Pilot? That transmission is a joke but you never hear anyone complain because of the name, Honda. Let's be serious, our reviewer here cringed when he talked about "Premium" fuel, like it's a wallet breaker. It's not the $45k Jeep Cherokee or the $35k Honda Accord, it's the .20c per gallon in fuel that will ruin your life. Hahaha!
Nice try joker, the pilot doesn't have a cvt it has a 10speed which is terrible just like the Cherokee 9speed and does get bashed for being terrible. The Honda CVT is very good as well as Subarus (CVT suck regardless though) @@Jokero_YT
@@jjchockey I was talking about Honda CVT in general, like on the Civic, Accord and the CRV, def not on the Pilot. I drove a 2015 Pilot and the transmission was super slow and clunky. I don't mind a CVT in everyday traffic, it's actually relaxing and smooth but not great if you are looking for a sporty drive.
Is this the same 9spd ZF that's in the Fiat 500x?
I ask because my wife has that and in Normal/Auto mode it will sometimes 'stall' when slowing to a creep at a light, but let's say trying to accelerate back into traffic for a right turn. The problem (characteristic?) goes away when engaged in any other mode, or in the 'manual shift' mode. Honestly, I think manual mode is the most reliable way to drive with this transmission, but if I wanted to do that I'd just up and buy a proper manual transmission. The other option would be 'sport' mode, but I don't need it to keep 4500 rpms in 3rd gear going 45mph on a city street.
I think it's really a result of the Transmission Control Module/Unit programming in Normal or Eco Mode (whichever the Cherokee has equipped). The problem definitely isn't present during the manual shift cycling, nor is it present in Sport or 'Traction' mode. I think either ZF or FCA tuned the transmission way too conservatively for the typical daily modes and just called it a day.
Informative. But I don't understand why the host keeps referencing Rav 4's, CRV's and others as equal comparisons. This Jeep Trailhawk should be presented with an emphasis on its 4x4 off road capabilities. That is where the focus should be. It is the soul of this version of Cherokee. The gentleman should have presented a non Trailhawk Jeep, for that is where this review was predicated on. Glossing over the 4x4 capabilities of this version of the Cherokee, does it somewhat of a disservice.
I have the 2019 Cherokee TH Elite that was built for the car show to promote the new blue color. Just rolled past 50k added a few dozen switches for the several dozen LED’ and the 8 horns 52” curved light bar and more
What color is it? Looks really nice !!
WHICH ONE IS IT??
12:55 'the ride is rough and loud from the tire and drumming noise.'
16:49 'the ride is very comfortable, quiet, and calming.'
18:36 'the infotaiment system frustrated me *a little bit* .'
18:46 'I wanted to punch the infotaiment system in the face.'
Yeah, there are a plethora of contradictions in this review. And for the record, I've owner a Cherokee Trailhawk for over six years, and the tires that come on these vehicles are some of the best in the business. The provide great performance, are not noisy in the least provided you rotate them regularly and keep your alignment in check (as with any tire), and they last forever. I replaced my first set at 65K miles, and not because they were worn out, but only because I was going into winter and thought a fresh set was a good idea. I have 30K miles on the second set now, and the last time I had it in for service the dealer said they could not see any discernible wear on the tires. They are quiet on the highway (no drumming noise that this idiot alludes to). I agree that the ride is very quiet, comfortable and calming. It's a relaxing vehicle to drive, yet can take you just about anywhere regardless of the conditions.
But why are you testing a rugged off-road SUV with flip flops on? @5:13
Because he's a douche. He clearly has no business reviewing this vehicle. He should stick to Hondas, apparently.

The Trailhawk version looks like a mountain boot on wheels. I like the rugged look of it.
Im wanting to buy a car like this which cars do u recomend that are similar. Smallish suv.
I wonder why the towing capacity is lower than the v6 that has less torque? He said that the torque is down lower than the v6 so that’s not the reason. Surely the 2.0 engine is not heavier than the v6?
Just traded in my 2015 FWD Cherokee with the 3.2 for a 2019 Cherokee Altitude FWD 2.0 Turbo. The new transmission DOES shift better, kicks down faster and holds gears longer. Not perfect, but for most drivers it will perform just fine. The 0-60 is equal between both vehicles, however the turbo accelerates better beyond 60. For kicks, I will take the new 2019 turbo to the strip and see how it will compare to the 14.803 @ 93.06 I was able to squeeze out of my 2015.
Will u review the 2019 renegade
Redline Reviews, you are the best car UA-camr eve. Seriously I love ur personality and videos :)
Make believe it's a Toyota. You'd have nothing bad to say about it. You'd at least leave anything bad out and make believe it's perfect.
So TRUE
Finally back from my vacation. Sorry for my disappearness. Anyway I saw plenty of these Cherokees on my vacation. Saw one in blue and it was a good looker. Also there was one following me when I was on a mountain. Handle it like no problem. My rental handle the mountain no problem as well but I was nervous climbing the mountain.
Double JJ JJ, no such word as DISAPPEARNESS LOL. Absence is the word you're looking for. I will give you bonus points for trying to create a new word, but the English language is a done deal. Today's slang and ghetto verbage is not proper English either.
Steve Franklin
Thanks for the correction. I need to delete the word off my tablet.
Double JJ your very welcome! 😊
I love your videos been watching you for years . Love your honesty
Sick car
I like all his videos on cars but he doesn't really understand what it is about Jeeps. When he first starts the video he says the trail rated badge is because of the tires, later he also mentions the 4X4 options. The trail badge means it has skid plates to protect against rocks, also has the air filter in a position to stay dry for water crossings, a transfer case for lower gearing to crawl out of places you get stuck in with regular gears. On the Cherokees you have the option to electronically lock rear end to a posi. Watching his videos I know he likes the Porsche and BMW's for powerful motors, Jeep is made for trails first and being comfortable on paved roads second. I love my '98 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 318 motor, it is so comfortable on and off road. It takes care of me in Colorado for the last 20 years. Once you own a Jeep, you learn to appreciate what they can do. If you just want to drive on the streets buy a Honda, hehe. Sorry, I had to throw the last part in, no offense to Honda lovers. I can take my Jeep up mountain trails over boulders with ice and my Jeep doesn't slip but if I have to get out and unlock a gate, I can barely keep my feet under me.
AND... lastly, I had a 90 Wrangler new, a 92 Wrangler new, a 95 Wrangler new, a 97 TJ Wrangler new. Consumer Reports hated them. Yet, all 4 were really reliable oddly enough. Bunches of rattles that drove me nuts, otherwise they held up really well and I put over 50K miles on each one while I was in sales at the time. Then I had Toyotas, Hondas, Range Rovers, Ford and Chevy pickups. A Mini Countryman, even a couple of Mazda's and Kia Sorrento SXL-V6. After all that, I just purchased a new 19 Wrangler Sahara Unlimited 6CYL. Auto, 8spd. I love it and I'm enjoying it more then any of the other cars and trucks I ever had. I'll take the FCA risk. You only live once and I'm going to enjoy this. Then again, we may live more then once, there's a lot to be said for reincarnation. HA.
Electric shifting transmission have a learning mode. Learns driving attributes. If a lot of different drivers used the vehicle it probably hasn’t learned a driving style or is still adapting.
You should review saabkyle04 viper.
It's the same 9 gear transmission that is used at Honda/Acura and Land Rover /Jaguar as well. So FCA maybe couldn't make it smooth.
I bought it and it true and good
Why would anyone buy a rav4 or a rogue when you can have one of these? Looks so good.
Actually, only a single press is necessary to turn off the engine remote start.
Looks way better than the hideous last one
does the transmission offer a sport and economy mode?
Thank god they got rid of those lights and turn signals up high.
How does this compare acceleration wise and drivability compared to Forester xt?
That's what I'm wondering, getting ready to trade my XT in for 2019 trailhawk
Tow & haul package is unavailable with spare as well.
Is driving with flip flops allowed in the US? In Brazil, where people use a lot of flip flops, it's strictly prohibited because it can cause serious accidents....
I just bought a 2019 Limited on black friday. When I first test drove it I did think the transmission was a little weird. The shift points didn't make a lot of sense in fact it gave me a cvt kinda feel, but now that i have put almost 300 miles on it the shifting has greatly improved now that it has learned my driving style.
do you still like it
@@guyD0 Yep. Got 28,000 miles on it now it's been great. Only issue I've had is the water pump developed a small leak at 24,000 miles. Trans has been great once it self programed to my driving.
@@dav8388 I appreciate the reply, I'm about to purchase one and have the option of the 2.4 and 2.0. 2.4 has 10k less miles but cost 3k more and all specs are the same
@@guyD0 Mine is the 2.4 2wd. I have no experience with any other engine. At 180 HP it's a little under powered imo, but gets the job done. I'm am getting 25 MPG in mixed driving. I've been on a few road trips longest being 1,500 miles round trip, and got 28 on all interstate driving.
Can this vehicle cross a shallow river? I need a vehicle that can do so. I was a Ford person but they don't specialize in off road. My sister who was a Toyota person is getting a Subaru cross trek to cross the river and I am going with jeep.
LOVE MINE
I just traded in a 2014 Trailhawk for the 2019 Trailhawk Elite. This Vehicle presentation was better then the Dealership's Salesman's presentation. I am 5'6" in height so the seat comfort was adequate for me. The best Comfort Seats are perhaps the Cadillac and the Lexus but you can have two Jeeps for the price of one Cadillac or Lexus. I traded in two Jeep Cherokees for two 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Elites. There is a noticeable lag when accelerating into traffic. Warning Jeep service departments are expensive so do buy extended warranties past the three and five-year marks.
Irrelevant, but 2019 Cherokee Limited V6 4x4 or 2018 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T? (Not sure if the accord could handle snow, don’t need off road experience)
Thong Nguyen I got the accord, but want a Jeep.. if that helps.
Sandals?
Well a vehicle study was done during the LAST SUV buying frenzy in the 1990s. They learned that MOST SUV dont go off road. The same applies today. Who cares about foot wear when your a driving on paved roads... 😬
I drove the 2019 Cherokee Trailhawk & a Limited with the new 2L Turbo, but when the pricing after options creeps into a BMW X1 Xdrive, it’s just nonsense... Testing a Compass now, but I think I’m done with Jeep models all together.
You’re crazy. The Cherokee is well worth it. Try a grand Cherokee.
Does this model come in a 6 speed manuel ?
I think you're over reacting about the transmission. The updated transmission in the 2019 Cherokee is great.
Thank you !
DOES THE PASSENGER SEAT STILL LIFT UP TO AN UNDER SEAT STORAGE AREA ?
NO IT DOES NOT.
The pedal response is kind of slow to go seems for over 10 years its still an issue
Not in the transmission,it's in the motors.
I've had one for a rental for the passed few days and it's not bad. (4x4 limited) There were a few things that I didn't like. The seats were never comfortable, they bottoms need to be a little wider or less bolstering, the blinker stalk should have been a little longer, and at night the interior light adjustment was a little too dark or really really bright with no good in-between. But the worst was when I started looking at the reliability... absolutely terrible
Yeah these thing are good lookin piles of crap under the hood
I own a 2017 Cherokee Trailhawk. And everything you said about this 2019 is the same issue with the 2017. Even though I have the V6. Its ridiculously sloooow and the transmission is always lost.
u should take it to the dealer they have software updates for that transmission
How far can it go on a tank of (premium) gas?
Thankfully enough to get it straight to the mechanic.
+Redline Reviews you test drove the trackhawk too
Do a review on the grand chrokee limited not the srt.
How's the transmission when you put the system in Sport
Jonah Santos fun ! I own one
Sporty
You would assume someone reviewing a car doing a acceleration test would know about that function. Especially when complaining about lag.
@@syked I own one,the lag is in the motor, nothing wrong with the transmission.
Too sensitive and high revving for me. Wants to stay in 4th and 5th gear and high ish speeds. But for racing on the highway in traffic it’s great 🤣
Interesting that you love the zf 9 speed in the Acura, but say it’s garbage in the jeep. Is it because of the price difference or origin of the vehicle it’s in?
It's all about brand requirements. Few people know that Roll Royce used a GM Turbo 400 from the 1960s to about the 1990s. Yet how many people say GM is junk and RR is so nice? Oh yes BMW uses a 5 speed auto from GM too and it has high marks too. Thats why it's all about vehicle brand requirements.
My 2019 2.0T's transmission was wonky at first. But the car must have broken in because it's very smooth now except for when I'm screwing around in sport mode. Used to driving an Audi sedan, so I may have driving habits the Jeep techs aren't used to... Oh yeah, and why doesn't he test the thing off-road? Same old "heres the buttons, here's the acceleration, here's the interior" rubbish. Misses the point.
I drove the Cherokee Overland and it was great. I have no idea what people are talking about when complaining about the transmission. This isn’t a sports car. If your into a sporty feel then this isn’t for you. But don’t turn that into a negative.
I concur this is a very honest review, good job.
The insurance company covers a V6 model to me during me car repair.
pros: masculine look, easy to use in-car system, good eye sight.
cons: the transmission doesn't feel smooth at all, and can't feel the acceleration after 100km/h.
try the car on high way before buying it.
@@tsongyuu I own one, drives wonderful, theres hesitation in all the motors in these cherokees,i don't have a complaint one with the 9 speed transmission, work of art, however the motors all have a hesitation when you reaccelerate on the road.
I own one never had any problem
It was the this or the Santa Fe sport. Both were nice cars to buy but I went with Hyundai for its amazing reliability and warranty , more features and more room. V6 is better than 2.0 t for the Jeep !
Jeeps seem to be priced higher even with heavy incentives.
And Sophian your wrong. Cherokee felt much faster than CRV hands down for acceleration. It may feel sluggish at the beginning yet but 0-60 and a quarter mile crv doesn’t Stand a chance with this cherokee
RIP Master Marchionne
I am 5'7 and 140lbs and CANNOT find a comfortable seat either! Fords are made for 200lbs and above, GM's are made for 6' tall people.
Most modern seats are not comfortable what so ever. way too stiff.
Is it casual Friday???
Honestly the 2019-present Jeep Cherokee, the face lift, looks a lot better than the 2014-2018. If I were shopping for one I’d get a 2019 or newer. I also like the old boxy Jeep Cherokee.
Mines doesn’t have the subwoofer nor hitch anything’s else but those two things
Please test the 2018 Jeep Compass there are literally no reviews on this vehicle and our family is considering buying it.
There’s no reviews because it sucks don’t buy it
May i know the song used on the intro?
Going to lease one like that next Monday 😁
Good choice leasing a FCA product, would hate for you to be stuck a lemon for 4+ years
Have fun in the shop 😂🤦🏽♂️
Why would you do that?
Sorry to hear that..
What should he get? A Ford? I have one of those and I'm in a lawsuit because I've had 8 clutch replacements and it's still crap. I'm looking at the trailhawk next. As a dily driver in the Midwest winter, it's perfect.
can you enlighten me is it that there is a cherokee aspect of trailhawk and another one for grand cherokee trailhawk? or are they the same
Grand Cherokees are bigger with more luxury and options with interior, 4X4, motors. If you don't know you need to go to a dealer and have them explain it to you. I am looking at the Overland models, more specific the High Altitude, with 19 speakers, air shocks that you can raise and lower the vehicle. The trail hawks are a cheaper version of the Overland Jeep which is the more off road version of Jeep, then the High Altitude and Summit are the more luxurious version of Overland. Also look at all the videos of the different models on your computer. I don't think I want a 4 cylinder in a Jeep, 6 cylinder is the smallest I would go. I have a '98 Jeep Grand Cherokee now with the v8, 318 motor and I love it.
Are you saying the trail hawk of Cherokee is diferrent from trail hawk of grand Cherokee ?
you should show how a vehicle parrallal parks itself
Jeep should reproduce the Cherokee classic from the late 90’s
I am driving a ''98 Jeep Grand Cherokee TSI now with the 318 motor and love it, last year of solid front axle. I put a posi in the rear end and about to have motor rebuilt, it has over 255k and still going strong. The best Jeep I have ever had but I do want to try a new one soon.
It’s incredible to me how bad the ZF 9 speed is but how great the ZF 8 speed is. Two modern transmissions from the same company can be so radically different.
Fundamentally different designs.
I dont really think it's a ZF problem here. I have a 2015 cherokee and driving around in auto feels like an 'eco' mode. Feels very detuned. Which is more likely a jeep problem than a ZF one.
oldtwins na I know that (the 8 speed being designed for longitudinal, RWD biased designs) but it’s just bizarre how the 8 speed is often raged upon and the 9 is almost hated by many.
No it’s a ZF issue. Every manufacturer hat has a ZF 9 speed has issues. Look at the google 9 speed forums.
