I suppose that it depends on the caliber and barrel length. A shorter barrel is better for maneuverability in a home. It also means the round is less likely to pass completely through walls/objects. However, the damage potential is almost always reduced to wound channels that are not much different from 9mm hollow points. In which case, you might as well just use a PCC in 9mm such as AR-9, CMMG Banshee, B&T, CZ Scorpion EVO, etc.
@@paulross9287 a fast light bullet is more likely to disintegrate through multiple walls than a slow heavy bullet. Including 9mm and especially shotgun slugs and buckshot.

My son keeps his AK47 next to the bed, and that seems to be a deterrent. Until it goes off in your holster by itself. The P320 anyway.
I enjoy to use revolver S & W M10 with speed reloader
I sleep with my fnx45 tactical. Best choice for home defense pistol, IMO. Once I get my cz scorpion set up it my take it's place but, for my house, A regular handgun is preferable.
Good lawd I love that FN! Hope to have one before I die.
@@HiVoltish layaway is an amazing thing! I got most of my guns on layaway.
In stock list..lol
My list glock 19x,shadow systems mr920,fnx 45,canik tp9 elite combat,cz p10c
For home defense I prefer the mini gun. Very reliable at getting the job done.
It did blow my mind you didn't put the FN #1, I roll with Glock 19 Gen 5, Trijicon rmr type 2, Inforce wild2 light, with Sig Sauer hollow. I do agree with your .45 statement, but not much difference with the new 9mm ammo. Less recoil, still big holes. Love you man! Thank you for all your videos, your perspective is different than the META and that's what I love.
I can hit a beer can dead center at 50 yards. Red dots are awesome, but training is key, the best gun IS the one you train with.
Great video! As usual.
Yay, another gun vid 💪💪💪🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Great video, didn't know the betretta was an Italian firearm. Guess you learn something new everyday.
😂😁
I own the FNX and I agree completely. Love the gun but it’s not for everyone.
Love my FNX. It's a standard model. Don't need a suppressor.
Vp9 for the win
May be an unpopular opinion, but I like the Baretta APX Centurion 9mm. Big enough for 15 +1 and still small enough to be my daily carry
Thank you
Great video
Canik is number one handgun in the world
I highly recommend the m9 because it has a hammer. You can see where your action is. Not to mention its super reliable.
The VP9L also comes with a button release option. "VP9L-B"
That makes sense, I wouldn't want the other. That is why I gave the video a thumbs-down.
@@Win94ae I have the standard VP9 and I love the Euro mag release. It's quicker than a button, and you don't have to break your grip to actuate it. Also it's truly ambi out of the box with no adjustments or swaps needed. Don't close the book on it, you should give it a try.
@@kevinsiegel I would never go with something that foreign. I can see myself searching for the mag release while being killed. I'll just use the setup that I've used for decades. There is no need to confuse myself.
Gotta go with the Glock 20 - I have quite a few 9mm pistols and a couple 45s but the beast G20 is definitely what I would be using if I needed to defend myself in my home (Other than a 12g shotgun or my Ruger PC9 with 30 rd Glock mags)
The FNX 45 is in all of these videos lately 😆 and for good reason it’s amazing. I really like these top 5’s and comparison videos keep it up!
Nice gun don't get me wrong but....That DAMN GRIP is HUGE LOL!!
Interesting, never knew they made a 17 rd drum lol.
My thoughts exactly 😂
That fnx 45 is on all of your lists LOL
A light on a home defense pistol is a must.
What do you think about the canik tp9 elite combat for home defense
Great choices, but no Canik TP9 series at all?
Thank You Clint I like watching your videos I have watched numerous of them. I have learned a lot from you.
I’m in love with my OZ9c X Elite. My 2nd favorite to my Staccato.
number one a 17 62 musket pistol
Thank you for all the useful information very helpful!!
Best pistol for home defense: AR pistol
And your neighbor 's home, and his neighbor's home.....
@@paulross9287 an AR pistol is a glorified 22.
Anything 10.3 or longer is still yielding "rifle-like" wounds due to velocity over 2200fps. Orders of magnitude more lethal than a 22 or 9mm
@@paulross9287 a fast light bullet is more likely to disintegrate through multiple walls than a slow heavy bullet. Including 9mm and especially shotgun slugs and buckshot.
The 3:01 minute mark "bigg-ier and heavier" i cross my words all the time bro. No worries. Love your vids.
Might’ve said it on purpose
@@dinosaurcow7351 Most likely so, I just thought it was a little humorous goof.
I use the FNX 45 and have several in gun boxes around the house. The gun box and that's it name is awesome. I use frangible ammo so it won't over penetrate. My son keeps his AK47 next to the bed, and that seems to be a deterrent. If you have 15 or more round's you should have to worry about reloads, if you haven't won in 7 or 8 shot's you're probably dead already.
HK45 is my go to home defense pistol.
should make a video of the best holsters for guns
Besides being taken outside to shoot on the range every now and then, my FNX-45T hasn’t left my nightstand in 7 years.
I returned my FNX TACTICAL For failure to extract new out the box. did not limp wrist it.
@@tanman7627 hmmm never had an issue with mine
What handguns are best for a girl I’m into handguns I have a few I practice shooting often but for a women with smaller hands and I am going to train her on shooting I just want to be confident with what would help her learn and defend herself
One of the best UA-cam channels on UA-cam 🙌🏾
