- Hey everyone! Today we will be taking a small road trip to find some interesting roadside attractions in the Lake Lure area. We will start our road trip with the beautiful Flowering Bridge. Then we will make our way to the small odd town of Bat Cave! The last stop will be Hendersonville North Carolina. We have a lot to see today. So lets begin!!

I am devastated to see what happened to this awesome area. I am so happy I documented my experience so I can always go back to see what Lake Lure and the Flowering Bridge was like before the storm. God bless everyone that was affected by this horrible disaster. God be with our brave men and women who is helping with clean up and recovery.
There are some amazing views from the hiking trails up at chimney rock! Miss that spot...
We might try going back over the summer. My wife would like to hike up to the waterfall. You might see our adventure in a future vlog. Have a good day buddy. Stay cool!

@@HitchHikingYeti might have to let me know and maybe I can drive down and go up there with ya I been to lake lure so many times but honestly never had a chance to go up the mtn something I definitely hope to do one day stay safe my friend

Hey Carla. I tried to go see the Dirty Dancing steps that day. Unfortunately the filming location is in a gated community. I could not gain access to see them. Thanks for watching my friend.

We have been over in that direction just taking a day trip, i will definitely stop by Henderson next time we go by. I will try that celtic creamery, its 815 a.m., and that made me want ice cream already this morning 😂.Lake Lure is where we went looking for the Dirty Dancing filming locations, but as it turns out, most scenes were filmed at Mountain Lake Lodge in Pembroke VA. Check it out sometime. It's pretty groovy.Thanks for taking us along!!!
I was originally going to show the filming locations for Dirty Dancing in this video. Unfortunately the filming locations are in a gated community. I found the steps that Baby practiced dancing on. Also, the watermelon scene were filming close by. Thanks for watching!
