Mumbai is a busy city. People don't have time for that as they need to make their daily bread and beach recreation and tourism isn't that developed and enjoyed the same way as places like Miami, Venice Beach, Thailand or South Europe in most places except for Goa and Lakshadweep and some beach towns in Maharashtra and Karnataka. Plus people are conservative mostly in lower castes and economic sections of the society causing them to wear full on jeans and shirts even in the beach and the fact that not many Indians swim even though we are a peninsula. India is an overly complex society in itself that it is hard to understand almost anything which goes here for foreigners. The Indian cities are also designed as an urban living hell. Mumbai seems to be lucky to have a nice beach and mountains at the back. Indian culture also encourages taking stress and not being independent and free-minded causing occurrences like what you pointed out contrary countries like Brazil where that's their mantra which is pretty cool tbh.

Room looks alright but for $300 a night that is pretty insane to be honest.. Edit the customer service with the cake is insane though but thats obviously because you are a vlogger

Dale you had need not to roam around for your blinkit package...You had to stay in your room and your package would have got delivered in your room. India is no short on manpower.

Your video reminded of my 3 years working and living in Mumbai. On an official capacity, I've stayed at the Taj Palace Hotel, facing the Gateway of India for 2 weeks and few days at the Taj Lands End in Bandra West, facing the Arabian Sea.
