The greatest sandwich generates not only tremendous flavor, but an experience in itself. This is why the greatest sandwich is the Heartburn Sandwich, which tastes even better when it actually gives you heartburn:
-toss thinly sliced spicy Italian cured meats into a dry pan on medium heat. Be sure to use a variety of meats (pepperoni, soppresatta, salami - as high quality as you can find). This has a couple benefits - to include crisping the meats and rendering out all those unhealthy fats.
    - as the meats crisp up, throw a few chunks of roughly chopped sharp Italian cheese, whichever is your favorite ( I prefer Stella). The cheese should both melt a little and crisp a bit.
    - remove meat and cheese from pan, be sure to leave all those greasy fats behind
-cut two generous slices of hearty, crusty Italian bread. Nestle them into the pan to soak up all those delicious fats, while toasting up the bread to a golden brown
-remove bread from pan, slather both sides with mayo and plenty of fresh cracked black pepper. Add meat and cheese , eat with peperoncini if you have some. Buon Appetit!

Hello there James & The Crew, I would highly recommend trying this sandwich:
For the bread, any sort of light, white, fluffy & small round bun. for the cheese it will be Bresse bleu (bleu de bresse), Tabouli salad and pickled jalapeno
-> slice the bun into two halfs & put it in the toaster for 35 seconds.
->as soon as it is out of the toaster start spreading the cheese on both sides of the bun.
->for next step is to spread a layer of Tabouli salad.
->and the final step is adding a few pickled jalapeno peppers on top of the salad for some heat and sourness.
i call it the "i made too much tabouli and bought too much bresse bleu" sandwich. enjoy
