It's hard to memorize the combos with tears in the way.

pretty impressive, didn't think you'd have much to work with.
One thing makes me interested in Nier is that Automata uses electric and technology combat, and Replicant uses magic combat more than technology combat, although they have a connection
U can see angelic script for example on illusion, meanwhile if u played the emil side quest, the pod says that the old-world magic is not used anymore, but still known to exist from history. So there is only copied angelic scrips but used with normal technologies.
Ehh unlike with drakengard, in nier magic is very closely linked with technology. This is because the magic used in nier is basically the drakengard magic redesigned from the ground up using science after the discovery of maso particles (the thing that the watchers are made of)
Simply put, nier magic *is* technology, with automata's pod using a more refined form of what Weiss uses
@@Christopher-eq1rn Pretty much, remember that the books are pretty much tools made in a simillar way to emil and halua through experimentation. NieR gives a lot of nods to science while explaining what "magic" is, it wouldnt be surprising that androids simillarly to popola and devola are able to copy those abilities and translate them to the pods.

@@jflamen just as much as “rpg” and “action rpg” are grouped together. You can call it what you want but I’m not saying 6 words that ultimately mean the same thing when im trying to describe this specific sub genre
What a joyful day it is when Don,the 🐐,guri would make a full walkthrough with all the endings.
The man the myth the legend showing me I still have much to learn, but I enjoyed a lot to just juggle enemies, even played in hard to get more out of my combos. Good to know you can actually juggle enemies with whirlwind like that

The inputs are smooth as butter friend, it's a joy to play
I dislike the lack of fast pacing and flexibility you used to have in automata but ill admit that inputs are much more improved and weapon switching feels a bit more comfortable even in keyboard.

As much as I like seeing what you can do with what you got i would have much preferred they set magic's to weapons when you swap so I can get a flow going
Yooooo how did you manage more than 3 active magics. Did you sacrifice the block button? or some other ones?
Probably sacrificed the block button in some cases, but I also don't see the basic "machine gun" magic, so that was probably replaced too. :D
@@Lahrcan since you can use all magic while running this time, dark blast (machine gun) can safely be replaced, but imo it is still a really good magic to use in conjunction with melee since that is the only spell that is active while slashing and slicing

You can hold instead of tapping the d pad
@@zsurvivalist7996 you can also set it in the menu to tap to switch with hold being equipping a new weapon

there isnt. he just set 3 or more magics in menu
Ehh no, but you can set up to 4 at a time, and holding the menu button lets you change them via shortcut

I hope they make more games, their games are so good >.< actually 10 times better than devil may cry omg they just don't have as free form combat as devil may cry has. But i'd take neir automata or replicant for the past 20 years over dmc if you could go back n time and put nier there instead of dmc, I think people would laugh at dmc
