I have been playing for a few weeks and it is nice to find some content that feels accurate and relevant as some seem to be either aimed around lvl 8 builds or people who just give you a set of tasks to follow without explaining why they are doing them.

Great video with lots of useful tips :) I'm about 25 hours in and recently restarted to due things differently haha. If you continue this series I'd recommend lower the combat audio a bit 😄

@@ericsaxon5736 So I checked, it is used in a few food dishes, but the only one that's worth mentioning is the Seed Sausage which increases sale prices of trade goods by 10% (15 if delicious). So keep a few for that.
1 str/dex is not equal to 1 speed. When you invest into str you also get crit dmg. The % increase only gives str. And you need 100 str to have +5. By that time 5 str is not even that much. While speed is always useful, even more so when you are fighting large amounts of enemies. Anyway if you feel that 5% increase is better - by all means use it!

17:27 Is there a reason to keep hemp and not turn it into rope? Is hemp good for something else?
If Im not mistaken, it replaces mint in the food recipe that helps with trade good prices. Ill check when I get home and get back to you.

why not go with the percentual strength increase over +1 movement when creating characters?
Because you need to have 40 str to gain 2 str from 5% bonus. Its not a bad option lomg term tho. Early speed is my personal preference.
