@@clydian It is very helpful. It's unfortunate that as a new player it's not intuitive or immediately apparent that you shouldn't use career plans to pump up str/dex on your dps units.
I didn't realize how career plans work until all my companions were level 8. So I was losing out on some attribute points for my builds and there's no way of getting those extra attribute points back. That sucks. But i've been able to go further in the game so far so that's good.
@@clydian Yeah thanks. Good tips in this video. I guess alot more matters on the weapons and armor you are able to acquire for your companion. Movement seems to be super important as well.
Upgrading constitution increases your carrying capacity. There aren't many ways of increasing carrying capacity and you want to use them al, at least until you have a trading post.
@@michaelsealy1755 between movement and positioning, guard, armor, and trading posts / workhorses I don’t believe you need to invest in con. The only time you should invest in con is for bears and workhorses.
With respect to the relative importance of putting more points into str, dex and con considering the bonuses from lego gear, I had a look at the weapon stats overall. It appears as if the range of bonuses is fairly diminished (
We’ve done some math and simulations to compare raw damage stats versus the crit stat. There’s definitely a bigger benefit for having points invested into your base damage stat for the first 8ish levels, but afterwards crit begins to outscale the raw damage stat. If you don’t plan on increasing your critical stat by much, a straight damage stat will better suit you. And this is only talking about str and dex, not con. I honestly never put points into con and always advise against it because it’s a dead stat, unless it’s boosted using a mod or gets rebalanced it will never outperform armor.
I have an active level 12 party consisting of 4 Berserkers, 1 Executioner, 2 Destroyers, 2 Fighters, 1 Swordmaster, 2 Halberdiers, 3 Hunters and 1 Marksman. All have at least 15 Willpower, 20+ Movement and a minimum of 25% Crit. I will add and level my "stored" level 11's as I obtain an upgradable Rare or a Legendary weapon. All my active roster have either of these weapons types. All armor is crafted only. I do not use rangers as quite frankly, even though they are very good I personally do not play them well at all. My group is offensive oriented, although I do have 4 potential tanks if needed. I will be adding another Warrior type and Swordsman type as I just obtained both a 1h Sword and 1H Axe. I am very happy with this group composition. With 8 ponies and soon to be 70k of Krowns I am almost finished. Looking for level 14 Axe, Sword, Pike and Archers in order to level weapons up 2 more times. I need a life.☺

As of right now I do not believe there is a way to get 3 star legendaries or bought armor in the game *naturally*. This may get re-worked in the future with (hopefully) a crafting system overhaul.
There is no crit cap! There’s some arguments over whether there is a ‘soft cap’ on Crit at around 70% but for the most part since you gain crit damage whenever you invest aptitude points into crit chance, you’ll always get a good return.
There has been some changes to Willpower, as it is now capped at 15. This being said I still max out willpower and then pump the rest of my stats into movement and crit :)
@@AkXenpai there isn’t a way to respec attributes currently. You don’t need to restart if you don’t want to though! You can still beat the game without allocating any attribute points :)
From a min-max perspective you are correct. That being said there are specific builds where you may want to put points into it (example an Ingenious One Brute)

Carrying capacity is a waste of an allocation since you can simply buy another horse or get a trading post. Constitution still is the weakest stat.

The stat combinations are all accurate except for willpower. It’s been nerfed pretty hard. I’ll most likely have to make a new video
