The DK3X-2 range features a distinctive sporty design with clear readability and a minimalistic dial which understandably relates to Damasko's instrument watches and pilot watches. With a diameter of 39 millimeters and a height of just 9.9 millimeters, the Damasko DK3X-2 series looks good at work or leisure. The playful contrast between the matte face, large indexes overlaid with a special white color and bold baton hands gives the impression of being a permanent classic.
The DK3X's bead-blasted case is made in-house by Damasko using special submarine steel. Submarine steel is characterized not just by extreme solidity and its non-magnetic quality, but additionally by its unique high level of corrosion resistance even when used in sea water for long periods. At the same time, submarine steel is extremely crack-resistant due to its ductility (special material flexibility under load). Another unique characteristic of this special steel is its dark titanium grey color which imparts a unique utilitarian look. The crown and case-back are also made from Damasko's submarine steel.
The case is water resistant to 200 meters and features a sapphire crystal exhibition case back with a view to the refined movement and skeletonized Damasko rotor. It has curved lugs which provide a more comfortable fit on various wrist sizes as well as drilled through lugs for quick and easy strap changes. All gaskets used in the case are made from Viton™ which offers a premium chemical resistance and is superior to most other materials used in the watch industry. A scratch resistant flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides ensures maximum readability of the dial in all lighting conditions.

I must confess that I am unable to resist the allure of this watch, especially considering that it comes from someone who owns an Omega Seamaster. While the power reserve may not be as extensive, the accuracy is equally impressive. The 39 mm watch case offers exceptional comfort, and its thin profile is aesthetically pleasing. Additionally, the scratch-resistant case has proven its durability over the past two years, remaining free of any noticeable marks. The exhibition case back provides an excellent view of the movement, and I particularly appreciate the updated design of the rotor in this current model. Unlike the Omega Seamaster, this watch maintains a distinct appearance, reducing the likelihood of unwanted attention. Overall, it has been a genuine pleasure to own and wear this watch for the past two years.
