A seriously underrated band and the same for Doug Gray, the vocalist. That guy has a helluva range. Check out songs Take the Highway or Rambling.
Always loved to hear Toy Caldwell, the guitar player, sing also.

Lovely reaction!, and a great song. Please react to “Can't You See”, there’s a live performance with the original lead singer Toy Caldwell- in black and white- it’s spectacular

I got to see them in 2018 before the world stopped. They KILLED.
Needless to say, they're a lot older now (aren't we all?)

You are so right, the 70s was the best time for music, too many bands to name. You just need to explore. Stay away from todays music if you call it that.

I saw Marshall Tucker back in 1973 when I was still in colledge. They were the opening act for The Allman Brothers Band. There was a "jam' session at the end of the concert. Several members of the Tucker band and the Allman brothers band jammed. It was incredible. Take care ....

The 70's were fun. That was my time, I managed to live through it. I graduated from High School in 1977. Yes you would have loved it.

Great reaction video. Both this and "Can't you see" are great songs but IMHO their best live song was "Take the Highway". such a great Kick @ss butt stompin' song!

South Carolina Country Rock. The studio album LP long version of this song is the best because of the extended guitar soloing.

I keep hearing people say, they would have loved to been around in the 70’s. I guess I should feel blessed, having been born in the early 60’s puts my childhood/teen years squarely in the 70’s. In retrospect, it all seems kinda ‘square’ now, but I’m glad the following generation(s) view it as a cool time 😎✌

Let's see how well you hold on as Lynyrd Skynyrd play the literal Hell out of their jam, CALL ME THE BREEZE. I dare you to sit still with all they throw at you in that southern classic. Cooked up, fried, BBQ, with corm bread and sweet tea. All 7o's goodness, just waiting for you to sink your teeth into. This song will make you a more beautiful human. Guaranteed. If you aren't out of your mind after this song. There's no helping you. Enjoy

You should check out Geoff Castellucci sing The Sound of Silence. He has the deepest voice I ever hears. But he'll sing it in 5 different octaves and layer them together. Yeah, he goes from an extreme low bass and goes pretty high as well. I believe you would love it and be amazed. Thank you Schnell. Have an amazing evening, take care, and God bless you 🙏 😊

You know nowadays it's easier to think of Marshall Tucker Charlie Daniels Eagles Jackson Browne Poco Flying Burrito Brothers as country but the reality is they will rock and roll and country wouldn't have had them and Country purists wouldn't have anything to do with them in fact it took Garth Brooks to build that bridge to rock and roll were so many rock and rollers came over to the countryside anyhow enjoy your journey Marshall Tucker is one of the great I'm glad to say I'm an old Fogie and this was what we were listening to and I agree I think between 1968 and 1978 was the greatest times for rock and roll so much diversity that there was something out there for everybody

Im not digging how the lead singer plays with the tsmpo and the extra little bits and pieces. Keep it original. Also the band is playing to fast.

60s, 70s and 80s we're incredible for live music until technology killed it from what it was, man it was a great time for a lot of people
