My grandma sadly passed away about 2 days ago, but this song was her absolute favorite, she used to sing this to me all the time when I was younger. God rest her soul listening to this song up above ☝🏻 thank you for listening to this song and sharing your thoughts! Been a long time fan of yours watching your videos for a long while now!
Your honesty is appreciated, sir. I've noticed that the more basic, the more popular in mainstream music. Pointing out the relative common structure of this great song shows your musical prowess, and most reactors these days lack that insight. I've been trained as a trumpet player in a concert band as well as a drummer. I like to listen for key and tempo changes, cut times, ect. It was good to hear an honest and knowledgeable opinion. I look forward to more.
MTB was one of my favorite bands. Blending rock, blues, jazz, C&W...just a unique southern rock band. "Carolina Dreams" is great from the first song to the last.
Yes actually since moving to FL I heard of Blackfoot. The first band I joined down here was with a guitar player that played for Blackfoot for awhile, Tim Rossi.
I don't know what song you are listening to, but this great song is ANYTHING but basic. From the outstanding flute, to the great piano interlude, this was one of the great performances of the music considered "southern rock".

Big radio hit. I'm surprised you haven't heard it.
I kept waiting for him to go, “oh! I know this one” lmao

Love it. One of those that are great when they come on the radio & you find yourself singing along to.
Still in my rotation. Love the story telling.
Are you familiar with Blackfoot the song train train?

A couple more of their big radio hits were 'Fire on the Mountain' and '24 hours at a time'

Yep, the dude didn't know what to say, so he used old cliche' song lines to try to 'splain it to her.
Mostly forgettable song for me but it was a big radio hit in the 70s.
Absolutely disagree. To me, this was their best song-by far.
