Well done review Mark. Love the tour of the distillery and how this tequila is made as well as the side by side comparison between this one and the G4. This is one of my favorite reviews you have done. I'm looking forward to finding and trying this one.
My absolute favorite review so far! Have I told you I love your channel? This is by far the best agave review channel on UA-cam. Thank you for all you do!
Watching this as I sip on the Terralta 110 for the first time. Wow! May have to hunt for the G4. I’m not sure if I like this or the Criollo more. Great vid Mark! Salud.
Great review, I really enjoyed all of the information .... and the tour was unexpected very special. That's quite an operation and process. And a 5 rating, WOW!
Outstanding video and review. I felt like I was almost at the distillery myself. And the side by side was a nice addition. Would be interesting to see some blind tastings.
Great reviews and tour. Very interesting info on the water. The regular G4 blanco is incredible. I'm curious to try the others see the water content difference.
Great idea on comparing both for water differences! I’ve been wanting to do that myself but I have not found terralta in my local liquor stores. Hopefully they start to show up soon!
Thanks for giving us a look into El Pandillo (as well as the different ratios concerning the water! I did not know those were different between the brands there) - I do not get Terralta near my part of GA but have found it near ATL and Macon numerous times. Over here the only brand I get coming from the NOM is Pasote, but as with what I've heard about all the tequilas coming from the distillery it is very good. I'm looking forward to finding these high proof blancos at some point - the tequilas I've had around 40-45% have been great but I'm willing to get that there's the possibility of even more, bolder flavors at those higher proof points.
The high proofs are limited release but the loiwer proofs are excellent as well. You are more likely to find them locally than the 110 proofs. You would have to order them online..
@@TheTequilaHombre That is true - just have to see if they'll actually ship here. GA is dicey about that. They definitely sound like something I'd want to dive into at some point though. I'll find a way
I can do that for a select group. I have invites from many distilleries and it would be VIP access.. I will work on it when it's safe and announce it on the channel.
El Pandillo is an amazing distillery, I mentioned before is the Tequila's Disneyland. The main attraction is the Mechanic Tahona Felipstein and all the equipment, also very environmental thinking, the way he collects rainwater to be used to diluted his tequilas giving different flavor profiles as well with Spring, and deep well water. Each tequila is crafted in a very thoughtful way without a doubt Felipe Camarena is a Madscientist Grand Maestro Tequilero. His New Terralta 110 & G4 110 are is now on my list I might compare any of them with Calle 23 Criollo. Thank you for the tour I like how you did with so much detail how operates the distillery Awesome review Tequila Hombre. Now my suggestion is if you would like to make a review of Tequila Atanacio is made by the same distillery of Cazcanes Nom 1599 if is possible. Thank you, Mark Salud!
Hey Mark, I notice that the Terralta is quite sweet - both the high proof Blanco and high proof XA. I have a difficult time imagining that Pandilla is not adding some sweetener in contrast to the El Tesoro which is somewhat dry.... Likewise in the high proof XA the vanilla taste comes through so strong that I have a difficult time imagining there is not some flavor added...😖 I'm pretty sure Felipe denies this but, I hate to say it, the taste profile just seems that the facts may not be the same as his protests. I am wondering whether you ever tested this or considered this.
Hi Greg, Thanks for your comment. No I haven't tested it as I really do not need to. I have tasted Terralta and don't think it's sweet at all.. and definitely doesn't taste adulterated. You can test it if you want but I am sure you are going to find there are no additives added to any of his tequila. Thanks for watching!
Hi Mark I've just recently has been interested in tequila and mescal, I stumbled on your Channel and have enjoyed watching what you have been putting out. very informational and educational. I am sure silly questions but I see the coolers behind you in your videos wondering at what temperature do you taste your spirit's at? Room temperature chilled? I'm very excited to see what's out there. Keep up the great work!!!!
Welcome aboard! Those aren't coolers but instead display cases with glass doors that I lit with LED strips. So all of my tequila is kept at room temperature. All 350+ bottles..
Yes, my group at www.Tequilabarrelcollective.com is getting the 108 proof blanco first in the US. If you go to the website, you can sign up to get in on the buy and g4 logo's glasses as well. I don't make any money on the buys I do them to give access to people who normally wouldn't have it. Hope you join us.

Old town will be your best bet for the high proof. Its a limited run project. You may see the lower proofs locally.
Outstanding video

Nice review with the pictures and the narration I actually prefer the Terralta Blanco when compared to G4 Blanco non 110 proof versions.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video. Really looking forward to G4 high proof through the collective
Glad you liked the video. We all can't wait.. its great stuff!

Do you know when the G4 high proof will be available to the US market?
Yes. My group is getting it first. :)

You can order it online... The Regular blanco is good too!
Any idea when the G4 110 will be available? Great video btw, had never heard of Terralta before.

not to nit pick but the actual town where it was made is worthy of mention. Jesus Maria Jalisco
Yep..
G4 is a little too soft. Terralta is my #1.
