This is a follow-along workout (like all of the workouts on HIIT+) and I sincerely hope it helps your rowing! If you're interested in more workouts like this, check out HIIT+ from the link in the description box! Thank you all for your amazing support and making HIIT+ such a success so far! Happy rowing!
you all prolly dont care but does anyone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot my password. I would love any tips you can offer me.
Love all your workouts....as a previous college rower but no longer on the water...I love using your workouts as a base of my overall fitness. I am suffering through a meniscus tear and now post op 3 months. I can no longer run (which was my passion) - now rowing has become my cardio “go to.” I can row hard with no pain!!! I celebrate my 40th college reunion this year - ouch!!! Thanks so much for all you share with us. Cheers
I'm really glad to hear you've been able to make things work after giving up running! Congrats to you and all your hard work, too! Thanks for being awesome, Geoff!
Man I watch you and being new to rowing(really new) I struggle to get my shins beyond 45 degrees or so before my heels start raise up. I am fighting a tight achilles issue on my left heel so trying to be careful not to overdo it. I bought the Concept2 because my running was limited due to the achilles issues. Hoping I can get the rowing to help with my workouts without the stress jogging was causing me. Nice follow along videos BTW.. Thanks.
Outstanding tutorial, Mr. T! I started using the Rowing machine in my gym and you have been a huge help teaching us novel folks how to properly use and get the most out of this machine. My gym has the Concept 2 as well. Do you have a video showing how to navigate the computer? Thanks!
I have been focusing on form these past few weeks - I have short stubby legs - and I find it difficult to find the sweet spot for leg engagement during the stroke...any tips?
Hi Austin! I am from Poland and I look forward to breaking 3min barrier on 1km erg at academical championships. (my PB around 3:05) Very latest workout of mine is 3 by 500m in 1:30;10min rest between. Do you have any idea wether or not rowing this (high) pace is recommended for my goal? I have been following your GREAT channel for 6 months and didn't really notice tips for such a challenging target. Regards bro!
Hey Tom! What a great goal - very exciting! Yes, you will need a high stroke rate to achieve your goal! 30+ SPM most definitely! Continue to practice intervals that work with your goal pace or lower, and you'll be ready to attack the goal soon enough!
I noticed, that after several hours on a rower the rowing motion becomes very natural, like pedalling on a bike. This is to be learnt and get used to. After this it becomes a reflex and rowing is fluent. Sometimes lowering slightly the handle during the return helps not to bend legs too early.

Good tip!
Absolutely! You're doing awesome!! Keep up the great work!
My butt hurts after 5 min rowing. I guess, this is because I put too much pressure for my legs or I have to get pillow to put on a seat?:)
It's very common thing! you may want a seat cushion or seat pad!
Why does my neck hurt after about 10 min of rowing? I’m using proper form.
Interesting! Not sure! I'd have to see your form, but I hope your neck feels better!
