My wife just bought a 2022 Expedition Timberline. She got the green. I didn’t know if I was going to like it but its absolutely stunning. She says people stop her in parking lots to tell her how good it looks. I was surprised at how quick it is and it turns tighter than I expected. The sound system is crisp. She’s not allowing any dogs in it... for the time being. Lol
I wish they would put a 110 plug up front in addition to the 12v plug on the front dash. The F-150 has it. I hate having to use the plug in the back center console.
Thanks for posting! You're right, no reviews from actual folks. Just lots of dealerships and folks at dealerships or shows. Ordered one of these two weeks ago! Should get it in 20 years 😂
Good man. We are awaiting our spec order build this month. This is a low volume model that people are sleeping on. I lost my radiator off-roading in my rubicon because it didn’t have complete skid protection like this Expedition Timberline. One rock popped up and put a hole in it. For those of us that don’t have paved roads, this model is the perfect family truckster.
Actually, the steering wheel moving up out of the way is more for tall guys. DEF helps swinging my legs under the steering wheel to get out when it moves up. My GLI is 10x harder to get out of because it doesn’t.
Great looking rig. Thanks for sharing. Surprised that there isn’t more content on the timberline online from TFL and in general. Totally agree with you that the sales teams at ford dealers know nothing about special editions like this. Would love to hear more comments from you on how it drives.
I'm looking into upgrading my Ford Explorer ST to this. I want to mention a little trick I use for the blind spots. It has the same 360 system as Explorer; on the camera, there are those little black triangles on each corner. Those black spots are about 3 inches on the outside. Pay attention to things disappearing into it and hovering over it as you get closer to the object. My condo garage is super narrow and the way I have to turn my Explorer and use those black triangular-looking things in the blind spot as point of reference has made it so much easier to get out.
We have 30,000 miles on it or so and the stock tires and brakes are in great shape. It has phenomenal power and speed. Putting it in sport mode will give you the acceleration of a Mustang or Corvette, it's unreal. The sound system is great, a lot of bass and very crisp highs. We go off road into steep, muddy, and rocky terrain almost every day as we are building a house deep in the woods with no road and we've never been stuck or close to it. The negatives are all of the fancy computer stuff. The big screen makes it difficult to adjust the heat or AC. The screen has a ton of wasted space and I wish we had the old style radio and mechanical AC/HEAT controls. Everytime it rains or snows, the sensors on the car would malfunction. The dealer had to replace one of the sensors in the front bumper because they kept shorting out. I learned to live with it now. We love the vehicle, but hate the tech.
He's right. A new intake will make the turbo louder. All stock intakes are designed to reduce engine noise. My f250 diesel got super throaty with an intake alone. Turbo was louder too.
I love these timberlines minus the fuckin price and the ecopoop. They are fast but ...Throw a mustang 5.0 in one and have a gdam muscle expo puhpowww. Lol. Like the real world review brah
Exactly what i was thinking, If you go back a decade you would spend 40 grand for a SUV like this. I still have 2006 4runner that went for 30 grand and still run great!
This is the most Southern New Yorker i have ever seen.

Can you do a current review? Like part 2 to give long term perspective.
This confirms why I've got the XLT version on order, that one is reserved for a guy like that. great review!
You are the second owner reviewing MY2022 expedition as I saw, and the first owner reviewing Timberline trim on UA-cam.

Have the exact same model it’s an expensive car but I love it. Traveled from LA to Chicago and it was a very smooth ride experience. Love it.
Thank you. I was thinking about a Bronco but now I'm absolutely getting the expedition timberline.

That can be turned off in the settings if you don't want it to move.

Agreed, where is the TFL content!! @tfltruck
This is the first time I've seen your channel. After three minutes I subscribed, greatly appreciated the Information.
Going to look at one this weekend! Thank you for the video, was helpful to hear from an actual owner

I just got the stealth performance and I think they are worth it especially for those with kids.
thank you for speaking the truth ... and calling out the pointless dealer mouthpieces that waste good search results
Best vehicle review ever.
The ketchup holder is an incredible selling point.
I’m getting one.
Phenomenal REAL review!
Thanks the bugs flying in front are like laser dot they really save you from pointing your finger 😂
Was waiting for you to pop the hood. Its sweet. But damn $$$
Great info, thank you. Down to earth and honest
I have same one you got I just don't know some of the button in the front how it works lol
What’s your daily average mpg. I’m really surprised there’s not much reviews on this model and real world mpg break downs.
One year later do you still like the car , any new issues ?
The other option i have in mind is the Yukon AT4
Nice vid… hows the engine transmission and suspension do you want tell us more?
How's the ride of the AT tire on normal road? I tested the Limited trim, feeling bumpy ride
Hey do you have an update? Curious because I am looking at one in the next few months
Glad you mentioned the music thing! 😩
So, what IS the ketchup tray supposed to be used for, looks like nothing would actually ride in there....
Great review! Looking to get an Expedition so this was a great overview.
Got a 1 year update? We're thinking about getting one.

It looks nice, but couldn’t do $90k for it. Seems like it should be in the $65k range.
I'm gonna need more car reviews from this guy lol
Love the Tyga quote @2:20
A full size suv. Jeep did not compare. And the new Toyota screwed up the cargo area. This is the only game in around.
Bought one yesterday.
my kind of review. thanks.
Didn't realize it had a ketchup cup on the dash!
PRice is crazy. These trucks used to be 50% cheaper.
You could have bought a base model and made it more off road capable for WAY less money.
Just got one 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
I hope he was joking about squirting ketchup in that little area lol.
We have the same tax in East Tennessee
I hate left lane campers.
Decent review. Lost me with the diesel opinion lol. Most people deleting the emissions use there truck hard.
Found one for 70k now
My fiance wants one so bad
90k??? Might have over paid by 20-30,000
Cold air intake is going to make it louder? LMFAO

Go bills!!!!

It's not worth 90000$ dollars.

Don't quit your day job..
You’ll love this review if you into not getting any info but hearing a lot of “dude” and “um”
