  • Have you ever wondered what Long Beach was like 50 years ago? Welcome to LBTV’s Long Beach History with LBTV host, Jesse Lopez!
50 years ago today, the Redevelopment Agency, a forerunner to the Development Services department, buried a time capsule at 100 Oceangate, Long Beach to commemorate the improvements the city was making to the West Beach part of downtown Long Beach and port areas.
Since 1972, this time capsule has been buried here at 100 Oceangate waiting to be rediscovered! Join Jesse and LBTV as we see what's inside!

I wish there was more about the long beach classic movie Craig Denny's version of The Astrologer which was released in los angeles on Wednesday January 14, 1976 it was shot in Africa, Tahiti, and mostly in Long beach, CA but mostly seems forgotten these days.
