Nice review Mr. MRE Bond :) I reviewed such ration last year. Impressing that they work on the content, there is more punpernickel and they added a main from their civilian ration- these 2 parts meals seemed to be good, waiting for the next meals!
Hi Delicious....Thanks for watching and commenting... Some interesting variations to their military meals. I have not had the Pumpernickel before and found the taste a little too strong for my own tastes. I couldn't work out if it would be better eaten with something sweet or savoury?....ATB....Mick
Heloooooooooo Mick. Very cool part 1 friend. The Packaging is different on some items agreed. More prone to damage however? All components look good, and they have plenty of extras. That bread, I have not tried in Yrs. I Can't remember if I liked or not, LOL. I am sure, Lunch and Dinner, will be more exciting. Peace from stateside, John. Stay safe.
Hi John....Thanks for watching and commenting.... A few different items in this one. Not sure about the pumpernickel? A little too strong flavoured for me, and I'm not sure if it is meant to be eaten with sweet or savoury?....ATB...Mick
Hi...Thanks for watching, commenting & the kind feedback... Pt 2 Same time next week. I will be looking at both of the main meals, which have much more substance and variety than the simple breakfast meal....ATB...Mick
Hi Scott....Thanks for watching and commenting. The clear wrap very much reminds me of microwave meals? perhaps being a police ration they may have access to microwaves? It certainly won't stand up to military situations....Wishing you A "Happy Easter" to you and yours also....ATB....Mick
Nice review. A large amount of food. There seemed to be some difference in the main dishes from my own package. The package of xylitol chewing gum seemed to be just as challenging to open in that package. And that other FRH was as big as a shopping bag. I look forward to part 2.
Hi...Thanks for watching and commenting...Its nice to see a few differences from their military rations. I don't think the Mexican chicken packaging would stand up to military conditions?. It's very much like a microwave meal....ATB....Mick
That clear film on the main sounded a bit heavier than what I get on my frozen Indian entrees from Trader Joe's, but still seems vulnerable to rupture in day to day handling.
Hi Mark...Thanks for watching and commenting...Agreed, the film lid looks perfect for a microwave but I don't think we will see them in the military version? It is nice to get a little variation from the norm though....ATB...Mick
Hi...Thanks for watching and commenting. I have never seen Pumpernickel bread like this before. Is it always this thin and crumbly?. It was also too strong a flavour for my simple tastes.. lol. Like rye bread, with more tries, I might start to enjoy it more?....ATB...Mick
@@MichaelGreenReviews Pumpernickel is a whole grain sourdough bread with a long proofing time and baked at low temperature for 12 h or more. That gives it the caramelized flavour. And yes, it is usually cut into those thin slices and crumbly. It keeps for a long time.
Great video!! That’s a nice looking ration and packed full of food and calories. Thanks for sharing!
Hi...Thanks for watching and commenting....The Polish rations usually do well, and this is no exception. Some nice new items to try too...ATB...Mick

When is part 2 coming? I absolutely enjoy the videos

The main was packaged very differently. I wonder how heavy duty the clear wrap is. I'll just have to wait until next week.
Happy Easter Mich !

Here where I live they use pumpernickel and rye bread for Rueben sandwiches
