You did a awesome job on the welds and the age. Yes we do miss watching your videos bro
Thanks! I appreciate it
Holy shit what happened man. I thought you disappeard. IAM happy you are back . Miss all the videos
It's good that your showing the actual struggles of installing a cage without the sugarcoating. I'd like to put a cage in one of my s10's and seeing this makes me think I can do it. Keep the videos rolling. 👍
Glad it was helpful!
New sub. I feel the same way about the neighbors in the grinding thing. Most my neighbors have 25 years on me... I feel like they hate me
I’m about to do this in my turbo s10. Your video is excellent sir. Made it look easy!!
I’m glad it helped
Was a pipe-fitter/pipe welder for 28 yrs.
Just watched part #1 and #2 and I appreciate it, redoing my cage this coming winter and this will he a ton!!
Aloha from Texas 😃🤙🤙🤙 I love your S10 ! I’m building one almost like yours street/strip but mine has nitrous I’m old school and this is my first LS 5.3 so after I learn something’s then I’ll build a turbo kit for my 91 S10 keep up the good work ! I’m following this build 😃👍
Get a whole saw kit with arbors & different size saw make notchen easy &wholes in floor pans easy also.
Use whole saw size same as tube diameter to notch the tube end.
Fitment is great. Looks professional quality 👌. Can't wait to see this thing haul ass.
Thank you! I appreciate it
You ever make it out to wild horse pass? Obviously not anytime recent, just cool to see a UA-camr from the same state
Yep! I have a couple videos out there. Check them out.
Looks great.... I love following you and I’m always waiting for new videos. I can’t wait to start my S-10. You’re such an inspiration.
Awesome! Thanks!
can't say I blame you about leaving UT, this cold has got to end. besides we don't have a track anymore. keep up the good work.
Very nice work Robby ! I was wondering how you were going to weld the tops of your notches , I learned something ... thanks , great tunes at the end
Thanks! Glad I can be informative
I just found your page a few days ago ad cant stop watching the s-10 build. I have a 5.3 that I also want to stick in an s-10 but I am looking for the perfect ext cab to do so. Love the content keep up the good job
I would not use an extended cab man, the regular cab is better for racing and also they have a 3 U-joints with a carrier bearing. makes getting driveline angles a LOT harder. The short cab only has 2 U-joints so the motor and rear end just have to be parallel.
117 Deg, WTF. I stop working in the shop once it hits 95. F*ck all that craziness, lmfao. Love the truck build, working on one myself. Subscribed! Cheers!
That’s why I ended up installing a/c in the garage haha 🤙🏻
Looks good rob, look forward to your videos man you’ve inspired me to build my 93 Sonoma I appreciate the detail you put into your videos keep putting in the work bro! Best of luck from KY
Thanks! I appreciate it
Great job so far ! Keep it up. I’m in the process of doing a s10 build, big block Chevy. I got along ways to go yet.
Thanks for the cage vids
No problem 💪🏼
good video man! I will be doing the same thing here pretty soon. Same thing as yours but I'm running N02.
Good job. Just little DYI grinder sparks will stick to glass
Just found your channel subbed gr8 content
Great videos. I may have missed it, but any estimate to how long this process took?
Wheres part 3 of this cage install I just got the same cage and the 14pt upgrade kinda going off of your vids for reference
Do all of the s&w cages come with the back bar pushed back behind the hoop? All the pictures of them just show a straight bar and I want to make sure I have the extra room for the seats farther back
I’m not sure. Best to call and ask them
What # do you put on mig welder just bought a miller and me and my buddy are doing the 8.50 inspection roll bar just trying to get best setting for wire speed and heat we started at 137 and like 35 I believe any suggestions you can help us out with that at all would be greatly appreciated
no way id use those sheet metal outriggers
Whats the backspace on those 10 wide wheels on the back? Stock width rear and frame? THanks
5.5” and yes, all stock
If u don't mind me asking, do u know the part number for your cage
May be a dumb question but where does the outriggers weld to under the truck? Do they weld to one side of the frame
Yes they are on the side of the frame.
Thanks great build
you in phx?
paint it before you fit it back up
Get an ac yet?? I need one too in my shop....
Yeah I did. I have a video on it too
What did tech say if anything about not having the rear bars ? I dont want to use them either .
Didn't say anything about them. I think you need them go faster than 9.90 though. I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
@@RobbyVsGarage I guess we both will 👍
so you think im a pyscho path?
I’m guessing it’s a steel cage not cm??
Correct
Does anyone know the name of the song he used in the beginning?
Tigerblood jewel- tumbleweed
