    I ve been meaning to try creating camouflage netting and I am going to do so on my Cyprus Bmp the next days.I have a guestion about thinned white glue .Once it's dry doesn't it has a gloss finish on the areas it comes in contact with?

    • @Ricks135scalemodels

    Looks great Rick! Im away to do something similar with AKs netting on the chally 2 from RFM the Scots I'll do TES after the takom Bulldog I'm doing next got them all there lol what's Bordor model's leopard like any good? Think you built it? I bought my favourite leopard the m1A5 on Saturday but its hobby boss's newish one last year with
    the powerplant but just using that for the bergepanzer 2s rear deck cradle should look great! Hopefully ita a good kit was told its 4 mm longer than mengs and 1.4mm lower! Such fun eh 😆

      Thank you. The Border kit was my favorite until I picked yup the RFM. The Border is a bereft fit with very accurate detail but the RFM is over the top in quality. I have got to building it but all the other RFM kits where great so I expect no issues. I love how different companies get scales off.

T6e build I've just finished before rfms challenger2 was te Bordor model's Luchs it's not a nice build tracks are all set backwards in instructions and there link n length so you have to bugger about making sure you have bottom run on top n enough singles round sprockets a hairdryer helped get the old shape out so they fitted correctly haha! But the list goes on its a down scaled classy hobby 1.16 kit the parts on sprues are the same n that eh I've mixed opinions on Bordor there like a hit or a miss!

    • @Ricks135scalemodels
      @Ricks135scalemodels  2 роки тому +1

      I taped it to a piece of cardboard and used a airbrush. You can hand paint, I've done that, or you can soak it in a diluted paint. It get stuff that way.

    Hey, Rick! Thanks for sharing! I noticed you used Cheesecloth, you can also use Medical Gauze (altho, I don't think either one works any better, and I don't think either one is going to break the bank). As for the foliage, I *think* you are of a certain age, same as me, and I recall seeing Francois Verlinden always used Pencil shavings as opposed to bits of paper. I admit I tried it back in the day (hilarity did NOT ensue), the end results were ok. I guess if I had photograph backgrounds, and slick books, it would have looked better. Anyway, it's buried back in some of his books, if you care to look. Finally, I gotta tell ya, you are REALLY tempting me to try to open a bottle of liquid cement! (and that is a rare thing!)

    Hi Rick, thanks for sharing your video for making a cammo net. I’m from Holland and I made the leopard 2a6, Dutch version. Can you tell me what “cheesecloth” is? Google translate didn’t help me😂. I used bandage but thats not as fine as what you use.

      Greating! It is a material used to squeeze water out of cheese or other food when making it. It may be called kaasdoek or sterke verbandgaas in Dutch.
