  • This is an incredible apartment, but for some reason nobody was allowed inside to see it, until now! It’s got everything you could want, plus its directly across the street from the Park! The building was recently redone, and there is laundry on the premises as well as bike storage. Check out this nyc apartment tour and let me know what you think of this amazing nyc apartment!

    The tiny closets make me laugh and cry at the same time. Two roommates can share this apartment with each getting 2 rooms and a bathroom easily. use the 2nd room as an office/closet.

    Two people sharing the place would give them their own bedroom and living room, and the common space for the kitchen area could have an actual dining table and chairs.
    But, regardless, change the locks if a Metrocard can get you in!

    • @BePlushed
      @BePlushed 3 роки тому +18

      Really has nothing to do with the locks. You can open any door with a hard flat object by pushing the latch in. All about them deadbolts and chainlocks!

    • @SweetDreamz0223
      @SweetDreamz0223 3 роки тому +8

      You can basically open any lock if it’s not locked from the inside. It has nothing to do with the lock. If it’s not secure from the inside anybody can open it with any flat object, especially a card or a knife!!!

      Yes 2 people would be better, use one room for the bedroom and either an office if they work from home or there own living room and share the kitchen area.

    • @davidfreeman3083
      @davidfreeman3083 2 роки тому

      @@SweetDreamz0223 Yeah in order to truly 'secure', you need an actual 'dead bolt' lock. Which is usually the only lock I use. While I usually leave the outside handle 'unlocked' because sometimes I don't want to bring keys for short trips outside my room such as taking out the trash, getting the delivery, etc. And if I do feel a need to lock my apartment door while I'm outside OR while I'm inside (like when sleeping) I'll just lock the deadbolt. This way I can't lock myself out either.

    This is a great apartment for students at $850 each for rent. In-building laundry is good. Do a big once a month grocery shopping between 4 people and local shops for items when needed. When I was young, I didn't mind walking for necessities, like laundry and food; never gave it a second thought, it was just the way things were in my younger days.

  • @PurplePaperPrius

    I think this would work perfectly for 2 people. Each person gets not only their own bedroom, but a second room for an office/living space/whatever you want. And then the main common space can be a full dining room. Under 2,000$ per person is not bad at all

    That apartment would be an affordable option for someone with several children. Right across the street from the park is nice if it is a family. I would definitely be getting grocery delivery though as I did not see a grocery store in walking distance from the apartment carrying a bunch of groceries, or just get one of those wheeled carts to get them home.

Now you went downstairs to the washer & dryer and that is a saving grace. All the bedrooms are cool. But I would first have the apartment for me solo. But if I thought about roommates then I would have only one person as my roommate. Making 9ne if the bedrooms a study/home office. And the last bedroom a dinning room. Thanks for walking around the neighborhood of this appartment as well. You make me laugh doing your tours and looking at he stores and other items. Thanks.☺☺☺😄😄😄

    Closets? Those are closets?! You could hang maybe 5 things in them. I’d have to split it with one other person. That way we’d each have one room as a bedroom, another room as our own living area and the “common area” would contain a dining table. I’ll never get used to how small NY apartments are and the amount of rent you can charge for them. I’ve never been a realtor but I know that you pay for location. Wow, just wow!

    This is a nice 4 bedroom for roommates to share. The bedrooms are too small to entertain in but you can have friends over to hang out in the kitchen. Otherwise, they are large enough to enjoy. The closets are too small, especially the last one, so a bed with drawers and a small dresser are a must. It's new and bright and worth one's share of the rent.

    Because of the lack of common space this would be hard to share four ways, though it would be a bargain for them. Others have suggested sharing with just one other, and then you'd have plenty of room for everything and each have their own bathroom. Second floor and laundry in the basement are both pluses.

    My very first apartment was a dorm that had been renovated into a tiny efficiency, I helped make the most out of my 200 sq ft home by getting a loft bed frame. I put a futon that went from being a 2 seat sofa to a full sized bed underneath and used the top loft for storage. My apartment had no closet and the bathroom was nothing more than a toilet and shower in the corner, wasn't even in it's own private room. My "kitchen" had the only sink and a small refrigerator under the counter. But hey, I made it work! If I lived here with the small bedroom and the itty bitty closet, I'd probably do the same set up with the loft bed frame and futon. At least this apartment has full bathrooms and kitchen.

    Serious question, if several people are renting an apartment and paying their share, what happens if the roommates move out? Is the one remaining renter responsible for all of the rent? I've never been in a roommate situation, so I don't know how that works.

    • @sandyrose2398
      @sandyrose2398 3 роки тому

      The roomies that are still there divide the extra rent. If 3 of the 4 move out, the lone tenant is responsible. Tenants should give 30-days notice when leaving -- I assume that it would be easy to find other roommates. That's the downside to several roomies.

    You broke in as a broker, just don't break the sink-sprayer lookalike........lol This apartment is perfect for four college students. This might be formerly a two-bedroom apartment. A nice park nearby.

    Those are Sweet Potatoes, Cash. They're commonly called 'yams', but 99% of the time when someone says yams, they're actually sweet potatoes.

    I learned how to get into doors with a credit card from my clients… like that u used metro cards. The area is much better than it used to be. Apartment is nice if u like roommates.

    With a price like that and space like that, I won't complain about the small closets.

    Cave Man Cash: This cave has great natural light, a working fire pit, and a place for a SHRINE to your God.

    Bedrooms 3 & 4 - the closets are so small you'd be lucky to get your broom in there!

    Good morning Cash. Well not sure what to say about this one. It looks beautiful but not great space and the 2 closets are a joke. Nice being by a park and having laundry in building. Then no sink sprayer a definite must have. Does it look as gloomy there as here in Baltimore today? Have a wonderful day. Violet wasn't feeling it this morning. Such a cutie.

    This did not move me. It reminded me too much of my college dorm especially with that bowling ball lane of a hallway. It would definitely work for a group of college age students, though. $850/month/per room is a good price but imagine the hockey playing in that hallway? The only positive for me is that it is across the street from a park.

    Are you going to do an online Christmas card, for us, featuring you and family? If you are, I'm looking forward to it, if you're not, do it for us please. Video was good too, and no one will breathe a word about your entry into the flat, shhhh.

    Decades ago my wife told me I looked better in caps than hats. I have been a happy cap man since. Cotton or linen for summer and wool with er flaps for winter. A wool cap with ear flaps is very nice in most any temperature. Unfortunately Bellissimo does not have caps with ear flaps.
