I will move to Indonesia probably Jakarta by 2023 when Covid-19 will finish...I already lived in Canada for more than 10 year but I hate snow and cold ...I’m just curious if it will be okay if I only speak English.
It would be tricky if you only speak English though, eventhough now most millenials speak English. But the problem is you will not only be speaking to them. Bahasa (Indonesian) is rather simple, we don't have grammar. I'm sure you'll be able to speak/converse in simple bahasa once you're here. Goodluck and hope you will enjoy Indonesia!
Hey you know it really depends. You can survive spending 100$ per month if you buy cheap street food and also shop at malls that have affordable clothing ( that’s still look cute and stylish btw) But if you wanna live a bit posh life ( hanging out with friends, going to malls, watching movies, traveling) you might spend 500$ or a bit more.
