    I also loveeee south east asian food and we are lucky to have a nany, cook, gardener, driver and a househelp here in Pakistan. I would love to go to Indonésie after this crazy lockdown. Thank you for sharing your expérience.

      Thank you for watching. Yes i think it is a common thing in South East Asia for expat households to employ local staff to support the home. You should totally visit Indonesia. It's beautiful.

    You definitely need to visit Bunaken island in North Sulawesi
    Bunaken is an island of 8 km², part of the Bunaken National Marine Park. Bunaken is located at the northern tip of the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia. It belongs administratively to the municipality of Manado. Scuba diving and snorkeling attracts many visitors to the island.

    you may want to try some cities with higher altitudes than Jakarta, like Bogor or Bandung.
    They don't have problems like flood or really terrible traffic jam. Also, the temperature and humidity is better there overall
    about health care tho, the local hospital here generally really busy dealing with lots of mid to low middle class. So you want to seek a little bit expensive ones if you can
    Also if you really hate conservative Islamic culture, consider visiting places like Bali, Menado, Medan, or East Nusa Tenggara Province
    Islam isn't a majority there so it can be less conservative (wild even, if you considering people eat bats and dogs in Menado)
    About alcohol, Muslims are banned to drink it, so the demand is low. They even make local laws for it, so you need to have proper permission to sell it
    but in some places that have less Muslim as I said before, it's generally easier and cheaper to buy

    The way you say how the traffic in Jakarta beats all traffic elsewhere 🤣🤣🤣 It’s embarassing the fact that Jakarta’s traffic is horrible, but the way you say it, how no other traffic jam can ruffle your feathers anymore, is hilarious 😆😆

    • @Waleochronicles
      @Waleochronicles  4 роки тому +10

      😄😄😄 honestly Jakarta has trained and groomed me for traffic jam. Here in Germany when people complain that there is any form of traffic you can imagine my expression 😄

    You mentioned about the 'developing' healthcare system. I was wondering are you using private insurance, paying for healthcare yourself, or taking advantage of public government healthcare plan?

  • @jeffjero8687

    That was because alcohol was semi-illegal in Indonesia ! You cannot produce or sell alcohol freely whithout license and to get a license is really difficult and expesive that's why alcohol is expensive !

    • @RezaOLine
      @RezaOLine 4 роки тому

      But you can buy alcohol for cheap in bali.. just watch "$100 in Bali" video..

    • @jeffjero8687
      @jeffjero8687 4 роки тому

      That' what I mean by illegal Bali is place for tourism,of course their sell alcohol ! And not everyone in Indonesia think 100 $ is cheap man !

      Like I said it was a tourism place, of course they have a license to sell it, but if they don't, well the police will take it all ! By force, if it was necessary to do !

    How much is Beer in Indo? Like in USD

    • @Waleochronicles
      @Waleochronicles  4 роки тому +2

      As I do not dink beer, I cannot answer that question. But what know is that alcohol is relatively more expensive in Indonesia than in some Western countries. And the local Beer called Bintang is cheaper than any imported beer.

      Thank you. Language barrier would be the first huddle. Once you can overcome that then probably slightly easier. But most Africans there are usually business owners themselves.
