Hi just subscribed I love the sweater and construction so easy. Had a couple questions. Do you do a single crochet row first like with your stitch of the week? Or just go into 3 rd ch like you’re doing. Next when you get to second row do you pull up a stitch from chain space from previous row and stitch to do your next stitch. You say in every stitch you will go into and always make a ch 1 so I was wondering if on next row if you do a sc dec in stitch and ch 1 space,hope that makes sense 😊
First, thanks for subscribing to my channel. You can make a sc row first if you want it will add a solid edge to your work. On the second row you make the sc decrease in one ch stitch and one cluster sc from previous round.

UNFORTUNATELY, the video was very hard to see what was being done particularly on the third row. This was one of the most FRUSTRATING videos I’ve seen to date. The directions were unclear at times and the video did not explain clearly what needed to be done. Nice sweater - lousy video.

The stitch pattern requires a multiple of 2. Start each row with 1 sc and finish with 1 sc. For size S, the one in video I started with 80 sts.

Now looking again at the pattern, I wrote a multiple of 2, but I think it's better to have a multiple of 2 plus 1, so the row end up with a sc
