    Tim i seriously busted out with a hysterical laugh you go...
    “Soooo, think of it like you gotta go in, then go that way, then go back out- Hope that makes sense.” Although you sure didn’t sound too confident about it. I’m crying from laughing so hard.
    Thing is I probably won’t ever forget the double cows hitch now. Idk why but that really just made me laugh so hard.

      Hahaha! Kim, I'm glad my sometimes nonsensical instructions made you laugh and not angry like it has to some other people. That is one of the reasons why I now do commentary and shooting separately lol!

    E.g. For an 8" bracelet- 8' cord +?

    how much extra cord do i need to pull out to do this setup?

    • @TheWeaversofEternity
      @TheWeaversofEternity  9 років тому +1

      The extra cord would be the core strands, so just determine the length of your bracelet and add a couple inches extra just to be safe.

    Awesome! Is there any way to make a 3 strand pass for a 5/8" buckle acheiving a similar symmetry where 4 strands is slightly too big and 2 strands a bit too small?

    Hey Tim I've been subbed for a long time I can't remember exactly how long but I've seen a lot of your stuff but it's my birthday the 7th of August and I was hoping you could make a bracelet in the colors blue and green green is my number one favorite color and blue is second I'm not asking you to send it to me but j just want you to make it int those colors and if you want to send it it's fine but that's all I ask

    • @TheWeaversofEternity

      That buckle is a 1 1/4" buckle. I wouldn't personally use a buckle that large for a bracelet, but that's just personal preference

    When sizing a bracelet when u attached the buckle do u count the buckle it the size or just the paracord that is in between buckle if any 1 can help please

    • @Goddess1Princess
      @Goddess1Princess 9 років тому

      Aaron Gill i personally add the buckle to the size because people that have bought from me like there bracelets lose not tight

    • @TheWeaversofEternity
      @TheWeaversofEternity  9 років тому

      Aaron Gill Yes, take into account the buckle because it will add some length to the bracelet.

    If you send the viewer to another of your tutorials you should put the address on the video, just say look at my tutorial. I looked but found nothing relevant .I looked through all you tutorials but did not find one where it showed you to do the 4 strand set up with two different colours as is needed for this tutorial. Better still start the whole tutorial from the start. If you already have a tutorial just carry on from there.

    Just to even thing's up a bit, In England, what you call a "Cow's Hitch" is called a "Lark's Head" knot or hitch. Now, I may be biased, but I reckon a Lark's Head sounds much nicer than a Cow's Hitch! Whatever it's called, your method of using Lark's Head knots on both ends of the bracelet is great and gives a much better finish to the work.
    Just for fun, here's a UA-cam video of how to tie a Lark's Head knot.:
    ua-cam.com/video/WyzUmetVJFA/v-deo.html
    PS: Thank you for your instuctional videos, I've learned a lot! :)

    To bad you don’t link a video to a simple bracelet you use it on. You mention one super complicated bracelet in the beginning and nothing else. Your beginner videos lack allot of information. You teach us the basic for that double cow hitch but no beginner applications for it.
