You have the tool inserted upside down. How do you know what way the tool is to be inserted? Also, I have picked those locks counter clockwise like that and it's the lock position, not unlock.
Upside down? They’re just just keys they can be inserted either way. And if you’re making a key you just have to have it turned to read. Doesn’t matter if you pick it to lock or unlock.
Problem I am seeing is that nearly each pin has no resistance and reads as a 5 and only a few are springy. Last three cars were fails using a Lishi. Considering returning them all due to no successful decodes. The locks that I have picked open with it never provide the accurate depth so far.
Sounds like user error. I use them everyday and hu101 lot in particular. Sometimes I have to pick it both directions to get a valid code it always works.
With a difficulty rating of 1 or 2 out of 5, they're not hard to use, they're just not accurate. It's becoming clear that NASTF membership is the way to go for key codes. Using a Lishi is consuming too much time with zero accurate readings in my experience. Many half readings or no pin resistance at all. It's uncomfortable to use, hard to see and too time consuming. I can already see that using them will put me behind in work/occupied/unavailable for other customers. Lishi are great for picking locks, but for decoding I have had zero success so far.
Hu101 you sometimes need to pick wafers multiple times and be real sensitive to not picking one if it had any spring to it. If you try and pick a five depth you’ll overset and you won’t get the lock open. If it’s a practice lock you can send it my way if you want I’ll cut a key and send it back. When you’re learning it can really help to know the bitting so you can get a feel for when something is set verse overset.
I always enjoy your videos
Don’t stop
You doing great

Thanks for the kind words. I haven’t posted lately. Pretty much out of Lishi tools to do videos on lol.

You have either bad tools or are doing something wrong. But there’s definitely more than one way to do a job
When picking do you go from left to right or right to left? Or doesnt matter
My preference being right handed is counter clockwise but sometimes for whatever reason these locks decode better picking clockwise
I've tried so many times and I still can't pick my locks?
Do you know the bitting of the lock?
@@BoredLockpicker No, that's what I'm trying to find before cutting a key
