    Hey Bored Lock Picker, I have been trying on this and a HU64 for probably 4 hours combined and can not get them. IDK what I am doing wrong. I would gladly pay you for some insite. You have really helped me get started on you other video's and I soo much greatly appreciate it.

      HU64 to me is similar to HU101 where some times wafers have to be picked multiple times. Video 474 and 476 are on the HU64. sometimes too if the lock is older wafers will seize and need a lot of lubricant to free them up. Also you dont need to pick and 5 cuts and if you do you've overset it and you wont be able to pick it. are these locks for practice or are you on a job?

      @@BoredLockpicker One is for a job(HU64), but they they are a friend and have spare key so no big rush. Second is a friend(HU101R) that is letting me practice on their BMW. I brake cleaned and blow out the locks and lubed the locks before beginning.
      what did you mean by " you don't need to pick and 5 cuts"?
      Also I played with all the wafers with the pick & decoder and I didn't feel any binding before putting andy turning tension on the locks.

      @@phillipzanders9541 the way Lishi tools are designed the deepest possible cut in whatever lock you’re working set just by inserting the tool so they don’t have to be picked.

    Hi thanks for this video. I've managed to pick the lock, same as yours. Got a code. used a HU92R as per the Xhorse Key tool max Pro. Also got the same code when decoding original key on the Xhorse dolphin XP005.
    However, this is a big However, after cutting key it won't work. Seemed like it cut in reverse.
    Do you what I'm doing wrong??
    Any suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks

    • @BoredLockpicker
      @BoredLockpicker  Рік тому

      This video is hu100R your question is about hu92? If hu92 isn’t working insert the cut key back into the dolphin and cut it to all one cuts like 11111111. If your decode was accurate the key will work.

      Hi, I've got the original key and lock. It's for a BMW 1 F SERIES, 2013. Lishi manual suggested to use the HU100R. But local hardware key supply suggested use a HU92R blade to cut key.
      Funny enough it was the same information on the Xhorse Key tool max to use a HU92R.
      Code matches with lock picking and decoding original key on the Xhorse XP005.
      But cutting key on the HU92R seemed to be in reverse.
      Should I have use a HU100R blade.
      Thanks.

    • @BoredLockpicker

      Input exactly what you decode into the machine. Just select Hu100r for your blank. It just makes the cuts on the other side of the key compared to hu100

    Having a LOT of trouble decoding these. HU100GM also. I notice that your tool didn't line up with the depths, (in between) on some, so how did you decide which was the correct one? The tip about the 4 depths was golden. I'll have to try to make a note as to which ones never bind.

    • @BoredLockpicker
      @BoredLockpicker  2 місяці тому

      if doesnt go all the way to the next depth then you go with the lower number. use insta code or lockcodes code fill too. you can enter half cuts and it will tell you if you have valid bitting. also if it decodes real bad and you dont get a code then I will pick it the other direction and take a reading and compare them. extremely rare for me not to be able to get it figured out that way.

    • @jackgates6949
      @jackgates6949 2 місяці тому

      @@BoredLockpicker Only problem is that there is no way to run the BMW version in a code fill. No published codes. No way to use half depths. There is no MACS to help cut down the possibilities. I have tried to use the GM HU-100 series, but no go. Lots of BMW codes not shown in GM and vice versa. "if doesnt go all the way to the next depth then you go with the lower number" So your experience is that the tool reads HIGH? On odds and evens both? I have had some luck using "scissoring" but it's hard with only two hands. LOL

    • @BoredLockpicker
      @BoredLockpicker  2 місяці тому

      I missed your question referring to hu100R I was referring code fill on hu100. I’ve only made a few hu100R keys. I don’t do much bmw all though am getting more and more of them. So far I have only ever had a problem with one hu100R and I cut the lower number if I wasn’t sure. Believe it or not. Even in high security you put a little pressure on the key with pliers and you can get marks. Then you know what to cut deeper. The one I had trouble with I still only used one test key and had it figured out and cut the customers insert that some shitty lazy locksmith didn’t bother cutting.

      @@BoredLockpicker Let me give you a tip that you'll thank me for! I had a BMW at the auction last year. 2016 5 series. Picked and read it. I was off (shallow) on one cut. The lock started to turn. I figured no problem, I'll impression it. Been there done that with HS locks for years. Nope. I turned it a tad too far and it locked up. Now the inner plug was stuck in the clutch plug. There was simply no way to remove the key. It could turn freely 180 degrees in either direction. Fortunately, they let it slide with a blade broken off. The only other option was to pull the panel, and remove the entire handle assembly. This was the type where the handle has a hole that passes over the top of the lock body. TIP: Be VERY careful when turning a BMW 100R. Theoretically, the same could happen if the key was cut too deep, although in that case it should clutch over and not break the shear line. If that had been a customer's car... Ugh!!!!

    Hi, what are the keys that come with the Lishi tool used for?

    • @BoredLockpicker
      @BoredLockpicker  2 роки тому

      they are for countries that still cut keys by hand or dont have all the tools you might find in the states or in europe. they arent included in lishi tools that were made to be sold in the states.
