Great video. Thanks. Couldn’t get Breville powder (back ordered). I have 3 2-packs of durgol from a previous coffee machine. Almost threw it out! Thanks, again.
Its a good product but remember to wipe the splashes of durgol solution after Descale, on the body of coffee machine. Else it will stain permanently on the stainless steel body.
Hi here from Germany ! Can you also use this liquid for a De Longhi Nespresso machine ? Nespresso support tells me, they only recommend original Nespresso liquid for descaling. What do you think about it ?
I use filtered water so I do not use the internal reservoir filter. The manual that with my machine says not to use the internal filter if using filtered or bottled water.
It is not citric acid and Durgol states that citric acid is NOT to be used as a descaler. They say that citric acid creates calcium citrate scale in the machine.
@@johndoe-vc1we I’m just relating what Durgol says. I use citric acid to descale some things. People use it in their boilers and thermoblocks all the time
Thank you so much for easy to understand.🙏

That's correct. I use it anyway to filter out any dirt that fell into the tank while pouring.
Excellent thanks
-21 C in March! Where is home for you?
Atlantic Canada has late winter months. Some days can be very cold. This is Nova Scotia.

Watch my other video on this ua-cam.com/video/9GTZz2Zuaho/v-deo.html
Really? I watched a video of citric acid being used to descale an electric kettle and this citrate you mention washed right off.

@@mguerramd they would say that so you keep buying their product. Am I right?
@@johndoe-vc1we Certainly possible!
You can also use Urnex or Cafelat cleaner available on Amazon.com. and other websites like clivecoffee.com.
Go back and read the instructions for this machine… it said desolve one package in 32 ounces of water, then fill tank to its limit.
