Thank you for sharing your words of wisdom. Solution to open up an economically properly funded system at county court level can provide results without creating endless legal traffic jams.

Enjoyed this video and glad to have stumbled upon yourself. As a novice LIP I am educating myself daily. I feel the way the country is going it’s a must for all of us.

Yes, I agree. I have been surpised by how little interest there is in government in a fit for purpose justice system. I guess it does not win votes as easily as the NHS and the economy etc.

The systems are allowed to break down. . As Ai is meant to replace..same model as allowing national utilities degrade in order for privatisation

My bank would not disclose how many times they securitised my mortgage. ..and whether there has been default insurance in place or not.. I guess it would be fraud if the bank had claimed on the insurance following a default by the "lender" and still claimed against "home owner " . Q. How to force the bank to open up their books and double book keeping

Tory underfunding of the courts system coming home to roost. There seems to be a deliberate policy of pricing the working and middle classes out of the legal system, so that only the rich have access to civil law. This is a policy that will backfire in spectacular fashion at some point, but in the mean time, we have to try to improve things. This means asking our MPs to fund HMCTS and the Prison Service better, while acknowledging that the country doesn't have a bottomless pit of money.

The criminal justice system and the underfunding of solicitors and barristers has been alarming over the past few decades. But unfortunately everyone thinks every lawyer is "rich" and milking it. But in the criminal justice system barristers are pretty much working a life-style job with very average earnings indeed.

Personally I would not want to see civil cases moved over to private courts service. The model we have would be okay if it were funded adequately. A private courts service would cost litigants more, as someone needs to make a profit from such a service. I think our courts service can be improved, but it may need help to understand what the customer experience is, and what can be done to improve this to save money for litigants, solicitors and courts.

Yes, fair point. The answer is to have a properly funded system at the county court level. But the drift seems to be in the opposite direction ....

PRIVATE COURTS ?? You mean Family courts ..?? I have quizzed solicitors and barristers as to why Admiralty courts went into family courts . (There are about 5 Acts that proves what I say ) . And they all look at me blank accept 1 barrister who seem to know but wouldn't confirm. . . .

No priviate as in privatised, not state/government courts - the parties pay to a private arbitrator. Arbitration is commonplace, but only in commercial disputes.
