In a way it does not really matter - the bank will get the Land Registry to produce the title deeds (office copy entry) to show they own the mortgage. In a normal loan failing to produce the original agreement is not usually fatal. It is the floodgates argument - the courts are not going to start letting people not pay their loans just because of missing paperwork. Otherwise the whole system would come crashing down. Even though the banks have played their part in the unsavoury way they sell on and package loans.

Ruse to confirm or deny it in the court bundle .. 3rd time that's happened ... aaah. Private hearing . Without informed consent . . Bank gets its own way. . In any way court staff feel easiest .

Do not ever give your power of attorney to another. Especially those who make it complicated. It is not.
Like mortgage contracts ?? You normally make them the absolute beneficiary . And become the trustee as a result .
