Also they’re stance on self defense is so ridiculous that I bet the majority of them would just stand around and do nothing if they’re children were being killed or abused, actually there are many instances of this happening. He walked in on someone molesting his daughter and didn't do anything for 11 years? Think about how many other kids that guy could have been molesting over that time span. This dufus bears a large chunk of responsibility for allowing that molester to walk free. To all the fathers who watched this video, what would you have done? I was a witness for 45 years and if I walked in on someone doing that to my daughter, that guy would have ended up a bloody mess barely clinging to life and once recovered, spent hopefully the rest of his miserable life in prison.

These brothers guarantee are removed from serving and it really breaks my heart to learn this man and his family have now lost their relationship with our creator. I just come back from the first day of our convention, all about patience. So I will do that, hopefully this will be straightened up in a way that gets justice for the family and justice for Jehovah. Anyone who reports serious crimes or even serious sin against within the organization are instantly label APOSTATE! No ifs, ands, or buts about it! NO questions asked by inside members are allowed if they even dare to question it in the first place. I had information that I wanted to share with the elder body concerning the molestation of two young girls. The elder that stood accused was protected by the organization. It is absolutely true they do punish the whistleblower I know first hand. They told me that if I opened up this case again they would disfellowship me. I was a ministerial servant in baton rouge Louisiana for a total of 14 years 25 years in the organization. I was like really and how do you explain this scripturally? They couldn't but they did threaten to disfellowship me if I turned over information that would have blown his cover. I left soon after. This is absolutely a dangerous cold that cares only about its image! Which they idolize
The FBI needs to do something about them. They work at your banks, school, have access to your medical history, and can really over step boundaries due to their faulty belief system.

Molestation not rape. Offender a nephew by marriage and a young teenager. - So I get it was difficult for the father. But it was not handled correctly (boy should have gone to counseling - and there is a chance he was abused as well. Typical behavior - they pass it on). It is unclear if the boy did it later AGAIN. Father said there were several instance (not only with his daughter). That was to be expected but WHEN. Because if he stopped doing it and did not do it after he got busted - why bring it up now ?

It's obvious what is most important to them. The reputation they project to the world is more valuable to them than a victim of CSA receiving justice. Who does this type of behavior protect? If someone really believes in a God, wouldn't they believe that God would not in any way support men in positions of leadership who decided to put the reputation of a religion ahead of the abuse victim? And a pedophile being put on a sex offender registry and punished according to Caesar's law is the only correct response. Throwing people out for ideological differences is plain wrong. Shunning people is not peaceful. This practice has its roots by the Pharisees when Jesus was a man walking the earth. Jesus condemned this practice. It's not a Christian practice. Labeling people is also a practice of the Pharisees. The Pharisees called certain people, people of the earth. Calling people, "Apostates" is following the Pharisees. Jesus felt pity for these ones. They were thrown about like a sheep without a shepherd. It's not a Christian practice.

Jehovah's witnesses do not keep a black list, but if someone comes into our meetings making a scene and causing distress, he won't be allowed to stay. We are over 8 million how would they even go about that logistically. We put out numerous articles on how parents should protect their child from predators. I'll list them below. It is the parents job to protect their children and to speak up for them. If this is true it is this parent, not Jehovah's witnesses who swept this under the rug and kept it secret. Keep an eye on your kids because just with any organization everybody is a stranger. When seeking God seek him for yourself or your family. God examines the heart to give according to its ways.
Isn't this type of behavior against Jehovah's high moral standards? Why would Jehovah delay any possible discipline around this type of abhorrent behavior until the new system? Why would Jehovah, who allegedly temporarily allows these worldly governments to maintain order, specifically exclude these type of allegations from being prosecuted? Not only that, why would Jehovah effectively hide the alleged perpetrators? Wouldn't this be a great opportunity for Jehovah and for Jehovah's alleged organization to show to the world that they maintain a morally clean house and are, allegedly, the one and only true religion? And to add insult to injury, the innocent gets shunned. Is this justice? Is this even christian?
The father was blindsided by indoctrination and when someone victimizes someone's child, they are victimized too, especially when institutional betrayal is at play. Their whole belief foundation has been shattered and they have been opposed by a collective corporate giant comparatively. They may think "he is not one of them", but he is one of Jesus' abused flock, scattered and yet still speaking up about his convictions. He is one of Jesus' sons, and how they are treating him, they are treating Jesus, they had better think about that.
He took longer to report it because the end is always near, always around the corner, then time drags out, and the pain got worse over time, and then the scales gradually fell off his eyes when he saw the long-term repercussions of the abuses and finally, it dawned on him that he needed to speak up. It should not have happened, but don't play into it by blaming him on top of the organization victimizing him, he needs to be supported, he did not cause or ask for it.

Imagine what the leaders would do if there was mass exposure and the majority spoke up against it, they would cower, and this is the thing they are trying to stop from happening, that is why victims are quickly chastised as if they are wrong, and in many cases, the perpetrators treated as if they need love and support, because they know that the perpetrators will not speak up against the organization if they protect them, but even if they support a victim of the crime, this may encourage them to come forward and speak up about their experience, so instead they seek to suppress the victim and smear their name to prevent the information from getting out.

Arent assembles a "public meeting in a public place" ?? If so then shouldnt the correct LEGAL way to have any person disallowed to enter the event would be to go to a court of law and get an injunction (interim?) for that person be denied right of entry. If the person tries to enter against the court order then police must be called to have them removed and even charged with violation of the court order. If however the person is peacefully "protesting" out side the building or arena then s/he isn't violating any order. Protesting peacefully should be an individuals democratic right.

My son was sexually abused from age 11 ,to 15 by a very highly respected elder in our congregation. His dad and I knew nothing about it, until 20 years later when it came back to haunt him. A year later he committed suicide age 36. By this time the elder was dead, and so was my husband. Needless to say I am no longer a witness.
My suggestion to everyone in your viewing area ......do not open the door ......dont imagine you are inpolite ......these conveyers of twisted Good News need to be shunned on every doorstep !

The people asking for 2 witnesses to prove their offence, would have not commited the crime in the first place, if 2 witnesses were present, would they ? 2,500 years ago, King Soloman judged a case whereby a couple of on-lookers would have been useful, but he didn'nt need them. Husbands with wives don’t let their elderly brothers babysit their children. If the elders having a meeting with a child the parents must be there, it is encouraged for them too or one of the parents is needed. No one won’t question these accusations? And yet you run into witnesses more often than usual, are they more interested in your children than the concerns of preaching about God’s kingdom to you? Would you not think that these men who was investigated handed over by those in the congregation to officials, that these men who are getting prosecuted wasn’t child molesters before they chose to become one of Jehovah’s witnesses to prey on children in the Kingdom HaLL? Who would not think that the reason for these men going to prison is not because of Jehovah’s protection of his organization? We preach to everyone. Would you think a register child molester will openly admit to Jehovah’s witnesses that they are one? If 14 child molesters was caught not by those outside but those brothers in the congregation, that is 14 child molesters out the congregation but off the street as well, but nobody wants to see it that way. His daughter was not physically harmed, and he likely thought she could overcome being groped (it was molestation not rape. so groping, that she saw or heard sth inappropriate. He protected his kids from then on. The offender was a young teenager, a nephew by marriage. So it wasn't that easy. I know of comparable situations (outside of a religious group) where the parents of the victim abstained from pressing charges and also did not make it public (but the parents of the offending teenager learned about it). The daughter - if the parents handled that correctly - did not sustain damage, one important factor of how that is going to be processed is that she does not feel helpless, was taught how to defend her boundaries - and that the parents were on her side. If the offense is limited to touching or having to watch something ... the most traumatizing thing is the reaction of the parents (do they believe her, are they blaming her, are they in hysterics - also not good). The now adult woman likely does not hold it against her family that they chose not to press charges. It would not have helped her but it would have ruined the life of the teenager (and his family). if - IF - the offender stopped doing it and also did not proceed to even worse actions. But the teenager would have needed professional help (no not praying or stuying literature). Would have been good if the parents of the little victim also would have looked for "worldy" but professional advice how to handle their daughter AND the offender. And there is a chance the perpetrator was also a victim at some point. The problem was that the internal handling w/o involving police was insufficient. JWs condone physcial punishment so it depends on the parents but the boy likely got a severe beating, was getting a sermon - that is not the way to handle this. The father did not know better (as a concerned father, as an elder) and the fools in the governing body do not have any reasonable strategy for that either. The father and his family NOW say it is a problem for them because it was not an isolated incident (O.K. it depends, if one stupid action can be forgiven when he is let's say 12, it does not matter so much if he did it more often THEN. Did he do it AFTER the father walked in on him, or later ? Of course it is more harmless if he only tried with this child and was caught the first time. It is possible that he stopped doing it. Or he went to therapy after he had grown up (which likely would have been frowned upon). Or he continued to molest children as teenager - or maybe even as adult. If he stopped doing that and grew out of it, it was kinda cruel to bring it up later. Why ruin his life NOW ? (Considering the limited damage he has done and his immaturity, maybe even that he had been a victim as well).
So the man walks in on his daughter getting abused and he gets labeled an apostate? Meanwhile, the abuser "shows repentance" and stays in the congregation with no warning to the congregation that he is a child abuser, or moves to a new congregation and the new congregation gets no warning... How is this not an obvious problem to JW's?
So this happened in 2005 and it took all this time to step up and to say something about this, why would somebody wait so long to say something I do not understand this at all.
Because the end is always near, then time drags out, and the pain got worse over time, and then the scales gradually fell off his eyes when he saw the long-term repercussions of the abuses and finally it dawned on him that he needed to speak up. It should not have happened, but don't play into it by blaming him on top of the organization victimizing him, he needs to be supported, he did not cause or ask for it.

He walked in on someone molesting his daughter and didn't do anything for 11 years? Think about how many other kids that guy could have been molesting over that time span. This dufus bears a large chunk of responsibility for allowing that molester to walk free. To all the fathers who watched this video, what would you have done? I was a witness for 45 years and if I walked in on someone doing that to my daughter, that guy would have ended up a bloody mess barely clinging to life and once recovered, spent hopefully the rest of his miserable life in prison.

I had information that I wanted to share with the elder body concerning the molestation of two young girls. The elder that stood accused was protected by the organization. It is absolutely true they do punish the whistleblower I know first hand. They told me that if I opened up this case again they would disfellowship me. I was a ministerial servant in baton rouge Louisiana for a total of 14 years 25 years in the organization. I was like really and how do you explain this scripturally? They couldn't but they did threaten to disfellowship me if I turned over information that would have blown his cover. I left soon after. This is absolutely a dangerous cold that cares only about its image! Which they idolize

Throwing people out for ideological differences is plain wrong. Shunning people is not peaceful. This practice has its roots by the Pharisees when Jesus was a man walking the earth. Jesus condemned this practice. It's not a Christian practice. Labeling people is also a practice of the Pharisees. The Pharisees called certain people, people of the earth. Calling people, "Apostates" is following the Pharisees. Jesus felt pity for these ones. They were thrown about like a sheep without a shepherd. It's not a Christian practice.

I was molested as a child and the moment the elders were able to prove it, the man was disfellowshipped and no longer a Jehovah's Witness. Then the elders lovingly and patiently did any and everything they could to help me.
I have never seen pictures of whistle blowers until this man revealed them. Jehovah's witnesses do not keep a black list, but if someone comes into our meetings making a scene and causing distress, he won't be allowed to stay. We are over 8 million how would they even go about that logistically.

Isn't this type of behavior against Jehovah's high moral standards? Why would Jehovah delay any possible discipline around this type of abhorrent behavior until the new system? Why would Jehovah, who allegedly temporarily allows these worldly governments to maintain order, specifically exclude these type of allegations from being prosecuted? Not only that, why would Jehovah effectively hide the alleged perpetrators? Wouldn't this be a great opportunity for Jehovah and for Jehovah's alleged organization to show to the world that they maintain a morally clean house and are, allegedly, the one and only true religion? And to add insult to injury, the innocent gets shunned. Is this justice? Is this even christian?

@@KariIsSoVery Thank you. they are contributing to the wrongful treatment of someone when this is their opportunity to show how truly Christian they are, but a lot of JW's do not want to rock the boat for themselves, and the leadership has it in place, that if you object, you run the risk of being labelled the issue, and this is exactly what has happened to this family now. Imagine what the leaders would do if there was mass exposure and the majority spoke up against it, they would cower, and this is the thing they are trying to stop from happening, that is why victims are quickly chastised as if they are wrong, and in many cases, the perpetrators treated as if they need love and support, because they know that the perpetrators will not speak up against the organization if they protect them, but even if they support a victim of the crime, this may encourage them to come forward and speak up about their experience, so instead they seek to suppress the victim and smear their name to prevent the information from getting out.

If so then shouldnt the correct LEGAL way to have any person disallowed to enter the event would be to go to a court of law and get an injunction (interim?) for that person be denied right of entry.
If the person tries to enter against the court order then police must be called to have them removed and even charged with violation of the court order.
If however the person is peacefully "protesting" out side the building or arena then s/he isn't violating any order.
Protesting peacefully should be an individuals democratic right.

My son was sexually abused from age 11 ,to 15 by a very highly respected elder in our congregation. His dad and I knew nothing about it, until 20 years later when it came back to haunt him. A year later he committed suicide age 36. By this time the elder was dead, and so was my husband. Needless to say I am no longer a witness.

A whistleblower who was a elder at the time was so devoted that he walked in and saw other brothers molesting his daughter. And since you have to live with the sight of what you saw and don’t feel no kinda way and still serve along side these brothers with no problem. Would there be murder in your eyes? Tell me, what was the reason for his daughter being with these elders alone without any Guardian like the mother at her side? Husbands with wives don’t let their elderly brothers babysit their children. If the elders having a meeting with a child the parents must be there, it is encouraged for them too or one of the parents is needed.
No one won’t question these accusations? And yet you run into witnesses more often than usual, are they more interested in your children than the concerns of preaching about God’s kingdom to you? Would you not think that these men who was investigated handed over by those in the congregation to officials, that these men who are getting prosecuted wasn’t child molesters before they chose to become one of Jehovah’s witnesses to prey on children in the Kingdom HaLL? If 14 child molesters was caught not by those outside but those brothers in the congregation, that is 14 child molesters out the congregation but off the street as well, but nobody wants to see it that way. His daughter was not physically harmed, and he likely thought she could overcome being groped (it was molestation not rape. so groping, that she saw or heard sth inappropriate. He protected his kids from then on. The offender was a young teenager, a nephew by marriage. So it wasn't that easy. I know of comparable situations (outside of a religious group) where the parents of the victim abstained from pressing charges and also did not make it public (but the parents of the offending teenager learned about it).
The daughter - if the parents handled that correctly - did not sustain damage, one important factor of how that is going to be processed is that she does not feel helpless, was taught how to defend her boundaries - and that the parents were on her side.
If the offense is limited to touching or having to watch something ... the most traumatizing thing is the reaction of the parents (do they believe her, are they blaming her, are they in hysterics - also not good).
The now adult woman likely does not hold it against her family that they chose not to press charges. It would not have helped her but it would have ruined the life of the teenager (and his family). if - IF - the offender stopped doing it and also did not proceed to even worse actions.
But the teenager would have needed professional help (no not praying or stuying literature). Would have been good if the parents of the little victim also would have looked for "worldy" but professional advice how to handle their daughter AND the offender.
And there is a chance the perpetrator was also a victim at some point. The problem was that the internal handling w/o involving police was insufficient. JWs condone physcial punishment so it depends on the parents but the boy likely got a severe beating, was getting a sermon - that is not the way to handle this.
The father did not know better (as a concerned father, as an elder) and the fools in the governing body do not have any reasonable strategy for that either.
The father and his family NOW say it is a problem for them because it was not an isolated incident (O.K. it depends, if one stupid action can be forgiven when he is let's say 12, it does not matter so much if he did it more often THEN. Did he do it AFTER the father walked in on him, or later ? Of course it is more harmless if he only tried with this child and was caught the first time.
It is possible that he stopped doing it. Or he went to therapy after he had grown up (which likely would have been frowned upon). Or he continued to molest children as teenager - or maybe even as adult.
If he stopped doing that and grew out of it, it was kinda cruel to bring it up later. Why ruin his life NOW ? (Considering the limited damage he has done and his immaturity, maybe even that he had been a victim as well).
So the man walks in on his daughter getting abused and he gets labeled an apostate? Meanwhile, the abuser "shows repentance" and stays in the congregation with no warning to the congregation that he is a child abuser, or moves to a new congregation and the new congregation gets no warning... How is this not an obvious problem to JW's?

Because you realise, they possibly won't see people they love again, 2. They're up against not only huge organization but entrenched culture. 3. Because of exactly what you said, ppl will question whatever they can question, unfortunately the victim will always be questioned more than the perpetrators.
