sorry sunscreen freak but anyways I thought I should maybe tell you that UV rays still come through clouds and surface uvb rays actually increase by around 25% on partly cloudy days .
Hi Emily! Have you watched Liah Yoo and/or Gothamista for advice on Korean skincare? They're really informative and both are also simply enjoyable altogether... like you. 😊
Would love a video with all your favorite K-beauty products including makeup and skincare, and another video for J-beauty things - maybe if you don't use much of that you can get some new products and review :) Also would love a video with your favorite beauty products from France and Canada since you're from there :)
@@beautywithemilie last month I got all the products you mentioned in this video and my skin couldn't be happier. Like I finally feel like I have a baseline routine that I'll definitely stick too. I'm so thankful
Emily, thank you. I have been very cautious with listening to youtubers "regimes" and "favourites". I realize that some are paid for every "favourite". You have such a wide range of products, from different countries and I really do trust you. Also, your skin looks great!
It's really frustrating that not everyone is upfront about sponsorships. It ruins it for everyone. I choose carefully who I work with (I say no to most offers) but then I'm excited to work with my favorite brands and love coming up with ideas with them. Ideally sponsorships shouldn't bring distrust but ideally people should be upfront and honest :/
The dr. Jart water drop is great. I love how the scent is lemon and not overpowering. I enjoyed that it wasn't too moisturizing that I would feel greasy.
If you get dry patches and breakouts, please do not use leave on micellar/beauty waters. Use water to rinse them off. Anyone with finicky skin should have as simple a skin care routine as possible. I know it's hard when you want to try different things but I speak from personal experience. You'll be doing yourself a favour AND saving time and money in the process.
I love skin care videos, thanks💖! I am a die hard Cetaphil user in the mornings, it’s so gentle on my skin. My favourite moisturizer is Alba botanical Hawaiian moisture cream with jasmine & vitamin e. My favourite make up remover is The Body Shop’s cammomile sumptuous cleansing butter along with a Muslin cloth. In the shower I have Clean & Clear morning burst hydrating cleanser for after a run or at the end of the day. These are my faves, but I do have a collection of many toners, serums, and moisturizers. I am on a tight budget, so no high end products except for a blue moon treat😊
I love your videos so much! You're my favorite youtuber, always gives me energy and makes me have a more positive outlook every day after I watch one of your videos. Was so sad hearing you get creepy comments so you feel like you have to limit the types of videos you make on the channel, but hope it gets better because this is my favorite place to hang out on YT :) Thank you Emily!
Love this! Can you also do one on your night time skincare routine please? I just ordered the 3ce velvet lip tint in the same shade and in near and dear. Can't wait to try them out! 😍😍😍
Excellent routine! Skin healthy ingredients and the best products from each market. This is great! I LOVE Pyunkang Yul Mist Toner. Best thing for my dehydrated, sensitive, acne prone skin.
I have the same issue with eye creams. You need to try Caudalie resveratrol lift eye lifting balm. It’s the pink one. It is amazing! It works so well under makeup and never breaks me out/gives me milia. It’s my holy grail eye cream!
Hi Emily! I would like to see more eye look tutorial bc the shape of my eyes is so similar to yours. Would you do??? Looove your channel so much ❤❤ sorry if my english is not good 😥😥
Yasss to the cosrx snail mucin power essence. I used that too and it really helps with inflamed skin. My skin loved it so much it absorbs the product so fast! Also yes to the biore uv essence! The besr sunscreen I have tried so far!!
Omg! I’ve used and LOVED almost half the products you mentioned! The snail essence and biore sunscreen are my holy grails ❤️ will def need to try out the rest!
Thanks so much for making this. I'm trying to develop a bit of skin routine (I've had bad luck with sensitive skin and skin care products) so this is a great help. I started with daily suncream over the summer and want to start working up from there.
Hey Emily, do you know if the le Roche cleanser is ok for your eyes too? I’m currently using the olehenriksen wonderfeel cleanser (in love and running low😞) but was looking for something a little more budget friendly, plus I enjoy trying all the things haha. I love how the olehenriksen also removes the make up and is safe for your eyes too. Thanks in advance ! 💜
So many amazing skincare products! Pyunkang Yul's moisture serum is absolutely amazing, though mine doesn't ever seem to want to come out of the bottle. What else from them have you tried? I absolutely adore their essence toner and balancing gel
The pipette doesn’t get a lot of product but at the same time it turns out to be exactly the amount I need. I’m hoping it will work till the end tho lol I’ve been wanting to try everything else by them at this point and since they have lots of small size I probably will
For my skincare routine I use the Mario Badescu Enzyme cleanser (so gentle), the clinique smart custom repair serum ( so expensive but my skin loves it), the Mario Badescu Hydro moisturizer and the La Roche Posay Toleriane moisturizer with spf 30. I also love the Farmacy honey drop moisturizer, feels awesome. For toners I use the Mario Badescu spray waters or the glycolic toner.
I just love it when a fav youtuber makes a skincare/korean skincare video... amazing products.. now i wanna try the tonymoly toner and cosrx essence... btw i think you can find dr jart products for lower prices if u get them from korean shops like jolse
In the summer mornings I usually just use Lush Breath if Fresh Air toner and the Avene sunscreen. SPF 50 and it’s milky so if you have dry skin it’s moisturizing enough but won’t make you feel sweaty or greasy. I’m fair but didn’t notice a white cast. In the winter I’ll use a moisturizer but right now don’t need it. 😁
Biore is a great brand in general. I need to get my hands on that sunscreen asap! did you try their micellar water or cleansing liquid? they both are soooo good as the 1st cleanse! and thank you for the recommendations in general. I have dry/dehydrated skin, but a lot of stuff breaks me out, so I need those lightweight things as well.
Ooohhhh I'm keen to try the Tony Moly toner. I feel like we have the same skin type, normal/combo/dry nose. Lol. And even before I saw this video, I already have almost everything you use in my wishlist. Hahaha
I think you should perhaps explain some of the key ingredients which Korean skincare is famous for. Like Birchsap, ginseng, fermented herbs, honey uhh so much skin goodness! Sulwhasoo Sleeping Mask is my favourite too ☺️
I love YesStyle. Scrolling through there and reveling in the K beauty is a fav past time. Have you ever tried applying your moisturizer to a damp face after cleansing? Here's what I do with my lovely essences that I don't like wasting on a cotton pad, emily! I save my Mac fix plus bottles and put them in there and turn them into a face spray ! Its been so great! I did it with my son and park 'toner', even my expensive ass sk11, just toss it in a fix plus bottle and bam! Even less steps for ya!
Can I ask why you doubt use Vit C, retinol or acids? If it because you're still so young? I heard you say something about vit c is too much for you? Just curious. I got really into skin care a couple of yrs ago. I started with vit c and aha's and of course moisturizersl. Then about 6 months ago I got even more into it and bought a toner, essence and retinol. Plus I'm using much better cleansers now. (Similar to the one you use-very creamy and gentle) I have 2 I really like. (One I leave in the shower, and one on my bathroom sink.)
I mentioned in the video that my skin hasn't liked vitamin C so far so I'm avoiding it as of now (same for retinol). I do use and love AHA but only 1/2 a week and sometimes very low BHA because again my skin doesn't really like it!
@@beautywithemilie Oh ok. Yeah, you do have very sensitive skin. Mines sensitive as well, but so far ive been able to tolerate some of those products. @@lipstickandbourbon2027 specifically for products from Sephora that so rarely has sales, I'm a fan. You're right that you've gotta have a good sense of prices elsewhere, especially if you can buy somewhere without shipping!
Miss you

You need to look up Hadalabo Premium Lotion and the Hadalabo perfect gel! I think you'll love them!
The normal hadalabo toner gave me CCs so I’m a bit reluctant about trying the premium version. I do have a bottle of it so I’ll eventually do it tho lol
