Hyperthyroidism is also called overactive thyroid.Thyroid is a Gland which is located at base of neck just underneath Adam's apple.
Thyroid Gland produces T3 and T4 Hormone which have a very important role in Metabolism and also in decisions of how much protein is needed by body.These hormones also have a role in heart rate as well as body temperature regulations.
The main causes of overactive thyroid are autoimmune,inflammation and toxic nodules.
Main symptoms include increased hunger,low weight,irritabilty ,fine tremors of hands and fine Hairs.if you have any or all of the above symptoms then you should consult your primary Physician for management of your problem.
