this is hands down THE BEST video i’ve seen on this exhaust. thank you man. you shower everything nobody else has. so informative, makes me less scared to buy the exhaust since i can see what it is like installing and the sound before during and after installment. keep it up man🤙🏼
The only reason I prefer magnaflow is because it’s 2.5” from front pipe back whereas borla is 2.5” front pipe and falls to 2.25” at the axleback. It shouldn’t effect performance too much but I’m sure with lots of mods like a type r turbo smaller diameter could choke the system just my thoughts. Sounds good !
Yeah I have cut outs for that reason. When I get to my bigger turbo that shouldn’t be a problem.
@@JDUB2580UA-cam - I'm interested in the Magnaflow cat back system because they seem to make less noise, do u think they perform and will they support mods like bigger turbo and other high performance upgrades, or do u think it's a middle of the road system that won't support aftermarket upgrades to their full potential, like type r turbos etc ??
Most exhaust support the after market down pipe’s and front pipe’s for bigger turbos

It’ll definitely liven up the sound. I didn’t start hearing pops and cracks until I put the burble tune on.
@@JDUB2580UA-cam what's the burble tune? is that anything similar to KTuner? I'm running that currently Stage 2 Dual Target with Rev-Hang limit and Early Spool
@Rob Gonzalez it’s just a tune where I changed the fueling parameters at low RPM and low load. To add extra fuel in so it can burn after it’s left the cylinder.

ik this is from 2 years ago but I just wanted to say first off, the video quality is amazing but the AUDIO BRO! I almost died when u slammed the exhaust on the table hahahah. and the music was overpowering your voice but other than that, this was a great video and ill probably be copying some of your build lol. praying I get my accord right at the start of 2025 and NO im not getting the ugly new gen.

I’m sure you’ve seen the upgraded body style Honda Accord. I don’t dislike it but I feel like the 2018-2020 are one of kinds. Just the whole front and long fog lights. I was told to wait on the new body style but now Idk because I feel like you get that one body style that you’ll love and others that you hate. Your Honda looks amazing man, keep it up 👍🏾

😂😂 Not at all. I always wanted the V6 coupe honda accord but when they stopped making them, I gave up trying until our body style presented itself and made it my mission again lol. I definitely plan on keeping it but I’m also interested in the redesign especially since the new civic looks similar to the upgraded body style
I wish they made a 2018+ coupe to match the 10th gen. I’ve seen renders of it and it looks amazing.

Hey bro I heard it’s not too loud but not too quiet, do u think it gets annoying at all or too loud for neighbors in the mornings or is it not bad compared to a muffler delete
If you have stock cats the borla exhaust is not loud compared to high flow cats and exhaust cutouts this is the setup I’m running now

Just got a 2022 accord hybrid sport what exact does upgrading the stock exhaust help with? I want to mod mine and read the exhaust is one of the first things to mod Love the vid and ur car looks sick
The right exhaust can help with exhaust flow and help the engine exhaust gases faster and easier. For most cars the real performance gains come from aftermarket down pipe/headers

quick question, i have a 2019 honda accord sport i bought it july 2021. it has the 3 year warranty. if i did this to my car, would it void the warranty?
I’ve been told as long as you don’t mess with the turbo or cats or tune it they shouldn’t void your warranty. But take that with a grain of salt because they could if they wanted to
Only complaint is i have a hard time hearing you over the music. The beats are good id just tone them down some. Good video other wise been trying to figure out what exhaust to get.

I did a vinyl wrap on them. You can find the kit online at Amazon or other car vinyl sites

I like the sound. I thought it was loud until I got my exhaust cutouts. Now when I close them my car sounds stock 😂😂
Did you have some trouble putting on the OEM o-rings on the borla exhaust?
No I just lined it up and tapped it in with some wood and a rubber mallet
Would this system cost me problems whit a check engine light?
No since you’re not touching any of the emissions equipment you will be fine

I’m sorry I read that wrong. I don’t know the part number but I just went to my local Honda dealership and they helped me find it.

i have a 2019 Accord 2.0T and cant wait to put some mods especially a new exhaust. i was thinking about the Borla Exhaust.
I got a 2021 2.0 sport in pearl black in decwmbwr 2021 and was thinking about going with the borla for sure but decided to do a muffler and resonator delete, and it sounds exactly the same if not better cuz my buddy got the borla exhayst and it also cost me less than 300 to do it. And the car performs exactly the same and idles at 700 to 800 rpms jus like it did stock
I thought about doing that but I wanted a bigger diameter of the borla exhaust so it wouldn’t sound tinny. Also I wanted to keep my stock exhaust intact in case I sell my car in the future.
@@JDUB2580UA-cam as long as its about sound, in ny experience it sounded almost the same but yea if u can sell the stock one for even 500 to 600 them its worth it in my opinion. I actually didnt think about selling my stock exhaust or i wouldve done the same too😭😭

To my knowledge no I’m not messing with the emissions or anything do I should be good. I did a “cold” start at the end of the video but I live in Arkansas so it’s not that cold in the morning 😂

Not sure on any gains but with any exhaust removing mufflers helps the engine breathe better. And it sounds good 😂

@@JDUB2580UA-cam have you looked at the R&d thermal exhaust? Check it out on UA-cam. Sounds way different. Could just be different setup though. Your car looks nice man and thank you for the mods list that was super helpful in finding a few things I been looking for. Picked up my 2021 2.0 back in may been slowly picking up the pieces.
