For a boygroup, i gotta say almost none of them kpop boygrups have this sound, the closest thing i know is probably shinee. I hope 5th gen bgs can bring back this sound
i love the backstreet boys but nsync were the better performers for me, they actually put on a show, just watch their HBO special. Backstreet can prove can prove they can dance as evident here but i never found out why they never did it in actualy performance, their intro to millenium tour is a snoozer.
Rick Rass they did it on black and blue tour... bsb made history in the music even more than n sync... n sync was created on purpose to affect bsb , by Lou pearlman , they for me are just plastic and with the simple intention to get a solist ...
Both are good. They did their own things. BSB focusing more on vocals for their performances and NSYNC focused more on the performance aspect and both are good in their own ways. I'll never begrudge BSB for putting vocals first. Yes NSYNC did a lot more singing while dancing but I think the vocals suffered for it.
This is years too late but BSB has always said they focused on vocals more. their influences were Boyz II men and other soul artists and they wanted to do more of that style of music. Nsync focused more on dancing and entertainment, thus why they were better Performers/Entertainers.
