Oh please, almost all of these things are great! ❤🇵🇹 Different level of noise sensitivity? Yes, we are ALIVE! Maybe it's the smell of lixívia, who knows? 😂
Keep doing these videos, I am having a blast! 😊
😂 é engraçado o gajo...
Strange but, these are all the things I love about Portugal.
You like the low salaries?😂😂
Fixed income. Retired. Doing all right👍
@@Dr3u959 yes it's quite nice for an expat, things are cheap. Though they are getting more expensive
By far better than living in Canada
I think 8 out of these is ridiculous - its one of the best places in the world
Estás em Portugal, queres comer o quê? Comida do teu país?também há, mas o melhor e ir há alemanha comer.
Half of these points are just great things, actually.
So zero downsides then
Of all 10, there are a few that I agree are "not so good":
- Number 1: Sometimes it's really too much and I'm all against food waste. Fortunately, many restaurants have come to the conclusion that the right quantity of food still keeps the customers satisfied and it's more economically and environmentally sustainable.
- Number 2: Unfortunately there are many people, especially in the services' area, that don't care about this and leave the customers waiting for hours or even days. I work in that area but if I arrive 5 minutes late to an appointment with a client it will warrant an apology from me.
- Number 3: I'm portuguese, I drive and it also drives me up the walls (pun not intended) when pedestrians cross the street where there's a crosswalk at walking distance. Not to mention that it's illegal. As for Margarida's opinion, she should be criticising the pedestrians, not the drivers.
- Number 4: I feel the same, even for me sometimes loud people in restaurants or even in the streets (especially at night) are quite the annoyance.
- Number 8: We're (still) a relatively poor country, so yeah.
They're loud as hell too? Thats a plus lol
We need serenity
@@paulocorreia7942thanks for commenting it's really interesting to me. I try be respectful too but sometimes I get loud if I'm passionate about something or in a goofy mood. I wonder if what some people say about how learning a new language gives you a new personality is true so I can stop being so annoying lol
@@janpierzchala2004ah understood
I think he doesn't mean portuguese talk loud...but everyone talks at same time and it's a mess, we have a lot of diferent conversations at the table in different subjects all at same time and if a person don't dominate totally Portuguese a outsider can't enter the talks that's frustrating because the language is complex
@@madmadeira1 ah I see what you mean! Thanks that's helpful to know
Too much food? You serious?
He is right. The portion Iis huge..even compared to the US 😂.
😂😂😂,não quer comer não come,ninguém o obriga.
@@rosalinacastro2309 - Sim, sim, para ficarmos como os americanos gordos ...
Did people really expect Portugal to be perfect? I lived in 5 European countries, and Portugal was my least favorite. Weird and cold people who pretend to be nice.
He didn't mention their obsession with their past. They did a lot of horrible things, but somehow, they are proud of it. Other imperialist European countries encourage them to be proud of their centuries of slavery and invading other countries.
Oh yeah, they love to blame for their problems. It's the Brazilians, Africans, or Gypsies' fault. Portuguese are perfectly behaved, and they never commit crimes.
Devas estudar história antes de blasfemar, fimos escravizados por 14 seculos,e sim, tenho muito orgulho em D.Afonso Henriques.
Yes my teddyboy, in comparison with the americans, they almost never have commited crimes ... and have criated great countries... on the contrary of USA, who still destroy countries ?
@@teddydavis2339 "weird and cold people" really? UAU! I guess you were unlucky with the people you met..
